    Island #35: Soaring Sands (this will take you through Level #465).

    • Soaring Sands is misbehaving. My main account finished and got the badge, but when I went back in, it showed that no levels were done. Then my second account got the badge way before the island was complete.

  3. I noticed they added another new Island this morning, with 15 new levels. It’s called Soaring Sands, and there is a badge for when you complete it.

    • me also stuck on 14 tried everything left with 3 tiles outside the box and cant hit them…im thinking we have to move other tiles in the free boxes on the rows…but still cant hit it and cant use hammers…its not easy i wasted so many p/ups luckily i have lots of coins….any help please would be appreciated….thanks…

      • Use a star gem….it clears a whole row including the outside squares so put the star gem in the same row as the out side squares. Hope that makes sense

    • I love blowing things up too. It’s fun. What’s not fun is between the new island and the masquerade event, I lost 15,000 coins. How in the world will I ever get that back? 🙁

      • I play Bejeweled Stars every single day. I play 25 games using level 2, and add 500 coins to my total every day. It takes less than 15 minutes. I try never to miss a day, so have plenty on both accounts to do the Event and the new Island.

    • Level #14: two ways to get the last of the gravel blocks . Move gems into the chambers, make them stars and detonate them or Use the swap tile power up to move the block to beside somewhere you are about to make a match.

      • I was frustrated on level 14, after a few tries, I decided to get those gravel tiles in the middle first, then I had an idea, I put a hypercube in the box and another one next to it, it wiped out all of the gravel right away, that was a fast one.
        Thanks again for the hints in level 8 that went pretty fast after I tried the hints that were given and it worked, all of you are great in giving advice, thank you!

  8. IMO I liked this 1 better than the previous one lol, I got thru
    it all w/o begging for help to get 3 stars on a level. Last time
    no matter what I did that 3rd star kept eluding me and I too
    never have enuff coins so hated wasting them lol. Used
    so many coins today it’ll be awhile b4 I can get that new island
    done lol. But NOT ever going to buy coins in there lol.
    I like badges pogis or no pogis lol. But that’s just me ev1 is
    different!

  9. The one thing that frustrates me every time when we have a challenge for this game is I always have a few leve3ls that I( don’t reach 3 stars so have to go back and redo. I plan for it and try to make sure I will have e4nough by the end of the round but I don’t always definitely frustrating. any tips I have absolutely no problems in using pu’s and in this game it doesn’t cost anything!!! but even if it did I will pay to play no issues

  10. Any suggestions on how to play level 8 in the event? I can’t seem to get 3 stars even if I use a lot of power ups since the meter does not move a lot even if using hyper swappers, flame swappers and the blazing steed. Been on this level for 3 days now and lost a lot of coins, so I am now replaying the earlier levels to up my coins. Thank you and have a great fun day!

    • Have you tried putting moustaches on all of the gems before doing anything else? I did that, then I used the blazing steed,, and then I used a hypercube matched with a star gem. I set off those star gems and checked my score. If needed I did another hypercube with another star gem.

    • Hi Matthew – I went back in and played that level to see if I could help.
      1. I left the cloud where it was on the top. I looked at which color gem I had the most of of the board. I turned them all into stars by using the hypercube and the star power-ups. kabom.
      2. Then I brought the cloud down to the bottom and used the horsehoe power-up to turn the three rows into flame gems. kaboom
      *Result: At this point I took out all the vines, only had 5 stone left, and had 22 moves
      3. I put the cloud back on top and took a good look at what color would be best to turn to stars to take them out using the hypercube/star power-up combination again. kaboom
      Then with the extra points from the horses galloping again, it went right up to 3 stars.

    • Level 8: FIRST move the cloud down to the bottom. You can work the bottom or use side by side hypercubes to blow all the vines. Then move the cloud back up to the top and work the top — two more hypercubes will finish in a hurry but may be more expense than you need. For anyone not familiar with moving a cloud, double click on it to pick it up and then click where you want it to move to.

      • Thank you Moms, RyzandShyn, and Fadedwildrose, with all those tips, I will try again and see how fast I can finish it now. I am usually stuck on most of the regular levels for months, can’t get past 286, I am not a great player in this game.
        I love to blow up the gems all the time just to get more coins too, that is more fun than figuring out how to work the powerups. I hate the butterflies, they are the worse to play LOL.

  14. Hi all, I first got 2 stars on most levels so I went back to get 3 stars and the only level I am having problems with getting 3 stars is Level 13: turn squares into gold with butterflies. I used the Blazing Speed (Horseshoe) and Mustaches, I make flame gems but I couldn’t make star gems. I have 3 stars on all the other levels.

    Any advice would be appreciated,

    • What level are you on in the regular game? You can buy the star gems for coins if you have completed level 90.

      You really need star gems and hypercubes for 3 stars, if I remember correctly.

      • I’m at 178. When I look at the store I don’t see Star Gems. I see Star Swapper and Hyper Swapper to match with a Hypercube.

        I did put a moustache on every color gem and that gave me 2 stars but not the 3.

        Am I looking at the wrong store? Duh!

          • Thanks Suz! I didn’t know the Star Swapper turns a “regular” gem into a Star gem, I thought it was used to swap a gem that was already a star. I learn something new all the time. I made the game harder for myself, oh well. At least the next Bejeweled Stars event I will know better.
