How many current Pogo games have you ranked out in?

The weekend open thread is a regular feature at BadgeHungry. Every weekend, we answer the discussion question above, and chat about anything game-related.   1. There are no ranks in the HOGs, but I’ve completed all of the episodes in all 11 of the hidden object games.

    Other than that I’ve only ranked out in Bejeweled Stars, but closing in on Poppit Bingo. Hopefully will hit rank 200 in 2022, too many undone M&M Badges to do it in 2021.

    • Congrats on ranking out in Poppit Bingo. I have also reached the 200 points. I still play the game daily just to get all the extra badges at each level. Getting to the 1000 is not an easy thing. It is slow going but a 3 games a day is getting me there.

      • I still have the last 7 ranks, but as I said above, hopefully in 2022 🙂

    • I’m sure this has been asked already, but is there some sort bug with Monopoly Sudoku? for the last week I get an error even when I collect rent, it won’t add anything to the total, I’m at 2.147 Billion and some change. Is this pogos way of you not building a huge bank before they roll out the next phase? Typical

  2. That’s an interesting question. It’s been a very long time since I worked on a game for rank. The last ones I remember doing it with zeal was for “Space Hunt” and “Match and Merge”….those were fun!
    Added ranks to a game never thrilled me once I was “ranked out”, and I hardly pursued any of those.
    Also, the criteria for wins needed to progress from rank to rank seems to have dramatically increased with each new/converted game they put out, as did the difficulty of play in order to progress.
    The thrill is gone!
    That said, I am ranked out in 4 current games – Jewel Academy, Bejeweled Stars, Poppit! Party, and Jet Set Solitaire.

  4. i have finished Pogo Sudoku, Phlinx II, and Poppit! Party. I finished Claire Hart Classic when it was still in its original form, but I have not finished any of the other HOGS. I am closing in on MONOPOLY Sudoku and Bejeweled Stars and Crazy Cakes II.

    • But there are 100 ranks in Monopoly Sudoku – how’d you get that far already?
      I tried Crazy Cakes, but I’ve been stuck on Level 93 forever – can’t win it with power-ups or anything!
      So close to Level 100, yet so far…..sigh

      • PS. My mistake – although I’m almost done with the available playable levels in Crazy Cakes, I haven’t even earned the Rank 10 Badge yet – seems ridiculous, but true.

  7. I am ranked out in 30 games. First Class will rank out in a few days and Bookworm in January. After that it is a very long haul to any more, with Sweet Tooth Town being never!

      Congrats on ranking out so many of the new games, some have soo many ranks that’s is harder now than back in the old days
      But keep on going, you are probably close to ranking out all of them ! woohoo! I don’t even know how many games are now on new Pogo, 50 or 60 I guess so you are getting there ! Cool

  8. It makes no sense to go to the trouble of ranking out because Pogo just keeps adding levels in some games and ignoring others..
    I have finished the current episodes in Jet Set, Bejeweled Stars , Monopoly Sudoku, Poppitt Party, Sanctuary, Phlynx II, Jigsaw Treasure Hunter, and Snowbirds. I would like to see more episodes in Phlynx, Poppitt Party and Jigsaw Treasure Hunter (all three seem to be forgotten by Pogo). I hope Monopoly Sudoku won’t be added to the list. I just wish Pogo was as concerned about those games (and some others) as they are about Quinn’s and Cookie Connect.

    • I would’ve loved them to continue with Phlinx 2 as well, but a while back they unfortunately decided they wouldn’t add any other levels(I forget what they were called exactly) =(

    • WOW!! Congats on ranking Snowbird and M. Sanctuary. I have completed all the levels in those but am only at rank 16 of 100 in Snowbird and it looks so far away that I have not yet even tried to estimate how long it would take to get there. Maybe I’ll go get that estimate now.

      • Okay Snowbird estimate: if I could even win 100 games in a day, it would take me almost 18 years to rank out.

  10. I’m with Ryz in everything she stated. I do think some people are confusing “ranked out” with “all levels done.” I was ranked out in so many games before we lost them, but now? Only ranked out in 3: Jewel Academy, Poppit Party and Phlinx II (a game I hate btw, which just proves how many badges we’ve had and how easy it is to reach Rank 50). Until the latest 25 levels were added, I finished all areas in Snowbird Solitaire and am only Rank 13. How can someone possibly reach Rank 100 in that game? Also done with all levels in Sanctuary and only Rank 57/100. All levels done in Jet Set and only Rank 35/50. When the new crew didn’t retain a lot of what made the revamped games fun, I lost a lot of zest for them. The High Score Table in Word Whomp, for instance, that kept me in the game (and a friend with me) until we got the high score or close to it. Now? I rarely play. Plus what they did to “chat’ is a crime. I rarely open the chat feature which would have been unthinkable with the Java and Flash games.

    • You are right – I did confuse ranked out with all levels done. Sorry I answered the question incorrectly. I have finished all the levels.

  11. I have ranked out in only one game but it was so long ago on the old Pogo that I do not remember which game…….lol It was probably one of the games that are no longer on Pogo. Anyway, I never play to rank. I play games that are fun and others that are weekly or event games including marathons. Ranking means nothing to me.

    • I did not even think of the old games until I saw your post. I dug out my old spreadsheet and found that I had ranked out in 48 before the Pogo deterioration.

  14. Only a few!
    Working for ranks is of no interest for me anymore.
    When the old Pogo I used to work like crazy for ranks and in the end I ranked out more than 80 games but now I don’t even try.

    Yes it’s still nice when I earn a new rank and even better when it comes with badge but I don’t play specifically for ranks, they just happen.

    Main reason is that in the old days I wanted all the ranks but mostly I tried because I wanted a specific rank badge I really really liked the badge and chat icon to use it as my favorite chat icon.
    Some of the old rank badges were so pretty like those for Mahjong Garden.
    But now, what interest could I have in earning yet another badge with a number? I have so many badges with big 10, 20, 30….. that one more or one less who cares? Not me lol Nothing nice about them anyway lol

    Besides most of the games now have too many ranks and the requirements to advance are incredibly high and become even more insane as you move up.
    Example Snowbirds, I have completed every single level available and have replayed many levels countless times for badges and I’m only rank 9 !!! Yes Nine! It’s stupid lol and unbelievable!

    Anyway, to answer the question I have ranked out:
    Bejeweled Stars – Poppit Party – Phlinx – Jet Set – Jewel Academy – Pogo Sudoku
    and maybe a couple more I don’t remember right now.
    (Think I’m going to start a list now just to see how bad I’m doing 🤣)

    I’m only counting games where I have earned all RANKS not game Levels.

    For some games I have completed all Levels available (Snowbird) but not all the ranks or the opposite like Poppit Party where I have all the Ranks but I’m far from max out every costume.

  15. I used to be ranked out of 50 games until they redid everything and started us all over. All the Claire Games and the other ones i’ve finished. I ranked out of Poppit Bingo. Poppit Party so far. Besides keeping up with the aquarium games monthly.

  16. Don’t know anymore don’t care anymore either. I used to love ranking
    out in a game. Some I still do. But games like STTown and birds no where
    near close to ranking out. Lucky to have rk 10 badge in them. Sorry someone
    else wrote no ranks in HOGS and it’s just episodes. So if you have all the episodes
    it’s just that an episode badge. Tripeaks had tons of levels b4 not now. They haven’t
    added new ranks in games like that or Spades. Wonder if they will or not probably not.
    They aren’t cash cow games. No pu’s etc.

  17. I don’t play any Pogo game often enough to rank out… I could be close in World Class Solitaire, but I’m not sure, I guess I should go check…

  19. None, not even close, I can’t imagine I could play any of the current games enough to do that. I may have in some of the old games back in the earlier days of Pogo that I played but at this point I don’t remember (Jigsaw Detective comes to mind). At this point I just do the weekly challenges, most of the dailies, and usually buy & complete the dog, cat, food badge packs etc and the game of the month I don’t pay attention to ranks etc.

  20. The only game I ever ranked out in was Squelchies (in “old” Pogo). With all the challenges and marathons these days, I hardly have time to play any of the games I like for fun anymore. I have completed all the levels in Mahjong Sanctuary but don’t know or care what my rank is because it’s kind of irrelevant.

  21. I just need two more collectibles to be ranked out in Poppit Bingo and I am ranked out in Jewel and Phlinx.

  22. I haven’t ranked out in any of the current games. I don’t plan to rank out in any of the games where I have to buy a bunch of PU’ s to get there.

    As of a few minutes ago, I now have 10092 badges in my collection.

  23. Pogo Sudoku (the non-daily one), and Classic Claire. One day I’ll have time to work on more ranks. But I’m too busy trying to finish all my MnM albums first. (I’m going through older ones and tying up loose ends to get the final Secret Super Badges. I’m up to finishing Album #208 out of a total of 302 albums. I seem to be falling further behind.)

  24. I have nothing! Ask me in a year from now and I may have some games that I ranked out in.

  25. I found that ranking out in a game just spoiled it for me. So I don’t try that anymore. I am ranked out in only 2 of the new Pogo games.

  26. I’m ranked out in Word Whomp, Tripeaks, World Class and Poppit Party (although I don’t have all the game badges for all the outfits yet).

    Like many others who commented above, I used to be ranked out in a lot of games like Canasta but it’s slow going on the newer games. Many of the newer games seldom show up in marathons.

  27. like so many other comments – ranking out used to be my all consuming goal – and i did that – to have to start all over took the wind out of the sails so to speak. that said, i was surprised to find how many i have completed – FIFTEEN – and i am really closed to two others and half way through many – marathons, games of the month, etc. have taken over my Pogo playing………………………….. i guess i miss the good old days LOLOLOLOL

  30. I’ve ranked out in Monopoly Sudoku and waiting for the airport and any additional levels. I’ve been getting error messages on the payouts and zero on the community chests all the time now. Same errors on two different mediums of access. Anybody else having this problem?

    • Sounds like you may have hit the 2.147 billion cap.

      Pogo is well aware of the errors, but has to wait for Cool Games to fix them. Pogo can’t reprogram a game that they didn’t produce.
