MONOPOLY SudokuMonopoly Sudoku is now available to play! In this game you will be playing a fun mix of sudoku logic puzzles and classic Monopoly wheeling and dealing.

Monopoly Sudoku has 100 ranks and 10 rank badges to earn: one for every 10 ranks, from ranks 10 through 100.

This game comes with fun puzzles in difficulties ranging from Beginner to Expert, earning Monopoly money for your wins.

Pogo describes it like this: “You can put your money to good use by buying and upgrading properties. Best of all, your properties will start generating more money on their own—even when you’re not playing!”

          • Try the beginner level, I have never been good at math or numbers but I’ve found I don’t need a solver for that level and I’ve also found I’m really good at it even if it takes me a few minutes =)

          • Use your phone, take a picture before you use your 3 lives. You will get the same puzzle until you complete it. As you use your 3 lives restart the puzzle, refer to your picture and update it as you place more correct numbers.

    • I always have a hard time finding the album….. when I click on the badges tab, it takes me to the challenge central page, which only shows the one to buy

  2. I played the game .you have play the puzzles to build house hotels and to upgrade the game
    there is daily puzzle to earn in the upper left hand corner… when you reach it .
    also next week challenge Monopoly Sudoku win 20 games this week… what is a game / any ideas
    there are 3 challenges next week

    • It’s a Hasbro game (like Scrabble?) so only US players can play it.

      Cute game but sure don’t need another daily Sudoku game. So hopefully we can skip that and just move on especially since we’ll need 20 games in the weekly after this one.

      • This is no Hasbro game – if anything it’s a bastardization of anything remotely Hasbro. If only US players can play it, why then, when I first began the game, was the audible in some non-English language that I couldn’t recognize? I was looking forward to more of a Monopoly game, but this is just plain sudoku with pogo charging for powers-up. Oh, yeah, and typical of pogo, they didn’t tell us each power-up was a freebie until we ran out of any.

        • It is a Hasbro game with the name and logo. It’s a developer who converted it and the sudoku has been around for a few years I’m sure the developer (unless affiliated with Hasbro) paid a licensing fee.

          In the past, when we get 3 challenges it’s been because of licensing, like Scrabble. Have no memory about Monopoly Slots challenges.

          I never used any of my power ups, knew there was a store, so figured they were just given to us b/c it was a new game.

          I actually enjoyed the game. I made the $50,000 daily goal on both of my accounts, built some properties, and ended up with 8 game award badges on each.

    • I am with you Cher. I have despised Monopoly since I was a kid and was the only board game I never played with my own kids. I may even pass on weeklies. Thanks to BH I will do Sudoku for badges but only when I feel like it. I only play what I want anymore and it’s fun again. 👩‍💻

      • Sorry to hear that you despised Monopoly. Our family loved playing it, especially at Christmas. I always hated to see family bankrupt out of the game, so at Christmas, I made up a new rule. When a family member was struggling, I would ring a bell and they would get a Christmas bonus. Made it even more fun, to interject the Christmas spirit.

  4. I like it. Definitely the best Sudoku they’ve put on the site. They should have dropped the regular Pogo Sudoku from ever releasing though and worked on this. As this is a massive upgrade to that game and even a huge lift from Pogo Daily Sudoku.

    Very impressed with it so far. And I like that you can play beginner levels as I hate doing expert sudoku (I will probably only do the harder difficulties for weeklies. Hopefully they won’t require them.)

    Loving the upgrading system and the making money when away.

    • I should mention that I say difficulty choosing because at first they place you right in a game and I was super worried that it was going to be a level based game with difficulty increases (like Quinn’s, snowbirds, jet set, bejeweled , jewel academy, sweet tooth town etc.)

  6. Found out that when I called up a sudoku solver, a pop up would cover the screen when u took the mouse off it. So, I used my iphone and took shot to then add the info into the solver. Then I thought that there was gonna b a zillion pics overall as u play the game. So I then thought about using Snippet Tool (or another screenshot type of program) and just not saving the shot in the end, so no puter clutter.

    • For those of you wanting to use a Sudoku Solver, resize your browser windows and put them side by side.

      Get to the home screen of Monopoly Sudoku, start the Sudoku game, and then select the level. Immediately click on your Sudoku Solver browser window. Do NOT touch the Monopoly Sudoku window until you’ve filled in and run the Sudoku Solver.

      This should allow you to keep the Solver window visible while you work on the actual Sudoku puzzle.

      I’ve done this and have taken one of my properties from 1 hotel to five hotels today, playing on expert levels.

  7. Pretty good game. The first few badges are very easy. The only flaw I saw was that if you are using notes and finish all of a number, you cannot get that number out of your notes. The color coding is very helpful, especially in the lower levels.

  8. Since there are bitcoins this is definitely not just a US game. It is not a game I am going to play or like. The only Sudoku game I like is Pogo Sudoku. I will probably detest this as much as I detest Pogo Daily Sudoku. I would have much preferred if they could have come up with some kind of Monopoly game so it will be a tossup on whether or not I play the weekly games.

      • Susan, I am completely with you on that. Give me Monopoly Slots without the stupid maximum 10 spins and with the same payout as we had on the old one. I played that more than I will be playing this. I only do badges for Sudoku and most of my days have nothing completed.

  9. Another Sudoku game?????? I wish Pogo would put some fun games in their list and not just Sudoku or tile games. What a boring game this new one is. I don’t care how many badges you get on it, it’s not fun.

  10. Just letting people know that overseas based people can play this game – im in Australia myself.So it isnt like Scrabble – which has a licensing issue outside of Nth America
    Im a little on the fence on this one – its not a bad Sudoku game,but do we really need a 3rd one? I like the idea of earning cash even while you dont play the game – and collecting it when you load the game.
    For those “badgehungry” among us (pardon the use of your property Lura) – like Suz said ,there are a ton of game award badges for this game – so that should make people happy.

  11. this is not a game i will play i hate sudoku games, why not monopoly ,i will try it , when you miss a day of daily you are off track then messed up i agree with bingolady and anyone who hates this game

  12. It’s different and I find it fun. I like to get badges and I like sudoku.

    This game has about as much to do with MONOPOLY as Sweet Tooth Town does with the original Sweet Tooth. The characters are there, and that’s about it.

    The only challenge is getting enough money to upgrade the buildings, which I don’t really care about. I don’t buy the animal upgrades in Sanctuary nor the bits and pieces in Snowbird, so I won’t be doing much of the upgrades once all the stars are earned.

    At least it is yet not another HOG.

    • There aren’t going to be any answers, this is what Lura mentioned about it: No the puzzles are random so answers won’t help. You can use a sudoku silver if you need.

  14. I just went to look at it and there is no way I’ll ever play this game… I find Sudoku games to be VERY stressful and I don’t need more stress in my life… For those of you who enjoy such games, I wish you the best of luck…

    • Hi Darlin,

      There are quite a few sudoku solvers on the net. It is best to adjust the size of your screens so that you can have them side by side.

      Pogo has managed to put a popup on the game in MONOPOLY Sudoku (already mentioned above), but taking a pic on your phone, and filling in the available numbers on the solver from that picture works really well. And then of course delete the pic once you are done the puzzle. Who wants a bunch of undone puzzles in their gallery, especially if they don’t appreciate the game.

        • I just memorized a square at a time, only took me 20 seconds to get all the numbers into the sudoku solver using that method. I finished that hard puzzle in under 4 minutes.

            I love the game too! Can’t stop playing it. Just wondering when the airport is going to open up. Do you have any idea? I love all your input on the games.

          • No idea, but keep your eye on the blog post from Pogo Sconnie every Tuesday. Pogo used to call it the Insider, now it’s the Construction Zone.

            I really don’t think they will open the airport until they fix the issues with the game. There are people who once they got 128 stars they got a green screen and can’t play at all.

  15. One of POGO’S better doings. Perfect blend of Sudoku and Classic MONOPOLY. The graphics and game design are wonderful, colourful and easy to play. I was not a really big fan of plain Sudoku or MONOPOLY until POGO brought out this version. NOW I AM ADDICTED TO BOTH.

  16. I played a couple of puzzles, pretty sure it won’t be on my normal playlist rotation, lol. I never played Sudoku ever in any paper mode, I’m a words person not a numbers person. I actually have somewhat enjoyed Pogo Sudoku (on Easy) for some badges but I wouldn’t play PDS at all if it weren’t for the BH answers. Not even sure I’ll play this for weekly badges, we’ll see.

    • I think that is what is scary to a lot of people – the numbers. But it isn’t actually a numbers game, it’s a logic game. You can play it with different kinds of pie (9 kinds of pie sounds fun!), or puppies, or jewels. I’m surprised no one has done that, actually.

      I remember the first Sudoku we had on Pogo, Sudoku Puzzle Blast – with the rat/mouse in his hard hat, and all the different cheeses. That was more easily played as a jigsaw puzzle, and the numbers were just background noise.

      • I guess I’m not logical because while I’ve never cared for Sudoku I used to love the Picture Logic games, both B&W and colored, at Playtopia. Go figure. 🙂

      • I agree that it is not MATH (an ugly word for some people). There is no calculation involved. It is more like a jigsaw or even more like mahjong, where you have to figure out what pieces to move.

  17. I like this game. In the beginning of the game a pop up shows up saying “Go to the Leaderboard to compare your score to other players” I have clicked everywhere in the game an can’t find where the “Leaderboard” is. does anyone know where it is? Thanks

    • I too wondered about the “leaderboard”. I would also like to know if there is info on how much rent the different upgraded properties collect.

      • I can’t fine a leaderboard either. So totally frustrated waiting on the airport to open…….why release a game that stops your progress after a week?

        • There is no leaderboard in the Pogo version of the game. They just forgot to remove it. Pogo Sconnie posted about this in the forums.

          If they released the 2nd part of the game before they fixed the problems they would get raked over the coals. And we don’t even know if Cool Games has more content ready for the Pogo version of the game.

  18. I spent a good hour poking around and playing. Not the game for me.
    However if 1 puzzle =1 game, then the upcoming badge for 30 games can be done by doing 30 Beginner puzzles which are really quite easy. Still, I’m going to let it sit and pair it up with something in the future.

    Note: I also had trouble trying to sit the Sudoku Solver and the game next to each other as Bronze mentions above.
    I’d be interested to know how others are doing it. Thanks

      • Thanks. I finally noticed that Dino had suggested that (above) and gave it a try because I was curious to see what credit I would get for an “expert” puzzle. It worked well!
        At least I have a good way to get the puzzles done now if I need them for a badge in the future.
        I can’t see myself getting excited about playing this for fun or just to progress in the game.
        But I am glad to read the some BHers have found that they really enjoy this game – Good Luck!

        • Of the game board and then the solver with all numbers filled in so I can then put those numbers into the game board

  19. No one mentioned anywhere that at the bottom of screen is a timer , so you ca go back every 30 minutes and get reward , I doubt if I will play , as I did not enjoy Monopoly as a child , but at beginner level it is pretty easy

  20. I do not understand how to minimize one screen next to another.. side by side or whatever. can someone please help with that? I usually double browse when i do pogo suduko and badge hungry because I am not good at that game at all

    • Vrymoody71, you are doing what they meant: Make the screens smaller so you can see them side by side. When you double browse (I’m assuming on one computer), you are doing it.

    • Hi vrymoody71,

      You need to open both chrome and Edge (or either one twice), and adjust the size of the screens by dragging the bottom corner until both browsers are nicely lined up beside each other. Have the game in one and whatever else you need in the other.

    • Not stupid Question, I have been wondering about a few things that come up when you play as well. Such as how to invite and play with friends and where do find the leaderboard? These are comments that come up from while youre in the game

      • I suspect these 2 things – the leaderboard and a cash bonus for playing with friends was a carryover from the facebook game – they dont apply to the pogo game.
        Pogo was just too lazy to stop those hints coming up

  23. I am halfway through the 76 in-game (not the 10 rank) badges and the going gets slow from here on. As I get more wealthy, I notice my car is more expensive to repair, my kids are going to a more expensive school, and of course my property is more expensive to maintain. Fortunately, my aunt’s jewelry is appreciating at a rapid rate too. If these things don’t make sense to you, that means you are not yet addicted to this new game.

    • Now that I read this I really know this game is not for me. I’ve never been interested in this type of city/farm building game. But good luck to everyone who is getting hooked on it, lol.

    • LOL – good one, Fadedwildrose! The daily amount went up drastically from yesterday! Is that an individual amount, dependent on how much you’ve built so far? Mine went from $299k (or maybe it was $275k, as Suz mentioned above – I have a terrible memory) all the way to $674.5k today!

      • I think it’s based on the number of properties you own, and what buildings you have erected on them. My daily goal is $798,000 on each of my accounts today. I have been upgrading their properties exactly the same so far. I’m going to mix it up today and see how that affects my daily goals tomorrow.

      • My target was $757,000 today, and it paid back $560,000 when the treasure chest opened.

  24. has anyone noticed any strategy benefits? is it better to fill up properties as you go, or buy as many as possible and then fill them up, or ?

    im really liking this game, it’s almost like the sudoku part of it is secondary.

    • It is however you wish to do things with the buying, etc. I’ve kind of been keeping them equal, couple of them aren’t…It’s just however you want to play

  25. Yes Suz, it is 128 stars. That is the sign at the end of the street past the Boardwalk colored property. I don’t know about the 75 and 100 stars because I don’t have them and all the others have appeared on that sign through 50. Past the sign, through the fog I can see an airport. FYI: for the first brown property when I upgraded to what I thought would be the 5th red building (which took 8 hours to build) what I got was a blue building. That is apparently the last, as there is no upgrade arrow over the building.

    • I finished and got 128 stars. A pop up of the monopoly man came up saying wow, you did it! You managed to turn this city into a successful monopoly. Well done! The fog went away and the road is opened but nothing new yet to build, so I’m assuming they will eventually add new levels. At least I hope so!

      • After I finished a game a sign on the airport now reads: $50,000,000 coming soon. So will work on making money for when it gets here.

      • Oh my goodness, I’m going to slow down – had no idea the game maxed out at 128 stars. I had visions of this turning into a “Forge of Empires” type thing, boo hoo!

        Well I hope they add different cities for us to complete, in the future. If they could incorporate dice for us to roll, maybe for a bonus, that would be very cool.

        BTW, I think it’s funny all the vehicles are going only one way, it looks like everyone is leaving the city, ha ha.

      • I was looking to see if anyone had any ideas on how to get past the Airport.

    • I noticed there’s a little pull-down menu, in the very upper left corner. To the right of your user name (under where it says “City of”) there’s a question mark. A green house, red hotel, and blue tower (?) are listed there with some corresponding star values. Maybe this is something that will grow in the future?

  27. Sudoku Solver is not just a tool for getting through a puzzle. It can give an explanation for how each step is done. That makes it valuable for learning — either the basics or honing your existing skills

  29. I am in the US and am unable to get the game to load. I’ve been trying since it went active on Tuesday.

    • Have you tried clearing cache and/or another browser?It’s working just fine for me and I’m in the US

      • I used to have a problem with Flash games, but now that Pogo has eliminated Flash, I don’t have a problem with any other games. Just this one won’t load.

  31. For Caren’s wonderful tip of how to keep the numbers and replace the chance cards to try for better ones, it is also possible to exit by using up your 3 lives because you get those lives back when you re-enter the game. I have used this okay at all levels.

    • You also get credit for your chance cards when doing that. I had the badge active when I got lousy chance cards, and when I hit the home button I got credit for them, even though I didn’t complete the game.

      • DO the chance cards stay in the same position? in other words, if the first card you had to pay insurance, will it still be in the same position when you redo it?

        • Yes, all the chance cards stay in the same place, no matter how many times you restart the puzzle.

          • Yep, the cards do stay in the same square, however if you click say the middle card and get the -4000 one or any of those negative ones and then click the house button to leave and then go back into that same level and click the middle card again it could be a different card(and it was for me when I did that), that’s what Lizz was asking about =)

          • I misunderstood what she was asking. I thought she wanted to know if the chance cards stayed in the same place.

            But I’ve had the same negative card appear 7 times in a row when choosing the middle card. On the 8th try I got a lottery win for over 300K, but it made me work for it…lol

        • Nope, I just clicked the middle card and lost 4k and then did that trick, went back in and clicked the first card and got it again

  32. I’m addicted to this game, but I there’s one thing that’s driving me crazy and costing extra time: In the “notes” mode, the numbers in other squares don’t disappear when you’ve discovered a correct number, so I have to take time to erase them so I don’t get overly confused going forward. Also, If you get all of a certain number, you can’t erase the superfluous numbers at all!

    Other than that … this one is addictive to me! LOVE IT!

  33. All I am doing are the puzzles each day to reach the daily number. Right now I have a total of 903,300 in money in the upper right corner. Otherwise, I have no idea what to do to play the Monopoly game. Are there any instructions anywhere to show me what to do? HELP, lol

  34. As I’ve said this isn’t a game I would play regularly but I have played several games because I want to be familiar with it in case I decide to do some badges or at least weeklies. I finally figured out what y’all have been talking about re: the Chance cards – do those squares first! lol. It’s still awkward for me to use the solver with this game, with PDS I use my iPad propped up with Lura’s answers but it’s more difficult to do that with this game. I guess I should try split screen.

    I’m wondering what folks are using for a Sudoku Solver. So far I found one I like but wonder if there is something better.

      • Thanks, Ryz, that’s the one I’ve been using, lol. It’s large and clear so I’ll continue with that one.

        While I did a couple of medium and hard I’ve been mainly doing the Beginner because I don’t need a solver for that on, I can sit in my recliner with my iPad and plunk it out. When I get so I can do that very quickly I’ll move on to easy. Anything else I’ll use the solver.

  35. Hi all, I’m still getting used to this game as I have not spent a lot of time on it yet (been busy working on my old M&M games so I can finish my albums.

    That said, I like Sudoku and I can easily solve a beginner puzzle using my head and probably harder puzzles. I did find a Sudoku Solver for Expert which worked great. I don’t know if I’m allowed to post it here.

    Basically I took the advice of others and I took a photo using my phone of my screen of the Expert Puzzle, then I put the Pogo game on pause and brought up the Solver I found in which I filled in all the numbers that the Expert Puzzle showed from my phone, then I clicked “solve” which worked great. So then all I had to do were copy the numbers from my phone to the Pogo Sudoku. I had 2 windows opened at the same time.

    I did manage to buy a property, I don’t know what it’s called as I didn’t write it down. The Sudoku part of this game is fun, I don’t truly understand the Monopoly part of it unless it just to buy properties, collect rent, and make money which I do like!

    So those are my thoughts right now. I’m sure the more I play the more I will understand and appreciate all the aspects of this game.

    • How do you keep from getting the ‘lives”..i use the snipping tool, and its great, don’t cover up puzzles but trying to figure out the “red lives,, IM dying too fast lol

      • If you aren’t putting the numbers where they go correctly you lose a life, though I did find that if you click the house button and go back in that they’re all replenished

  36. So a couple of newbie questions – (1) if you get a good score, do you use a star to double the score? If so, how do you earn more of these stars? (2) It says you need to earn 25 stars before moving down the street. I’ve been at 25 stars for a long time and even though I’ve built more houses and upgraded, my star value is stuck at 25. I’ve clicked on the billboard and the 25 stars but nothing happens. Do I just stick with it? Or am I missing something? After reading all the comments, I will try the trick with the chance cards tomorrow. Like Suz, I played 9 games in a row and got the same card where I had to pay out $9,600 each time. I have not been picking a second card — should I? How do you earn more stars if I do? Thanks for any advice you can share.

    • Double the score is with a “use” button, not a star and this choice to use does not regenerate, but would need to be purchased with gems. The star count is shown at the upper left corner. Stars are collected when you complete an upgrade and after construction phase is complete you click on the green checkmark that appears above that property.

    • I’ve been getting the error on and off for days. Sometimes I get the rent even though I get the message, but other times I don’t. I actually just lost over 300,000 rent on each of my accounts, yesterday I only lost 60,000 on each.

      A friend opened her chest this morning and her reward was zero, obviously an error.

      • Just an update on this problem. It appears to happen once you own the 8th property, Park Place or Boardwalk 🙂

        • I’m leaving the last property with the check mark. I bought a house but I’m not clicking on the check to finish the construction. So far I haven’t had any more errors. I plan on waiting until I have enough money to upgrade it so I can keep it in that state. Last time I needed 20M.

        • Its not Fixed here…lost 280,000 just now…my 3rd recorded loss of the day.
          3:30 AM, 9:10 AM, 1:40 PM all times mentioned were times that i was to collect on the Blue property.

          • It’s not fixed here either…my 2nd loss when trying to collect on the blue property as well.

          • Sorry it’s not working for you. The only suggestion I can give you is the one I wrote in the forums last night…put it in construction and don’t take it out.

          • I have 2 properties on blue, I use Chrome, and when I click on the COLLECT button , I get the error. However, if I “x” out of the pop-up, then I get all my moneys, in both my total and daily total. I don’t click on the money bag when the blue property is ready. I just get out of Mono Sud and get back in and X out of the pop-up. Is this working for everyone else?

  38. I know it’s just been available for a few days now, but has anyone come up with a successful routine they follow to get tasks done in here? Like what you do 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and so on?

    I think maybe I want to concentrate on opening the prize box each day, collecting rent, and building something.
    The amounts are so high! I’d appreciate some sort of “formula” to get through on a daily basis.
    Right now, I’m going helter-skelter and am not “seeing” a successful routine forming.

    • Everyone will be different I’m sure, but I go for the prize box and I try to upgrade evenly-ish…Right now I’m probably going to wait a while until I have more monopoly money to upgrade and maybe upgrade a couple or 3 at once- I also normally only do the beginner level as it is so easy for me and I actually have found I like the game and it gets me thinking/relaxes me, though once in a while I will do an expert level or 2, it just takes a bit because I screenshot the game board with phone then input numbers into the solver and so on, makes my arm and brain kind of hurt a bit doing that though, lol

      • Thanks for explaining what you do. I figure everyone will approach it differently, but wondered if there wasn’t some sort of formula or steps to take that would get it done most efficiently, but I guess it all depends where you are in the collecting/building process.

        People have left great hints and tips and I’ll use them all….thanks for sharing.

        I no longer have to use the “take a picture” method. With a little practice, I got good at sitting the screens side-by-side and being fast enough to avoid the overlay – as Electric Tiger mentions (above 7/14@3:33)

      • Just note that you get no rent for a property that is under construction. Best bet is to start construction after you get all your rent first thing in the morning so it counts toward the daily challenge. Then come back after your construction is finished )any where between 2-10 hours) before you go to bed so you will get full rent the following morning. When you get to higher levels, you get !,750,0000 or so for full rent so it gets to where it really help-s.
        Oh, and I noticed that it’s worth getting your rent when you can, because a property won’t earn more than one set of rent (the amount you get during one eaning period (anywhere between 30 minutes to 4 hrs) so leaving rent until all properties are ready will lose you rent if you are online to get it.     • It is at 128 stars. There are 8 buildings. I haven’t hit the 128 yet but it seems that all 8 buildings have to have all the houses and hotels finished. The final building is hard though. I am at 3 hotels on it and its already costing 45mil for an upgrade. Hope this helps.

    • Airport comes out of the cloud cover after you reach 129 stars and finish the properties. Now At first there was nothing to do there, now it shows a green up arrow and when I click on it, it shows $50,0000 “coming soon” so I guess they’ll roll out upgrades sometime.

  41. I figured someone who hit the wall days before me would report in higher but maybe because I do not play to build or for rank; instead, I am playing for those in-game badges. I have finished 75 times on all levels. My lottery win is 3,450,000 and my latest late aunt provided 1,795,000, may she rest in peace.

  42. What is the incentive to play further on, after winning the daily goal?
    It takes long enough to achieve, so is there anything to gain?

    • For me that’d be a sense of accomplishment, though I play even after hitting the goal as I like the game, otherwise no there’s no incentive unless you want to buy all of the properties and just play to rank or for fun

  43. I did a few this morning, beginner and a couple with using a solver. I’ve realized what it is that bugs me most about this Sudoku. I’ve been playing PDS for so long and I’m used to clicking on the square and then adding the number. This is just the reverse and it’s bugging me. Many times I’ve put in the wrong # and lost a life because I clicked on a square when the previous number I used was still highlighted. It just seems backward to me to have to click the number first and then click on the square. I don’t think this will help my reluctance to play the game. I’ll do the weekly using all beginners without a solver, it’ll probably be faster for me.

    • You can click the square and then input the number, just make sure no numbers are highlighted

    • Just click the yellow number, and it will go back to white. Then you can click on the cell first.

    • I click on a square first then type in the number on the keyboard.
      I do make sure there are no numbers highlighted below the board.
      When I use a sudoku solver, I do each nine letter block at a time.
      I start the first block going from 1 – 9, then the next coming back 9 – 1.
      If you run your finger along the keyboard as you are counting up and
      down you do not have to look at the keyboard to know which number
      your finger is on.
      I also use this method with Pogo Daily Sudoku and Lura’s answers.
      When doing PDS, I do the two green boxes first then the 1 – 9 routine. 🔢

    • Thanks everyone. I will try to remember to unclick the number I just used so it doesn’t stay highlighted. I’ve been doing more beginner and easy puzzles without a solver so I’m using the brain to figure out the right numbers and forget to check if there are any highlighted before I click on the empty square.. I guess I’ll have to use the old brain a bit more, lol.

      And, Jay, I do find myself working more in the smaller squares in this game than the other Sudokus, at least in the ones I do without a solver. It does seem easier that way.

  44. I decided to try it again and it is not bad as long as I stay in the beginner stage. I tried the solvers but they are more work then I want to invest in this game. I managed to get the daily amount plus I have built 4 houses with one now working on a hotel. I only wish they had made the numbers 2 and 9 more different. A couple of times I guess I did it too fast and mistook the 2 for the 9 but other then that should have no problem getting the 20 puzzles tomorrow. As far as the M&M’s go I will just have to wait and see. At least it is 10 times better then PDS.

    • I’d bet there’s quite a bit available in each as there’s many ways to have the numbers so you’re not getting any repeats for quite some time(though I honestly don’t pay attention)

  46. Maybe I’m just not seeing a way, but I had to intentionally lose so I could start a new game on a different difficulty level. Does anyone know if there is a way to restart without losing intentionally? Also will badgehungry be posting answers for this monopoly sudoku?

    • To exit the game, click on the house in the upper left, next to the ?. If you pick the same difficulty you will get the same board.

  47. I am a fan of Monopoly but this is the lamest Poly game I have even seen! Really? Who builds on property without knowing how much rent will be collected? Only at Pogo! I was ranked out on the original Poly, but I have no desire to play this version. The sudoku is easy enough but 3 sudoku games at Pogo is overkill. And then Pogo plans to honor us with the Daily Sudoku as next Wednesday’s badge, so another 18 games of sudoku next week. If I had more than 2 thumbs I would point them all down for this latest release..

    it will take me a long time to rank. But I am still on rank 0 and 206 rank points to go. LOL.
    No way can I play any harder puzzles. I am not a fan of Sudoku so really dislike the daily
    ones but thanks to Lura’s answers, I can manage to get through those.
    What rank have some of you gotten to already? I do like the in game awards.

    • I pay no attention to rank progress, as I am totally focused on the 76 other in-game awards (one of which is not possible until the airport opens). So far my main account has 62 of those awards and is at rank 59.

  49. How do we invite a friend to play Monopoly Sudoku? There is an info screen that quickly pops up when you start the game and one of those screens says earn PERMANENT REWARD for inving a friend to Monoploly Sudoku.
    What is the reward and how do we claim it… Might be a nice help to reach the dailytarget prize.

    • That is not part of the game on Pogo. It is a message for the game on another site, and Pogo just didn’t remove it…just like the notice about the leaderboard that doesn’t exist on Pogo.

  50. Finished the 128stars and got to the airport. NOTHING to do there… game message just comes up saying congrats, you made a monopoly… Is there no level two or different destination? Anyone know what I’m supposed to do next… is there a next?

    Property #1 (Brown) – $46,000
    Property #2 (Light Blue) – $92,000
    Property #3 (Violet) – $138,000
    Property #4 (Orange) – $184,000
    Property #5 (Red) – $230,000
    Property #6 (Yellow) – $276,000
    Property #7 (Green) – $322,000
    Property #8 (Dark Blue) – $368,000

    It works out that it’s just 46,000 times the property number 🙂

    • Suz, are you sure about the dark blue property? I am getting 432,000 on the Dark Blue property with the 5th hotel on it, for a total of 1,720,000 for all 8 properties first thing in each morning.

      • There are some that are having that problem. When I said it was fixed everyone started yelling that it wasn’t. Just b/c a few of us got lucky, it is a major problem. Just look in the Pogo forums.

      • I get that same amount and if you wait 4 hours because it takes the dark blue property that long to rotate you can collect another 1,720.000 if you are not playing.

          • Well I waited to collect rent on the Dark Blue property and guess what, unknown error and I lost the 432,000 plus other millions at other times. If they are working on the problem they are not doing a very good job.. It seems you can lose the rent whenever you try to collect or play the game.

    • It is however you choose to do things…For me personally I’ve built up each evenly then I decided to finish a hotel or 2, it’s just a personal choice on how you want to do things =)

    • The more you upgrade the more you receive on the chance cards. And obviously the rents you collect increase also.

        • You only get stars when you build. You get 1 star for a green house, 2 stars for a red hotel, and 4 stars for the blue tower. Your stars show in the upper left corner of the game.

  53. Any idea when there will be an update? I’ve reached all build levels on the first set of houses/hotels. Now waiting for the airport and what come after. I’ve hit the 128 stars, but do I need to play a certain number of games?

  54. I have tried different levels and have decided for the most part to stick with beginner. I can do it very fast while staying relaxed. When I put the numbers in I will click on number 1 ( and keep it highlighted) and fill in the card with all the ones. then go on to number 2 keeping it highlighted I go thru and place all the 2’s and so forth. \This approach is working great for me. I also go thru all the buildings that have been built up and get the stars each day. So far I have not gotten any error messages. but will remember what to do if that starts happening

    • There isn’t one, they forgot to remove that verbage along with the play with friends as well, wasn’t mean for this version of the game, but was for the facebook version or wherever it had come from

  57. When I have gotten a bad chance card I have tried exiting out and re-entering and I end up having to re-enter all the numbers I had already done and I still get the negative dollar amount card….it is in a different position!!! Help what am I doing wrong? I click on the house at the top left

    • I enter a number on a chance card first, then if I don’t like it I click the house icon in the game and go back to main screen then go back in, yes sometimes you will have to do it a few times but to me it’s better than paying for another chance at a card and not getting much money(I only play beginner as it is)

    • You aren’t doing anything wrong. Sometimes you have to exit 5 or 6 times until you get a good chance card. There are 3 different cards, positive and negative, most times when you start over.

    • Just remember the number you had imputed when you got the chance card and just put that number in first. That way if the chance card is bad you can go out and try again. I have had to do that numerous times sometimes to get a good chance card.

  59. For those wondering about the maximum moneys earned:

    I currently have over 2 billion on the first page of the game…..if you go to the running total page, Im now at a negative 1.5 billion.

    I continue to get the daily objective and rent and it continues to add onto the total on the first page.
    Every time I play or receive rent, the running total page loses moneys.

    Hope this made sense!

      • There isn’t a cap limit. From what I’ve heard the Pogo stats screen can’t accurately track after a certain point but the game itself allows well over 100 billion so have at it.

        • I have reached the magic limit of 2,147,483,648 BUT whatever I earn above that limit disappears. Every time I go back into the game again, it retreats to 2,147,422,760. If I play enough to open the chest, it announces that I get the grand total of 0 dollars. I get the error message after every single game. I guess that shows Pogo is working on it since it got worse.

          • Hm, guess what I heard was wrong 🙁 Sorry that’s happening to you, because with a fat wallet like that it’s obvious you enjoy playing the game!

          • On the bright side, I’m not losing money and since I am making rank progress, I am hoping that I am also making in-game award progress. And yes, I do love sudoku. A booklet form of sudoku was my habit while waiting in doctor’s offices with my husband’s frequent visits there.

          • Yep!! In-game awards are working — I just got 250 expert. And who needs more than 2 billion dollars anyway!

  60. Well I lost money again with that error message on the screen that states an error has happened and please try again. Trying again doesn’t do any good so I contacted EA on chat. Maybe I should have called instead. Even after explaining the problem the person still didn’t seem to understand. It is frustrating as I really like the game. I wish I kept a record of how many times this has happened because they have done nothing to fix it.

    • Pogo is aware of it and will work with Cool Games to fix it. But Cool Games doesn’t have a very good reputation for correcting problems in their games, so it may be up to Pogo to fix it themselves.

    • Not really, but if you get a bad chance card you will have to fill in all the numbers again if you leave the game so you can change it.

  62. I know some other people are just getting the solid green screen, after it says “loading”. I have tried different browsers, and clearing my cache, but not help.   63. This may have been shared before, but this is the way I’ve found my best results (for rank and $$):

    I play a game on EASY (used to play only BEGINNER, but after reaching 500 games there I decided to move on up). I don’t care what the CHANCE numbers are, because I know I’m going to replay the game. I get all of the numbers except for 1 last number (anywhere on the board). I don’t care how long it takes, I’m just solving the puzzle carefully with no wrong guesses (OK, maybe 1 every once in awhile, but who’s counting?). As soon as I get all but 1 number on the grid, I take a picture with my iPhone, then I exit (click on the little house at top left and QUIT), and reload the same game (just by reloading EASY). I immediately fill in the CHANCE numbers and keep restarting until I get the BIG numbers I want (sometimes multiple times, but it only takes seconds since those are the only numbers I’m putting in). I then finish the game very quickly by filling in the numbers from my iPhone picture, thereby increasing my trophies won and rank points (100 game points = 1 rank point). I guess you could say I’m my own solver program…:) Anyway, this works for me and after I get all of the in-game badges for EASY I will go on to MEDIUM (and I should be a lot more experienced in playing the game once I get there). Another thing I did was watch a few videos by Mr. Sudoku (Google him…he’s fantastic!) and I picked up some great pointers that helps me play better. Hope this helps someone else. Happy Sudokuing…:)

    • You can still play the game and can collect rent, just can’t build on any new properties until Pogo releases new content, whenever that’ll be(I’m hoping soon)

        • David, I feel your pain. Same with me, solid green screen. Can’t play to Rank-up, collect rent, get in game badges or build up bank to buy properties when they become available. IT SUCKS!! Been 4 days now, and hasn’t fixed itself yet. Keep your fingers crossed that it will get fixed soon. No one has given any hints yet to fix it. Tried 4 different browsers, and cleared cache. Nothing helped.

          • There is a post in the forum where they want some info for those having trouble so they can pinpoint and fix

  65. Did they fix the problem with the 8th property? When I opened the game this morning all of my rent was collected

    • It’s working for some, but not others. A friend took her 8th property out of construction, but after 4 hours all she got was an error message, no rent. She now has that property back in construction. She made sure she had enough money to do that if it didn’t work.

  66. Only time there is a problem with the 8th property rent is when I attempt to collect it individually. Wait until there are multiple rents to collect, log out of the game, and go back in. All rents will be collected.

    Also, this game will not play on Firefox for me.

    • It didn’t work for me as I got the error message. When I logged out of the game and then went back it no rents were collected. This is a problem that Pogo & Cool Games are going to have to fix. Soon I hope.

  71. I think they are working on the problem and they have made it worse. I have blue in construction, everything was collected then I played a game and got the error message! So it seems like just playing a game doesn’t work, I don’t know if it is all the time because I got disgusted and left the game.

  72. I think it is fallacy to assume that the blue property is the cause of the errors. I have two accounts at maximum cash, and both get the error message after every single game whether or not rent is due, and although one has blue in construction and the other does not. I suggest that the problem could be a dollar amount, which of course could start when far enough along for the high-priced blue to become involved.

      It hit me when I was playing the game that you had refereed to 126 stars not 128.

      If you have the 4 Red hotels and 1 Blue Hotel on all your properties then you should have 128 stars. I found contacting Pogo/EA Customer Service very easy when I wasn’t awarded something in this game.

      I clicked on Community then Contact Us from the Pogo home screen, selected PC, Technical Support then Game Progress Issues.. I got the Get a Call option, filled in my information and support called me in less than a minute.

        • I was surprised today for all the times I collected rent not once did the error message come up. I even got the maximum amount including the dark blue property without that message. Can I believe that maybe they got that fixed? Other then this problem it is the only one I have ever had. Now if they can only get the airport available soon I would be extremely happy……..lol

    • I have two accounts stuck at a constant number. 2,147,474,510 for one and 2,147,475,450 for the other. No matter how much I appear to earn while playing, these accounts go back to these numbers next time the game is entered. All property purchase is done.

  77. Here I thought that the dreaded error message had been fixed especially since I haven’t gotten it in a number of days but I am afraid not. It showed up again and I lost $1,400.000. I am at that point though I don’t really care anymore as I am close to 1 billion dollars and without an airport opening soon doesn’t seem to make much difference of the money. I do like the game but I am getting close to not playing it anymore. Seems no point since there isn’t anyway to move ahead. What a shame.

    • Can you please explain to me how you accumulate so many coins? I can’t seem to get anywhere. As soon as I do build some coins, I have to upgrade and it takes most of my coins. This game confuses the heck out of me! But for some crazy reason it grew on me and now I’m into it!

        I played for hours and hours every single day for the first week the game was out. By that time I was almost finished building so I just collected rents and opened the daily chest. Now I’m just collecting my rents until the new section comes out.

    • Whenever Pogo releases them, keep an eye on the construction zone blog though, they will announce it there I bet
