  1. One of my favorites! Finished the first 10 levels. Will do others later today.

    • I am trying to complete level 14. I got the 8 butterflies left and won the game, but for some reason I am only getting one gold cat. any suggestions as to why I am not getting the 3 gold cats if I won the game?

  2. I completed it but I cannot get 3 stars on level 2. I tried so many different ways using lots of power ups but still can’t get that third cat. Any advice or hints would ne so appreciated.

      • The way I got 3 stars on level 2 was by creating and combining two cubes repeatedly. Create two cubes next to each other and combine them.

        • Deldiva…I started out matching 2 hypercubes. I used the steed. Hypercube with star and flame gem. That was the only way I managed to get 3 stars.

      • I had to do it twice…the second time all i did differently was I added mousatches as a first move…then the Steed then like hypercube + hypercube.

        • Thanks a million….I’ll give it a try since I’m soooo stuck on Level 14; have tried to get 3 stars at least 10 or more times(LOL). It is my last obstacle to getting the final win for the cat.

          i did this and won 13 and 14 and then i shared and it didnt work, i tried it four times, lots of power ups and it never worked again.

          first mustaches, then steed, then two hyper cubes, x 2 and their were not many mustaches as before, and it didnt work, then i did
          it again and made flames and cube, and better but not much,
          then i did it again,
          and it didnt work.

          • That’s exactly what I did on a few levels, actually did it on level 2 where you needed 375,000 points for the 3rd star.

            I used the moustaches on all colors, used the Blazing Steed, then matched 2 hypercubes (did that a few times to get score up), and I ended up with 3 stars.

            I played all 15 levels the same, went in guns blazing, and the only thing I paid attention to was the score. If you clear everything before your score is high enough you won’t get 3 stars.

    • I played level 3 without using any power-ups and made it pretty easy. Reading the comments here, I decided to go back and see if I just got lucky getting it on the first try. I played it once and got 357K, then again and got 386K.

      All I did was focus on making star, flame and hyper-cubes… I didn’t waste any moves to specifically set any of those off…. except the hyper-cube when I could get it next to a flame gem. Eventually, the board will trigger a lot of them naturally, and the more you have intact at the end of your game, the better your score.

      P.S. I’m currently stuck getting 3 stars on levels 13 and 14. I haven’t used power-ups on any levels and I’m determined to complete 3 stars on all levels without them… unless I get to the last day, then I may give in before it’s over. lol

  3. I will be tackling this event. I feel more confident going into the event, because of the help from the members here at Badge Hungry. Also have worked my way up to the level where I can buy Power Ups with coins, and can use them to help me along the way. Have fun with this event if you are doing it.

  4. Sure hope you all have played often enough and far enough that you have plenty of coins and can buy a liberal amount of power-ups. The badges finally say season 2 instead of season 1.

  5. I have found that a way to sometimes get a higher score is to make quite a few power-ups (flame and star) around in the field before making your last winning move. When you win, all remaining power-ups will auto-detonate raising the score as if you had made that many individual moves.

      13 has so many butterflies and
      14 has many butterflies under gravel.

      since there is a badge ill try again.

  6. level 13 was the hardest for me. and I am still trying to 3 star level 14. For those with issues on Level 2, it is a little annoying if you don’t get the right cascades. try to match 5 in a row to get a hypercube and match it with a flame gem a couple of times. that is how I 3 starred it. if you are having trouble making the stars, do the same thing but with a star gem. hope that helps 😉

    overall, i find this to be the hardest stars event thus far…altho it’s doable. It seems to be using all the levels I struggle with LOL.

    I started the “EVENT” with a little more than “85,000” free coins. After I won all “15” levels, I now have “75,992” free coins because I used alot of powerups. I also earned “3” stars on every level except level #13 which required deleting “55” butterflies and I just do no’t know how to create so many butterflies. BTW, I earned so many free coins because when I have nothing to do, I replay level #2 until I have earned thousands of free coins. Good Luck “Everyone”!

    • Butterflies will not propagate in a spot where is a power up in the bottom row, so avoid making or leaving them there.

        • If you get a power-up gem in the bottom row, try to set it off to free up that spot for a butterfly to come into that spot. Clouds can be moved from spot to spot by double clicking.

  10. I’m stuck on Level 5 please If any one could give me any tips I would appreciate it
    I have got 3 stars so far on each level

    • I am stuck on level 5 s well ~ Help please!! I didn’t get three stars on level 1 but I think I will be able to go back and get it.

      • Level 5 has a narrow cloud strip along the top of the right side that can be moved to the top of the bottom right side. Be sure to make as many flame/star gems as you can on the left before making any on the right. Once you’ve made all the moves you can, try moving the cloud so that the flame gems will fall down into the right side boxes.

    • Same here.. Did fine 1st 4 levels, but stuck on level 5 no matter how often I;ve tried

  11. Just a suggestion to everyone. Put the game on your daily to do list, and just play level 2 to build up your coins. If Pogo keeps giving us an in-game event every week we will be seeing the same game every 6 weeks. And you need coins to buy the power ups.

    I’ve already restocked the power ups in both of my accounts. I have my 2nd account back up to 10,000 coins, and mine are around 45,000. But I will do at least 500 a day on each. I never want to worry that I don’t have enough to blast thru an event like this.

    And for anyone that still hasn’t reached level 125, that should be a priority. Nobody should have to spend money to earn a badge…ever!!

    • I hear you, Suz, I really do. But I am stuck on level 61. There is no way in hell I can get all those butterflies with just so many moves. I do so well for awhile and then they just gang up on me. So I always give up on these events, especially when butterflies show up.

      • Use the Flutter Gust power up, or hit them with a hammer. You can buy both of those power ups with gold coins where you are.

      • butterflies can be hit with a hammer. and its not counted as a move.

      • I made a move then used the hammer on them, rinse and repeat, sometimes made 2 moves so more than just a few came up

    • Couldn’t have put it better myself Suz – especially that last bit about having to “pay” for a badge lol

      Just my tip for lv 2 – match the flame gems last.To build up your score,match a hypercube with a star gem a few times.Obviously use your powerups – but before you create your star gem,look at the color that appears the most on the board – create a star gem on one of that color,then obviously create a hypercube next to and match them together.Sometimes a star gem will be left over after that,so just create a hypercube next to it and do it again.After you have built up your score,then lastly match a hypercube with a flame gem to get your flame gems done.

      • Sometimes rather than picking the most color to make a star gem, you may want to pick a color which has one lined up with every row of obstacles (such as stones). That way when you set off the stars, you blow out a row of obstacles. I often use the detonator power-up to set them off.

    • Suz, I did that about a month ago, when you answered my question about having so many coins. I now have enough to play comfortably in lots and lots of games!. Thank you, Suz, you’re a gem!!

    • And, just to add to the above suggestion by Suz, divide some of your coins on a regular basis to stockpile some power-ups and also save. If you play #2 for a bit as a daily chore and also while talking on the phone, it adds up fast…lol…and I head to the store and my coin savings account with those coins – dividing them up – spend some, save some. I’ve done well over time.
      I do this because my fear is that they will pull out an “economy change” in a future game update, like they did in STT – which stopped us from earning anything on replays and starting charging gems instead of coins for extra moves. I never try to progress in STT anymore – my town is a ghost town now. I want to be able to continue to play and have fun on Bejeweled Stars

  12. I play this game every day also and have managed to keep my coin level at 140,000. That gives me plenty to use for these special events.

  13. What should I do to have the blue ball (it is used to explode several Gems) or how to pass level 7 Thank you!

    • the blue ball is created by a cascade of crystals, i call panes as they break like glass, but stones wont break. when you are having many crystals falling this creates the blue ball, and you just hit it. and it detonates any that are ready

  15. I am on level 13 and have played so many games and used so many power ups and I can’t get it all. I don’t even know how to get that many butterflies. let alone stone and hats!!!

  17. Level 2 was a total nightmare for me. I had bother getting up the points to get 3 stars. I must have done it a dozen times before finally getting it.

  19. I, too, need some guidance on how to get 3 stars on level 14. I used almost all the coins I had trying different combinations of power ups but only have gotten to 2. Using the regular level 2 strategy to build up the stash again, but would like to know how many I’ll need to get the job done! Thanks all!

    • Level 14: I reloaded a few times to have at least 2 holes with the same color gem; then used tile swapper to make the 3rd hole the same color. Next made that color gem a star elsewhere on the board, put a hyper cube next to it, and swapped the two. Using the detonator then blew away much of the wood to give me a lot more gems in the field to make scoring easier.

  20. I have 3 stars on everyone except #13. Can anyone tell me how to get all those butterflies?

    • The Levels with all the Butterflies are tricky.
      I use a few turns and make the best matches I can.
      Meanwhile, more and more butterflies are coming up from the bottom.
      So make sure to keep the bottom of your board clear.
      Then I blast the board (my preference is placing 2 Star Swappers, side by side).
      Blasting the board really increases your score too.
      I use a few more turns so the butterflies accumulate again
      (making the best matches I can during each turn).
      Then I blast again.
      Use this method until you have reached your goal for removing butterflies.

      When there are Wooden Tiles on the board,
      always make sure to match your gems next to the wooden tiles,
      in order to eliminate them (or take off a layer).
      If you don’t…it is sort of a wasted turn/move.

      Never end your game too early.
      Even if you achieve your goal of removing everything you are supposed to,
      you will probably not have achieved enough points to receive 3 stars.
      Stretch out your plays before making your final move.

      I can’t stress these next points enough:
      (1) You can never have too many coins, so play Level #2 and stock up!
      (2) There are 2 milestone Levels to reach in the game:
      – When you reach Level #90, you will be able to purchase the Star Swapper power-up
      with your free gold coins.
      – When you reach Level #125, you will be able to purchase the Hyper Swapper Cube
      power-up with your free gold coins.

  21. I pretty much went in as Moms mentioned, “guns blazing”, and blasted my way through it. I have a very healthy stockpile of power-ups and coins, so it didn’t bother me much to use them.
    However, reading this thread, I see some fun and clever strategies people used. Kudos! I was busy blasting and not busy strategizing 🙂
    If this is going to be a regular feature event (like every 6 weeks as it has been lately) I’ll be smarter about it next time. Level 2 and Level 13 were difficult!

  22. I can’t get past the board where all of the gems leave and I have stones with no gems. One cannot crush stones without gems with any type of PU. So, I don’t know what to do. It’s happened playing it twice.
    What can I do? Can anyone help me? It’s number 5 that I’m stuck on.

    I’m also debating on finishing Sweet Town for June because I went gold on the constellation. my first gold. I didn’t even look at them in the beginning and then I got bronze once and silver twice. Now, I’m gold and am 2700 pogies over and still counting.

    • Just remember that if you don’t complete them by June 30th that they will disappear and you will never to be able to complete them.

    • #5 has a cloud for the top row on the right. You need to double click on the cloud to pick it up and move it to the top of the other half on the right. That will allow gems to move down onto the stones.

  23. This event is similar to the last one they did on Bejeweled Stars. I didn’t complete that one and I it doesn’t look like I am completing this one either. Just doesn’t hold my interest.

  28. A few days ago I completed this with 3 stars on each level. The first time I played I only got 2 stars in 3 different levels (I think it was level 2, 13, and 14) so I went back after reading all the great tips here and then I got the 3 stars.

    I’m also taking Suz’s advice about making it a point to play Level 2 everyday to build up my coin stash. Thanks Suz!
