Challenge Quest: April ShowersA new Club Pogo Challenge Quest starts April 6. In this event there will be three weeks of expert Challenges, including an extra-hard Master Challenge. If you can complete three expert Challenges plus the Master Challenge, you’ll win a new Limited Edition Badge (awarded after the event ends).

A Pogo Challenge Quest has two parts. First, a Master Challenge which can be completed anytime during the three weeks. Second, there will be three “expert” Challenges. These will all be free. If for any reason you do not want to complete a expert Challenge, you will be able to purchase an alternate corresponding Mix-n-Match Challenge for that week to complete instead for 40 gems so you can still be eligible to win the reward.

  2. ok, not too bad.
    I have a question: The last few times that there was a Trizzle goal of “Match 5 dolls in 1 move” we had to set each of them up as the game was not counting the 5 dolls removed in 1 move that were occurring naturally in gameplay. Does anyone remember that changing? Or do you think we will still have to set up each 5 doll match? (because 250 of them will be a pain).

    • It’s not counting the dolls, such BS. How is this badge going to be possible to finish? Not sure what you mean by setting it up with 5 doll match.

      • They no longer count the 5-matches that occur in gameplay, like if you have the spinning doll cause a 5 -match.
        Now you have to set-up a 5-match on purpose. An example would be that in a column you have two blue at the top, two blue at the bottom, and then slide a blue into the middle for a 5-match.
        Blue – Yellow
        Blue – Green
        Green <- Blue – This is the blue you would slide in
        Blue – Green
        Blue – Yellow

  3. Week 1 doesn’t look bad but I’m so tired of Snowbirds (Surprised there’s no Quinns) so going to sit this one out lol.

    • Well, thank goodness it’s an EASY Snowbird challenge–just win the game and you don’t have to have “X” number of cards left! Many times I have won a game with the last card. Whew!!!

  4. Ugh! Alternate badges are way cool and in games I like! Not good!
    Am I gonna have to buy them???!!! lol

    The snail one I just have to have it ! I love snails So is definitely a Yes!
    The other 2 I will have to think hard if Yes or No. I like the games not so much the badge/image.

    Usually for this kind of event I pass on the alternate badges because, whatever it is and no matter the excuses, I still think 40 gems is excessive for a simple/regular Mix n Match.
    But if the badges are pretty and i really really like them, I get 1 or 2.
    I don’t know what to do this time. Decisions Decisions.

  5. I think they could have done better then badges that say Quest 1, 2 and 3 but make better badges for 40 gems each but then you get less Pogis. I would think if you pay 40 gems you should get more Pogis. I may or may not decide to do Trizzle or Snowbird and if I don’t I am not about to pay 40 gems for the alternate badges when I rather save my gems for the Desert Badges coming up on Thursday. Getting a reward of a badge does not mean enough to have to play games I don’t like.

  7. I wish they would make the requirements for winning these badges different so we didn’t have to slog through the same level over and over again because it’s the fastest and easiest way to win a game. If, for example, they would make the requirement to achieve a certain number of points (which are useless anyway since we don’t get tokens for winning anymore) you could play levels you needed to progress in the game without having to worry about winning it yet still achieve the badge.

  8. Even though Pogo calls them Mix-n-Match Challenges I was able to activate other MnMs for
    both Sanctuary & Cookie Connect.

  9. I may be in the minority but I was looking forward to at least one Rainy Day Spider challenge. Sigh.

    Disappointed.

    • I was hoping also for a Rainy Day Spider Challenge, so we may be in the minority but even so, it has been a long-while since challenges have come our way in Spider.
      ( At least the overall badge is cute)

    • I don’t care for Sanctuary, either, but I completed the Challenge pretty quickly just playing Level 1 and switching to level 2 for variety.

  11. Thanks Pogo for the free badges with free pogis! All the challenges are easy (though Trizzle will take more time compared to others but is still doable with a little patience). Looking forward to Snowbird Solitaire.

  13. yeah, trizzle isn’t so bad. it seems daunting, but if you stick to the mantra ‘eyes on the prize’ and not actually try to win the games (just stick to the goal) you’ll be fine.

  14. Trizzle was easier than I expected. Did not take long at all to complete this challenge.

  15. Finally finished that beast (Trizzle). I only did the small and medium size and averaged from 6 to 8 every game but it still seemed like forever to finish. Hopefully it will be awhile before I ever have to play this game again.

  17. I finished the Trizzle challenge, wasn’t so bad. It just takes some patience. Like Shelnick I average between 6 to 8 per game.

  19. I’m officially Trizzled-Out again…lol. It was kind of fun to play with making 5s for a bit, but that got old in a hurry.

  20. Completed the Quest on my 2nd account and received the Limited Edition Badge. But it is NOT a Limited Edition Badge. It’s just a Special Edition Badge, just called by the wrong name.

    Pogo created the names for their badges. Why can’t they keep them straight? We can!

      The Pogo person who created the badge categories is probably long gone. 👉
      I don’t think Pogo employees stay there long enough to figure out what is going on.

        But they have to have a manual where all this info is written down. You just don’t throw everything out the window.

        I read the latest construction zone and it sounds like the GOTM Badges will no longer be coded as M&M. Why????

        • And it reads like if you don’t finish the GOTM badges within the month they disappear, you can’t save them to play later. 🖼poof!

        • I can’t believe that after the forum thread on this issue of what is a Limited Edition Badge as compared to what is a Special Edition Badge that they just went willy-nilly ahead and are calling them what they want now, not what they have always been. Crazy!
          About the New Construction Zone message –
          1) I’m actually kind of glad about the changes to GOTM because it means that they won’t be delivered in gifts anymore so we have a better option when it’s not a game we enjoy without having to avoid gifts all month, Also, if there is a fast/easy GOTM badge we can do it for the badge/Pogis, but not have to worry about doing all of them.
          2) I’m not as happy about that same change as explained for marathon badges because it means we can’t save them to do them at our leisure – we have to do them in the time frame or lose them. However, it also means we don’t have to worry about “wasted Pogis” – either we do the marathon in the time frame or we don’t. My jury is still out on this change, but I’m leaning toward liking it.

    • Suz, when I completed the alternate mnm badge yesterday for the Challenge Quest a badge popped up with the name May Flowers Bloom Badge.

      It went into my Special Edition Badge Album but there is not description displayed with it in the album so I can only assume I got the badge for completing the Challenge Quest.

      That name (May Flowers Bloom Badge) does not even agree with the badge name Lura has listed as the reward in her post for the Challenge Quest. So who knows what is coming down the pike.

      I feel so lucky, I had the pneumonia shot a few years ago and have not had it since. I used to get it every year.

    • Agree on the badge names, Suz! But badge criteria is questionable too. Today’s issue for Cross Country – Welcome to Washington D.C. has been a regular and is now a platinum.
      regular will give 300 pogis for finding 900 objects
      platinum gives 600 pogis find only 800 objects

      • I swear they have a dart board and that’s how they figure out what the challenge for a badge is going to be…lol

  21. Hi Suz, welcome back, I hope you’re feeling much better. It’s good to see you here and know you’re back in action. 😊

    I will have done all the badges except for Trizzle, I just can’t. I even bought all the alternates for 40 gems because they’re in games I like. It’s good because I’ll still get the Quest badge, whatever they decide to call it, lol.

    many newbies
    in chat
    didnr know what to do

    so i was teaching and playing.
    i liked it
    at 750 levels there are no more advances or stars until
    pogo decides to do it…im 659

  23. Well completed Quest 3. It didn’t take as long as I expected and received the May Flowers Bloom Limited Edition Badge or whatever it is called……….lol

  24. I completed Quest 3 and the badge with Olivia is very pretty…. April showers bring May flowers…

  25. FINALLY done with the May Blooms badge! Of course the last challenge would be Snowbird, my least favorite game. 🙂
