Yes it was good to see Suz getting a mention. I was also pleased that Lura and BadgeHungry got a mention also. It really made my day.
My favourite part of Pogo is BadgeHungry. 🙂

I agree totally, I thought it was great that Lura, Suz, and BH got a mention. I never got to know Pogo Llama and with that said she sounds like a sweet and really nice person.

Favorite things:
Pogis have sort of re-peaked some interest in the site for me. As well as the HD games coming.
So right now those are my favorite two things about the site at the moment.
Really looking forward to Pogo Bowl and hopefully more to come this year.
Still on the back-and-forth of resubscribing every year though. I wish they’d give us a larger roadmap so we knew what was coming. Maybe a 6-month roadmap so we knew what to look forward too. Thank god we have Badgehungry’s coming soon list because it sort of gives me an idea.
Off-topic(ish) note:
It’s sad seeing Llama go. I hope she has a good future ahead of her. I understand her wanting to go somewhere that perhaps she could advance farther at though as Pogo seems pretty linear these days.

I have always loved the friendships that have developed over the years on Pogo. Of course I love the badges and playing many of the games also.

What do I love most about Pogo? Well, let me tell you.
I love the feeling of accomplishment after completing a hard to do challenge, I love watching members helping others, and I also love that Pogo is a place for me to go to escape from my daily chores of caregiving (sometimes I escape too much!). Pogo helps me relax and forget my troubles when I play my favorite games.
I also love Badgehungry and all the work Lura puts into it as well as the other members who take time out to help and give advice. Thanks Lura, you are much appreciated!
Happy Valentine’s Day to all (even if your valentine is your pet) and have a great weekend!

I agree with everything in DeeVermont’s Post.
Couldn’t have said it better myself 😉
Happy Valentine’s Day all and
Thank You Lura for this wonderful forum 💕

What I love about Pogo is it’s always there for me. It helps me with my anxiety problems. I also love the challenges and the feeling of accomplishment you get when it’s finally finished.
I love Badge Hungry. I so appreciate all of Lura’s hard work. It certainly isn’t easy with the situation we’re all in. Our BH community is made up of wonderful people. They are so helpful and kind.
Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe!
Happy Valentine’s Day!

I agree with Cher, Pogo helps me a lot with my anxiety, I certainly appreciate Badge Hungry & the peeps who help us with figuring out games & badges, it is much appreciated!!!! I’ve never been a big chatter in Pogo so I haven’t made a lot of friends thru it but I feel a part of a community here. Thank you to everyone & stay warm safe & healthy!!!!
Happy Valentine’s Day!!!!

I also agree with everything Cher said, and about Pogo helping with anxiety problems! It’s there for me when I need it, and I love playing games I like, especially solitaire games and card games. Thank you Pogo, and Badge Hungry!!!

Right now I’m liking (loving?) that I can still get back to classic for things easier done there than the cartooney site. Not happy about Pogo_Llama leaving (there goes our help) but it was great to see Lura, BadgeHungry and Moms get a shout out. I’d miss so much were it not for you guys.

I love that Pogo is there to occupy my leisure time. I love that it challenges me to learn new games and new strategies for old games. I love that Pogo offers a variety of games in a variety of genres, so there’s always something to enjoy playing and easy to have many favorites. I appreciate all the different ways Pogo offers challenges to choose, play, and earn.
I love that Pogo brought me to Badge Hungry. The community here has always been filled with lovely people who are strong and dedicated players, willing to share their hints, tips, and game knowledge, always supporting each other in Pogo and personal matters.
I love that Pogo and Badge Hungry have introduced me to many new friends ♥

I love being challenged and collecting badges for challenges met! And I like having a variety of game types to play, so I don’t get bored.

I love that Pogo is much more flexible these days. In the past it was almost impossible to get an answer to anything, unless you were on Badgehungry and got the answers here!
Question: I’m interested in finding out how some people get hundreds of thousands of coins on Bejeweled Stars? Are you playing different games than I am? 🙂
Have fun, everyone!! 🙂
MomsBassetHound says
I did all the ranks using level 2 and did all the badges using that level if possible. That got me to about 140,000 coins. On my 2nd account I hit rank 90 yesterday and have about 90,000 coins on that account.
I just sit at night while watching TV and do level 2. It’s only 3 moves and I can do it almost without looking 🙂

Thank you, Suz. I’ve been using that one, but not as much as I should I guess!! 🙂

Pros: I love the Daily Challenges and thought they were a great idea from the get-go. I love the in-game events and rewards for playing certain games daily. I love that they got rid of the cheap-looking “Light and Fun” Flash games that no one ever played. I love that they are continuing to develop new games for Pogo (even under COVID conditions). I love that we have people in India and at-times, Texas, the Forums, EA Help, and here, BadgeHungry, who address all of our questions and concerns about all things Pogo at all hours of the day. I love that they have stayed neutral politically. I love the Pogo community. And, I love the badges the most; no surprise there (although the art isn’t nearly as imaginative or clever as it once was).
That is the #1 thing I love about Pogo: They’ve really upped the opportunities for earning badges. Wowza!
As of now, I’m desperately trying to keep up with all they are throwing at us, and am digging that my badge count keeps going up, up up!
On Sunday, I will post a summary of the cons.
I’m wondering if Storm is still updating the Special Edition Badges section of BadgeHungry. Thanks.

I love all those things too, especially dailies and the many, many free badges they have given us. I also love that I can earn gems and powerups through Pogis. I usually get them on the first two tiers, but not the third tier because I don’t buy many badges.

Pogo is my medicine. Badgehungry is the directions. When I first started in 2004, I was a supermom. It helped with stress. A little quick escape. Now it prevents boredom and loneliness now that the kids are off on their own. Soon it will be to keep my mind sharp as I age. But mostly, its like a dear friend. A companion for breakfast, lunch and supper. In 2020, we all needed that.
RyzandShyn says
Amen to that! I am really happy I had Pogo during all this COVID staying at home.
Of course, I could have exercised or learned to bake bread or organized more closets/drawers than I did, but Pogo has been more fun and a better distraction.

What I love about Pogo !!!! I appreciate all the help from Lura, Suz, BH and Pogo Llama, and all the wonderful people who helped me, but I also like the new Pogo giving us the Pogis. Without earning them and going through the tiers to earn rewards some badges I could not win. A Big Thank you to all.

Pogo has always been a place where I could escape to and forget some of the tensions going on which I have loved. I also love coming to Badge Hungry and am very thankful to Lura for having such a site for us. Also that the people who are here are always willing to help or give advice as to how to acquire a badge. This site is the reason that I have been striving to acquire more badges. Thank you. Have a great weekend everyone.

BADGES!!!
No matter how rotten the day is going, I can sit down, put my feet up, enjoy my games, and get a badge. A minor accomplishment in the big picture, but an accomplishment all the same. My own tiny bit of validation in this crazy world.
I also really enjoy all the contests that they have going all the time – it gives me something new to look forward to, almost daily.
Thank you Pogo!
Thanks BadgeHungry for being there for us all with the information and the help and the companionship of friends with the same goals!

Pogo forgot to show their Valentine love today. We did not get the usual free platinum badge that is usually gifted to pogo members on the 14th of the month.
