  1. When you rerun a level to increase you stars, you do not get red roses. Therefore I intend to maximize the red roses for each level first priority over winning and 3 stars. 300 roses in 15 levels calculates to 20 roses per level and I am behind that average because I did not realize that there were no roses on repeats — unless that is a glitch that will disappear.

    • You only get credit for what the goal was for the level, no matter how many roses you match. For level 1 you only get credit for the goal of 16 roses.

    • Level 14 is impossible to win and it is the only one i lack Think they planned it this way!!! Pogo, Slack up!!!!!!

  2. Hopefully everyone worked their way up to level 125 so they can get the good power ups with gold coins. You may need them if you want to earn both badges. I did it last time without, but who knows what will happen this time. And since the power ups are free it can be fun to blow the whole board up.

    Here is the entire list of power ups, and when you can buy them with gold coins…

    Flame Swapper – After level 6

    • Heck, I am struggling to get past level 6. Level 5 took me 27 tries, maybe I am doing something wrong. Any hints?? Never had a problem with this game before.

        I get stuck at level 5. Don’t get the point of this level with those gnawed nails either.
        This is not a fun game. And I also think that not everything is right, suddenly red blocks appear between the roses. Maybe I’m struggling for nothing and much more is wrong?
        Valentine is to be nice to someone, right?
        Who knows how I will progress, please tell me, because the normal is a fun game

  3. I had a pop-up that said that I won 50 roses, but it did not show an advance on the rose meter on the left side of the field. So I am getting out of this game assuming that Pogo needs to fix it some.

    • I think they meant to say “You’ve accumulated 50 (or 150) roses,” not “won” in the sense of an extra reward…coco

    • I went to a different account (where I don’t care if I miss badges) and noted that the announcement of 50 roses is not awarding 50 roses but saying that since I had collected 50 roses I was awarded coins and power-ups.

      • ok! all done on my lesser account. All roses and all stars, both badges. The only trick that I think is needed is to figure out which power ups to use where. I even used some mustaches which I hardly even have done before. Still have over 300,000 coins so am set for the next one.

    • The pop up doesn’t say you won 50 roses. It says that you earned 10 flame swappers for collecting 50 roses.

      the last bejeweled event was hard…

  5. Hi all, I have a question about Level 5 in this event. It is necessary to first try to move the gems on the right side so the left side which has those shoots or openings go to the right side?

  6. I’ve played 3 Levels. I think the event was designed to separate us from whatever accumulated power-ups and coins we have. Getting 3 stars/cats on each level is already a challenge in the first 3 levels.
    I’m sure there are players more clever than I that can finish without using a bunch of power-ups, but I need to blast my way out with power-ups.
    I’m not sure if I’m going to go further. I’ve worked in there every day to up my totals and I’ not too keen to blow it all on 1 event.

    • I used accumulated coins to buy power-ups. Level 5 I needed to buy a Hyper Swapper which I was able to do since I finished level 125 thanks to Suz.

      I’m not great at this game but if I finish level 5 (the only level so far that I used coins for power-ups) then most anyone can do this event.

      • Thanks, Dee. Yep, I was being overly pessimistic and suspicious. (oh brother!)
        I went in and gave some more levels a chance. I’m up through Level 7 now, and it’s not as bad as my start on Levels 1-3.
        I play in there every day, so I’m somewhat confident I must have learned at least something about how the levels work, and I’ll get through it.

    • In all honesty the coins aren’t good for anything else. And as you increase your rank, or work on a badge, you will earn more coins.

      • spend your coins on the flame swapper and use them to get to the end. I think i bought six of them. Now i am stuck on 13

  8. That was quite enjoyable. Finished all with 3 stars on first try except for level 14, had to do that one twice.

    • Please help with Level 14, cant collect enough to win, i get the Butterflies but not enough for the rest thats needed

      • What helps is making special gems (flame gems, star gems, hypercubes, etc.). If you have gold coins use the power-ups, if you don’t have enough gold coins keep playing levels 2 – 20 over and over as each level will give you 20 coins.

        To learn how each power-up works I clicked on the question mark at the bottom and a pop-up screen would appear with an explanation of what each power-ups does as well as how to break gravel, stone, etc.

  9. Well, that was fun!!! I really enjoy this game anyway, and this is a great way to spend Tuesday before badge day tomorrow. The only level I had to redo a bunch of times, was level 14. I finally finished all of the levels with 3 stars. 🙂

    Now I to spend the rest of Tuesday building up my gold coins again. 🙂 I enjoyed this event tremendously!!

      • I’ve done it over a hundred and can’t get more than 205,000 points 2 stars. I have managed to get 2 stars on all the others. Also when I use some power ups the board gets a shadow on it and I cannot even tell what colors the gems are. Took a screen shot of it but BH won’t let me post it

    • Yes…yes…yes!!! I’m stuck on level 14 tooooo!!! I played and have continued to replay that level. Help!!! What is the key to winning this one. Again, HELP!!!

      • How did you win 13? I’ve tried all power ups and used over 4000 coins from the beginning of the challenge. HELP! Lol

  10. i am not very far in rank in this game ,played bs all day cant get pass 5 ,i will not buy power ups for this so i guess it is not good for me ,why do they make things so hard i think i only at level 49 so not 125 like others,where are the power ups we got for free

    • You have plenty of time to get to 125. You don’t need to have 3 stars, just get thru the level.

      Any power ups that you earned with Pogis will show on the right where all the power ups are. But you probably won’t have enough to get thru all 15 levels.

  11. I have completed all the levels with 3 stars apart from level 14 where you need a score of 22000, I have 2 stars in it so far. Does anyone have any hints on how to make a high scoring move, power ups are not an issue.

  14. HELP!!!! Level 13 I cant get three Cats. Please what do I need to do or what power ups help to get the 3 Cats Please..that one to me is the hardest one to do….Thank You…appreciate the help <3

  15. Level 14 trouble? – I went back in to see if I could remember what to do.
    Try this:
    1) Determine what gem you have the most of above the stones
    2) Make a gem next to one of them a hypercube
    3) Make the gem you have most of a star
    4) Swap the hypercube and star to make all of that gem stars
    5 )Detonate two stars that are next to each other
    6) Work your way down to the bottom by eliminating stones that are left by taking advantage of hypercubes and stars ( I didn’t have to buy many more as they came i the game naturally)
    7) If you get all the stones pretty quickly, the butterflies will take care of themselves and you can end with 3 stars/cats.
    Hope this helps.

  17. I like the game and I like the red roses on the boards, I’ll vote they keep them forever lol.
    But the levels are quite challenging, Level 3 and I’m already stuck! lol
    Seems like no matter what I do I always have this one rock left on top right corner and when I’m ready to blow a flame or star gem right there everything moves and my special gem goes down!
    Seeing like we only have 6 days left I hope I finish in time!
    well, Off to keep trying 😉

        Was ready to use the hammer but got a nice board and beat the level without using it.
        But now my hammer is all set and ready to smash any annoying stone or obstacle 😉

    • Click on the ? while on the level and it will take you to the part of the instructions that pertain to that level. It has the best set of directions of any game in Pogo.

  19. Okay, I finished this event with 3 stars on most levels except for 2 levels. I don’t know if I will go back and redo those levels for the 3 stars.

    My biggest tip is that you need a good board to start with in order to make special gems (flame, star, hypercubes, etc.). I also bought power-ups (very confusing to which power-ups to use) with the coins I already had. I bought lots of hammers, blazing speed, tile swapper. I think I used the hammer the most.

  21. I am stuck on 13. I get the red roses and stones — but am then left with more butterflies than I have moves left, or not enough butterflies to get 45.

  22. I am on level five. I finished four levels and got credit for them. Now, when I return to Bejeweled I don’t even see where I get credit for anything. Furthermore, I can’t even get it to show that I am working for the badge. I have tried, repeatedly, to go to the Bejeweled Felis’ page…start the game. Nothing! It is like I won’t get to play the game no matter what I do. OUCH!

    • i cant get the 3rd star in level 14 since you made it to 15 can you give me some advice about how to get star number 3

  25. I’m having trouble with level 7. I don’t get the jet streams and I can’t get any (or many) of the stones. Argggh ~ I love doing the events but I just don’t get this game. I’m only at level 60s for I don’t have all the power ups. Help please. I did see the suggestion of using the flame swapper so will try that.

  26. I have 55 butterflies for sale…CHEAP! Also, nine caterpillars…OK, I liked about the caterpillars. Just butterflies.
    Bring a net.

  27. i try to do the event .. some thing i found out
    if you place your mouse over the items you do for each level located below the score you see hints to get the items .it help on level 3 …. when you place your mouse over the roses you see rose highlited on the screen and work with other ones below your score

  28. Getting there getting there! 🙂 I think I’ll have enough time to finish the event in time.
    But level 13, I’m stuck again, been there for 1 entire day, tons of replays! Too many butterflies are needed and we only get a couple with every move I think, not enough bugs on the board, result is I run out of moves before more butteflies show up. Not much to do do except keep trying 🙂

      If you have flame gems or any other special gems on the first line of the board they effectively prevent butterflies from entering the board. Keep the bottom line completely free of any of the special powerups and the butterflies will come –

    • As Suz suggested, I used the hammer on level 13 for some of the butterflies. I’m now stuck on level 15. Got some more coins and bought some power ups so going to see if I can finish it. I do have two levels with one or two stars and not sure if Iwill try to increase those. Good luck to all and thank you for all the assistance.

  30. I finished level 15 and I cannot find level sixteen. I have tried restarting the game..and still, no level sixteen. Is there a trick to get to it? PLease help me.

    • I figured it out. I didn’t have 3 stars for level 14. I have spent two days trying to get three. I AM SO DONE WITH THIS GAME. i HATE IT. No challenge should be this difficult and long. Pogo has managed to make me hate the words ‘good; excellent’ and roses. I will never look at a butterfly the same way again. Thanks, Pogo you little cactus you.

      • Lori, I totally agree with you. I have been trying for hours at a time since this began to get that 3rd star on level 14 and I can’t do it. It is impossible without using power-ups and I’m stuck at level 57 in the regular game so I have to use gems to get the hypercubes and star gems in the hint above. I’ve tried several times and even using the hint I can’t get that third star. I’ve used almost all of the gems I get from the constellations and I won’t pay actual money to buy more. So I guess I’ll have to leave this unfinished. It’s beyond frustrating!

  31. I am stuck on level 13, every time i get to the end or a butterfly gets out, it ask me if I want to use gems to get more plays, but it takes my gems without me saying anything. It has happened 5 times. I am losing all my gems. please help.

  32. I can’t get past level 5….how sad is that. How many times do you need to hit the stones
    for them to count….seems like I have been all over them but not counting. I guess I just
    don’t know how to play this game. Don’t think I’ll be getting this badge. Add it to my Quinn’s
    unfinished vault.

  33. Butterflies: If you have a lot of various color butterflies in the bottom few rows, you can get them all with one single move after using the Blazing Steed (horseshoe) power up. Beware that you can use that power up ONCE during the game.
    High score: One level that I had trouble with I ended up using the mustache power up on several different colors and then side by side hypercubes to blow the whole field.

    • Funny, I needed the high score and I ended up trying the mustache power-ups as I never tried them before and sure enough they helped as well as the Blazing Speed power-up to achieve the 3 stars.

      For Level 5 I had trouble in the beginning because I was concentrating on each side (there are 2 playing fields) which was my mistake.

      Play the game as a whole instead of separate playing fields and try to combine 4 gems to make flame gems, 5 gems to make star gems, etc. Sometimes you just need to keep losing in order to get a good starting puzzle. Take your time and just concentrate on making those special gems.

  34. I am so done with this game – have played for over 6 hours and can’t get past level 13. Have used way to much of my gems. Its not worth it.

    • You should try and get yourself to level 125 in the regular game. Then you will be able to buy all the good power ups with your gold coins. And you can just replay level 2 to earn the gold coins easily. Then you will be prepared for the next Event.

  36. Level 13: use power-ups ( star and hypercubes) to run the score up and blow the stones.. The butterflies are tricky. Be sure to move the cloud around often and repeatedly. Do NOT allow a power-up to remain in the bottom row un-detonated as that prevents a butterfly from coming into that spot — use the detonator or hammer. The hammer is good for the stray butterfly too. If you are near the end and have enough butterflies scattered through the bottom few rows, but not enough moves to get them, use the blazing steed power up to collect them all (or the more expensive side by side hypercubes elsewhere).
