I’m ranked out WCS and play it if it’s a daily. Someone on the forum said that once you’re ranked out, there’s no stamps to be earned. I never paid attention. If true, it’s a badge I can’t earn.

I too am ranked out, so I went and played to another city. My passport opened up and gave me stamps. I do not know what would have happened if that passport had been full.

Both challenges are pretty straightforward – just play.
If you do the Weekly Special in Daily Sudoku, then the 3 “medium puzzle” days will take care of 3 credits.
I did read a forum post by someone who is concerned because they believe that if a player is ranked out in World Class that they don’t/can’t earn stamps and so they were wondering how they could earn the badge.

Both should be pretty easy challenges. Would be nice if we also had a heads up on what the Polar Palace games would also be… Just hit 14,000 badges today.

For WCS, I “set up” an easy stamp by choosing a destination with 6 stars and then playing until I win enough stars that there’s only one left to earn. Then on Wednesday I only have to earn one star to get the passport stamps.

For PDS I just use Lura’s answers and play 10 puzzles.

These should be easy to earn, I just wonder what they have in store for us with Polar Palace this week if the regular weeklies are so easy…

The most a location will give is 3 stamps, so you will still have work to do on WCS.

I’m well aware of that. I apologize for not being as clear in my comment as I should have been. I should have phrased it that it’s much quicker to have 5 of 6 games already won to get a head start so that you only have to win one game to get three passport stamps than to have to win 5 or 6. That way you only have to play one more city to get 2 stamps and you’re done. By my math it is quicker.

The badge is for 5 Passport Stamps. 6 stars will give you 3 Passports Stamps so you will have another 2 Passport Stamps to get. I think you are mixing up stars and stamps.

No, I’m not. Last night I played a city that gives me three stamps for 6 wins, but I stopped after I won 5 games (attained 5 stars). On Wednesday, I will go into WCS and open that city where I already have five stars leaving me one more game to win to be awarded three stamps. To me, this seems like a head start! I only have to win one game to get three stamps! Then, all I have to do is choose a city that will give me my final two stamps. Then choose a city that offers two stamps.

I don’t understand why this seems to be causing so much confusion. I guess I am not clear enough in my writing and should go back to lurking instead of posting.

Captiva007PI : From the weekend thread: I missed your post, but saw it in the last 100 comments so I hope you see this 🙂 Yes, we are still getting WS puzzle badges; I received two today (WS 150 No Mistakes, WS No Power Ups 150). By my reckoning, if you’ve played every puzzle every week, we’re only at week 20, so another 10 and we’ll earn the WS-30 badge! Hope this helps! coco

For me this is a boring week. PDS will be easy considering Lura supplies the answers. Thank you Lura. WCS will probably take me longer. I have 2 stamps ready with just one more win but the remaining 3 will be harder. to finish especially with having to win 4 games just to get 2 stamps.

    Hi Ev1,
I set up World Class, 1 more win and I get 3 stamps pulling into Hong Kong… Whew! My arms are tired, hahaha. I’m not very far in rank progress, and earning the game awards… I wonder if anyone still remembers the routes suggestions that used to be on the WCS page b4 it converted to HD, I thought. I have a few times run into where the last flight doesn’t connect into the city I started at, so no world tour completion. 😛
An easy week, GL in all badges EV1, Tom

Hi all, I don’t have any strategies except for what daxmomma said as far as setting up WCS ahead of time.

I do have a question which is when do you shuffle the cards? Sometimes I shuffle in the middle of the deck, sometimes at the end. Just curious as usual!

    Thanks in advance,
    Dee

I don’t ever shuffle until I have no moves. So it would be at the end of the deck for me.

I only shuffle when I have no more moves as well. I’ll stick to the end of the deck.

        Thanks! Dee
