A new holiday event is now available in Snowbird Solitaire and will last until January 4. During this event, Christmas-themed supplies will be available to buy in-game.
To get to the holiday supplies, open Snowbird Solitaire, click Play, then the Supplies button and the holiday supplies will be available in the Holiday tab.
If you spruce up your island with holiday decorations, you will earn a bonus badge.

You do not have to buy all the holiday decorations to get the badge. I played all the 32 levels for the weekly badge without buying any decorations. When I finished that, I purchased the last item (tree), placed it and the badge popped up. So the only decoration I purchased was the very last one. Not much into decorating…lol

I finished the 25new levels at the Docks and got the tree badge, very pretty. I used a lot of poinsettias in my decoration. 🙂 I still have 27 more games to do from the weekly but did my DCR badge first. I love both games but because of everything else going on I hadn’t played DCR for awhile.

How many?
I know we have a whole month but I’m not sure I will have the time to go through all the levels to “unlock” all the Xmas supplies..
Is a busy time of the year without even counting all the Pogo activities, marathons, events, badges and everything.
If I win a couple levels to unlock a couple items only and place them in my island would that be enough to earn the special badge? Or do I need to buy at least one of each?
Does it need to be “Greenery” only as specified in the badge requirements or other objects count too? (I think the first one is a sleigh)
Do we have to put items in every “open” location within the island or is it enough to decorate one spot only, for instance the Beach only?

You need to get to the last item, the Christmas Tree, and only the items on the Holiday tab counts. You only have to decorate one location, but once you unlock an item you can use it on any/all locations.

I never understood the purpose of decorating in this game. Originally, I thought the decorations could wash away.

I ended up using all the different decorations and got the pretty tree badge. Now I have to start on my house to decorate for Christmas. I wish it was as easy as doing this badge………lol

I placed 5 Christmas Decorations and received no badge. Someone said you had to do 5 levels. Does if have to new levels not playing previously earned levels? This is very confusing in the Pogo posting. Thank You

You need to unlock the last Christmas item, the Christmas Tree.

Swimmdoo – you can unlock the Christmas holiday decorations just by playing the week’s Weekly badge. It doesn’t matter if you play new levels or repeat levels. You just need to play enough levels to unlock all the Holiday decorations. The Christmas tree decoration is the last one. I got them all just before I finished the weekly badge. Then I purchased the tree with my Snowbird coins and placed it on the game scene and the special game badge popped up.

I have earned 4 decorations, but when I go to place them, they disappear. Is there a specific area on the island that gets decorated? I have only completed the first 100 levels.

When you go to place an item it will show green if it will fit there, if not it will show red and you need to move it around.

I was almost done with the weekly, 30/32. when the last of the decorations (the tree) opened up to buy,
I purchased 1 of each of the decorations and put them on the Beach, and when I placed the tree, the
Snowbird Xmas Tree Badge popped up.
Now I have to remember to go back and finish the weekly.

How do I tell if I got the badge? Where would I find it?

While in Classic click on your profile and then the Badge tab. You should see it there.
Also, while in Classic, you can see it by going to your Special Edition Album, probably on the last page.
On the new site you can click on your profile, and then click on rewards.

I usually find Snowbird hard to do, BUT I used the levels that a member posted were much easier and he was right. Went much quicker. And several of them so did not take that long to find one hitting new game. Went back to my past posts to thank him or her by name but couldn’t find post as was a q while ago. Hoping he sees this post as wanted him to know how much it helped. Might be nice if that post was reposted so others might take advandage of the help. Thanks again.

Thought I might post what he had had. These are what he said was easier that I used. 1 tru 12,23-25, 29,33,34, 39,51-54, 67-69. Hope that helps as it did me. 🙂 Thanks again to whoever posted this.

Hi,
I am at 85 so I have to get lots of holiday decorations to get to the Xmas tree. I earned the sleigh and snowman. I am using those items to decorate my beach. I buy the item and place it when it turns green. One bird rides in the sleigh lol cute Then I click to go back to supplies and they vanish. Why is this happening?

You have to click the checkmark on the button on the bottom to spend the coins. If you go back to the game before agreeing to the transaction the items will just disappear.

Purchased the Christmas tree since I finished the entire new Dock set and the nice badge popped up., That put me over the 10K badges, was really surprised. Thanks to all who gave great hints every time I check this site. Merry Christmas to all.

Even though I am not a Christmas person this year since I lost my husband to the Corona Virus, I am loving all the Christmas stuff on Pogo. Badgehungry is even more special and thanks to Lura for all her hard work keeping us well informed.
