Yes, they will have things for sale. Imagine that, a business selling something.

And they never give the members a thing. Oh, wait!

They have given us 383 FREE badges since January. They started a new reward program in March that gives us FREE power ups and FREE gems. And they have not increased the membership fee in 12 years.

I don’t know, but I think they have given us plenty the past few years.

Woo hoooo Suz, great answer, You’re always so nice and patient giving answers, even when they are to questions that have been asked 82 times ( approximation ) and been answered here and on pogo.

Hope you, and e1, had a wonderful ( at home with family ) Thanksgiving, and that all are safe and healthy. S

PS I’m looking forward to 25 days of December. After pushing hard to hit 100k pogis last constellation, I was low on badges. Yesterday I would have been out if not for the new badges,…that I had to buy 😉

I’m a little slow on the draw here….. does something special happen if you reach 100K pogis in a constellation? I never really paid attention!! = )

On the last 2 constellations there were Milestone Rewards if you earned enough Pogis. They stopped it, and added additional tiers to the 3 levels instead this time.

I couldn’t agree more. I am so happy with all of the freebies, and then to have gems to spend yesterday and today on sale badges is icing on the cake. I just don’t buy badges at full price and I seldom buy gems. I am very happy with it all.

Nicely said, Suz. We have been getting a lot from Pogo, and they have been listening and making changes to Early Access based on what people have said. I’m actually pleasantly surprised at all the positive reactions they have had to customer feedback.
The best way to communicate with any business that you have dealings with is to show them through your participation – what you buy and what you don’t buy – and Pogo is no different. Feel strongly about something? Write a letter.
I really hope we don’t go into this 25 days of Pogo with multiple complaints stemming from an ill-placed sense of entitlement.

those that you listed are true Suz but what I said is also true … and for the few times that they put gems on sale are minimal compared to what is spent on gems doing various challenges is hefty unless you are very proficient in the games. Either way we both have valid points and it will be interesting. Hope you, your family and friends are all safe and healthy.

I will be totally honest here. Once I got thru the Tropical Tank in QA, and the 100 levels of Beach in Snowbird Solitaire…I have NEVER had to purchase a power up, or use 1 that I earned to complete any challenge, and I do them all.

The only power up that I’ve used in the last 6 months were a couple of the clones that I earned from the constellations. And that was only to save time b/c I do the challenges on 2 accounts.

If you take the time to learn how to play the games there is no challenge that can’t be completed without a power up. I can’t say that about levels in the games. I just don’t know. I rarely do that anymore with all the badges to be done on 2 accounts. But there are members that swear that they’ve done them all without power ups, and I have no reason to not believe them.

I only count on having 1 gem sale a year and stock up with enough to last me thru the year, hopefully.

But there is no reason for anyone to complain during the 25 Days of Pogo. They owe us nothing, and have certainly treated every single one of us quite well during the year.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Holiday Season!

          Suz

I guess that is all a matter of perspective.
A gem sale at the holidays only increases pogo’s profits and is helpful to many people that use gems

My heartbreak with it comes from not being able to play games I enjoyed playing to progress for ranks/levels/Game Award badges.
I don’t play some anymore because they’ve become impossible without power-ups and many of the power-ups are just too expensive:
Sweet Tooth Town, Crazy Cakes, Peggle Blast, and Cookie Connect are games I just don’t even bother with trying to progress anymore.
I play Jewel Academy and Jet Set, but no longer bother trying for 3 stars and the rewards that come with that on every level. I used to love replaying in those for 3 stars.
I purchased power-ups in Quinns, Snowbird, and Mahjong Sanctuary just to get to the point where I can play random levels for badges, but don’t work on progressing in them.
Yes, I can still complete every challenge in all of them, but the fun of just playing and progressing is gone from from some of the games I really enjoyed.

I also applaud Suz as well as RyzandShyn for their honesty. We have received so many free badges as well as power-ups (from the tiers of constellations). I for one am grateful!

            Happy Holidays to all,
            Dee

I totally agree with that statement Suz. I love Pogo been playing since the beginning. It’s certainly changed a little over the years, but I love the new HD version. The yearly subscription is definitely lower priced than other gaming sites. There are heaps of games that I love about Pogo. I buy gems & purchase lots of new M&M challenges.
        Happy Pogoing everyone!

Hoping for a sale on gems myself, as I’ve spent quite a few this year (lots more than usual, but then, 2020 has been a very unusual year)!

There won’t be a gems sale.
There wasn’t one last year with the 25 days of Christmas.
So don’t get your hopes up.

The last gem sale was only 4 months and 5 days ago (it ended July 24th) thus I do not expect a gem sale during the 25 days of Pogo:

Wreath Badges! I hope they will be as pretty as the Ornament Badges.
I also hope they use the same Sale, Gift, Ornament regime for each day. It’d be nice if they went back to having a Coupon Code as the gift on some of the days like they did in 2018.

I am really looking forward to the 25 Days of Pogo! I agree with Suz, that Pogo has given us many FREE badges and the new reward program is great — love getting free gems! I look forward each day to the Daily challenges and enjoy getting the free Pogis!

Good luck to all, and have a wonderful weekend! It’s nice and sunny here in Michigan for a change — until the snow comes on Monday/Tuesday!

during the 25 days of pogo, other holidays occur. i end up buying all the badges. but, it sure would be nice if it weren’t totally christmas oriented and gave more than a crumb towards chanukkah, kwanzaa, and the other holidays that occur this time of year

I liked it when we had daily deals, real “Daily” deals, when you had to wait to see what next day would bring.
It added to the expectation and it was more fun.

So I hope this event is more like in the old days and not like the more recent sales or events when you have different offers or sales or else all showing right away on day 1 and available for ‘say days’.

And sure enough I wish for a massive badge sale (with a big discount lol ) that includes all badges available in badge central at the time of the promotion (“except last release”) and not only on the same ol same ol back from the vault badges .
