I earned my first badge Star badge… looking forward to the badges and game awards ? soon
dottiedeedee says
I also received the Star Power Bg after playing a game. BUT i can’t find it listed anywhere to determine what its requirements are. Not under ALL badges, MnM badges, Special Edition, or Game Awards headings in Badge Central. Anybody find it?
RyzandShyn says
Hi Dottie
I found it under Dice city Rollers – Game Awards in Classic when I looked after winning it. It is for placing 1 star dice.
MomsBassetHound says
When you go to Find A Badge just plug in Dice City Roller & Game Award. Then make sure that you have both boxes checked. That list will include the badge you earned.

Well, I like it of course 😊 but I want to play with No Auctions, I hate the auctions. I played on Quick Play where you simply join a room. I see I can Join a Game and Can Filter not private and no auctions but very few people doing that so I guess I’ll keep playing in the Quick Play until more people find the other rooms.
Esque says
If you play a private game you will be the only person bidding and will win the auction. There are badges for winning auctions.
ssw491 says
If you play a private game you have to option to set it as no auction.

I love it. It’s still the same game I remember. I also like the fact you can have a private room where just you and your friends can play or if your like me just have the entire room yourself. I may start playing with other players when Pogo makes chat available on tablet/mobile devices because I play mostly on my iPad and don’t really wanna play in a room with others if I can’t chat and see if I’m being spoken too. Other than that excellent job Pogo. Now I’ll cross my fingers Lottso will be back at some point too 😊
Jason says
That’s so funny you said that about Lottso Ben. I was thinking the same thing when I saw the headline about DCR. My two favorite original pogo games.
RyzandShyn says
I like it! I played a few games with others and a few by myself. Played as expected, like the old version.
I missed this game, nice to see it back. Good to see they included some Game Award badges as well.
I have felt like they missed the boat on those in other games they have released – it’s always served to keep me interested in playing a game.
tiggerlicious196 says
I like this game very much, it however seems to play slow and not like some of the newer HD games which have faster animations, etc.
bafflingbarnacles says
Found one issue with it so far;
– Dice do not place sometimes where they can clearly go when clicking a card. Makes you run out of time at times trying to drag all the dice everywhere.
It’s weird because I had three dice place all at once and other times it will not place dice in spots where it shows the greyed out numbered dice.
With all that said, I still thought it retained most of the old version. Definitely will keep chat off though. It’s pointless talking to every single body in every single room. Chat will be pretty bad I have a feeling in this too.. some people don’t take auction loses very kindly lol.
Shyan says
I really like this game it is fun and addictive.
wuzzie70 says
I like it — I especially like that we can play in a private room, that way you can always win the auction you want. It will come in handy for those badges where we need to win a certain auction. Thanks, Pogo, for bringing it back!
Kygirl1942 says
I like the concept of the game, but it is still so s-l-o-w. I was hoping the new version would move quicker.
weatherdudeVA says
Plays just as fun as it ever did. They did a good job on this one.
Pat says
I’m enjoying the game. I wish it was set up like the older one. You used to be able to find your friends easier. You had the Lobby and then you could see what room/table your friends were at. So I just played a few with Quick Play and then I Hosted a game without a password. It was easy to do. I don’t like the Chat. What I think is that when you go to a Chat Room those are the ones Hosting and playing when you join.
Boo says
If any1 can figure out an easy way to actually “find your friends” so we all can actually play together by ourselves, please post. Me and a few friends tried several times for over an hr today to set private games & find each other and none of us were even showing up so the rest of us could join…tried everything we could think of- refreshed, held the game, started the game, we all took turns setting up a game….any extra info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Always enjoyed the game and Pogo did a great job keeping it the same. I like being able to play in a room alone with or without auction. Lots of badges available and not a power up in sight!. Looking forward to lots of M&M’s too.

I played the old Dice City Roller a lot but do not remember being this slow to play. I am afraid I will get too bored playing to play it that much. Maybe only for a weekly or a daily if it comes up.
shelnick9293 says
After playing for awhile I enjoyed it more even though I think it is still slow. I play in a private room with the auction so I get to win that every time…………lol
Loren says
How do you advance in rank? Is it through number of properties or your score?
Bryanjul5 says
cards cleared count toward rank pts
Bryanjul5 says
cards completed count toward rank points
not cards cleared.
DeeVermont says
I only played one game so far and I like it a lot! Like others I prefer No Auction.
Maybe it’s me but when I tried to click twice on a die it would automatically go where I wanted it in the old game but the new game I have to drag the die instead of double-clicking which takes more time. Maybe I need to play more.
DeeVermont says
Correction: just played another game and I can double click on a die and direct it where I want it to go. Enjoying this game!
emhanhayes30 says
Anybody else still waiting for the Jackpot spin when you win the game? LOL
Cindy4764 says
No but while playing No Auction I find myself looking to get over 800 as that was the benchmark for the JP spin, LOL!
Pad says
The game is okay, but while I was playing I wrote down two things: the music is very annoying (so I mute the game) and if you are playing in a public game, it’s way too l oooo n g between games to wait until the next game starts. I didn’t find that the game played slow like others have said. This will probably be one I play for challenges only, tho.
Twigsterrlc says
Does anyone know how the rank points are calculated? Is it based on dice placed or a percentage of score, etc?
Bryanjul5 says
Rank points are accumulated by cards completed each game
Kathy says
I played another game and did better and win another badge
i did notice a tour was played there with a tour director.. i saw the smiley face badge
that was the first i saw a tour in chat…
nessa says
Cool game and remake.
Don’t like much the music and sound FX but guess there is not much we can do about it except for muting the game.
Is it me or the cards seem smaller and hard to see compared with the old version?
I like this new version of the game I guess.
Are “Public Games” played against other real players and friend or is it like Poppit Bingo where there’s bots and fake names?
For ranks it says we need a certain amount of “game points”.
What are ” game points” for this game? Score or games played or cards completed or dice or what?
Thanks
Bryanjul5 says
We rank up by completing cards,
nessa says
Thanks.
Found it too 😉
1 Property sold = 1 rank point = just like in the old game.

Like most people that posted, I too like this game. For years I used dcr as my wake-up with coffee game. I’ve always found this game too slow to play by itself. With the old game, I double-browsed with any number of “brainless, not-timed” games ( ie mono slots ). We don’t have many of those types of games anymore, so yesterday when I played, I double-browsed with bejewled stars. I kept it on level two and racked up a ton of coins while getting two dcr badges done 🙂 Glad to hear everyone seems to like this game; next, boggle bash ( I wish ), S
Cindy4764 says
I’ve also been wondering how we rank up so I did a (not in anyway scientific) survey, LOL. I played 8 games by myself, 4 with auction and 4 without. I thought I had noticed that I’d mostly been getting 11-14 rank points per game.
The 4 auction games scores –
1198 – 13 rank points
1009 – 12
909 – 11
1011 – 14
The 4 no auction game scores –
715 – 12 rank points
1043 – 14
695 – 11
924 – not sure, I needed 4 more rank pts for the next level, when I achieved level 6, it says I now need 182 pts
After my survey I still have no idea how they determine rank points.
By the way, I played the first whole day of DCR without realizing that the cute little coffee truck, OJ bar etc get bigger and with more accessories each time you close out a square. Very cute graphics, I love this game! 🙂
FREIDA says
Fastest way to rank up: start – hit host game- private? Yes-auction yes-start private game-always bid on star dice 1st then extra dice-you need star dice for several badges. Stars appear on every card you win, those are the total rank points. Good luck with this fun game!!!
nessa says
I didn’t get that part about “Stars appear on every card you win”, you mean that stars appear on the cards just like that even if you don’t roll any?
And how do you “Always” bid on star dice 1st?
I have played only private – auction games so far and I don’t always get Star Dice to bid on even less on the fist bid, it can go games without having extra dice or star dice cards to bid on and all 3 auction rounds have only scratch or match point cards.
What do you set your game to have always star dice on the fist auction?
Confused
FREIDA says
Sorry I wasn’t clear, when a star dice appears , bid on it. When you fill a card, a small star appears on the edge border. The card will disappear after you have 4 stars. Those stars are the total of rank points.
nessa says
Ohhh ok!
Got it now,
I thougth you were talking about star dice, Sorry 🙁
