Lura says
Something kind of fun about this game is that there are sweet spots for holes-in-one like Mini Golf Madness had. For example, on the first course first hole if you place the ball exactly where it was, then pull back at 40% and 0° you’ll (definitely? probably?) get a hole in one every time. Here’s what I’ve figured out so far:
Beaver Welcome Course:
Hole 1: 40% and 0°
Hole 2: 70% and 20°
Hole 3: 55% and 92°
Hole 4: 49% and -90°
Hole 5: 70% and 4°
Hole 6: 60% and 3°
It also appears the starting location, hole, and obstacles change after you complete all three of the course’s goals so these particular settings will only work for you if you haven’t completed them yet.
Dan says
I haven’t noticed any difference in replaying the levels after completing all 3 objectives.
At least not in the first course.
FADEDWILDROSE says
I am seeing different layouts in Beaver, but that did not happen until I changed a hole target to hit more logs so that completed the third objective of multiple log hits.
Kathy says
Here is the q and A for this game
https://blog.pogo.com/pogo-mini-golf-qa/
and the course lay out will change after you play the courses in the discussion
Nayciebug says
Thank you for the hints ! I needed them .
Ann1 says
Mine did as you said, Lura. I finished the three goals last night and just now saw your hints. However, all the holes are different for me now. I wonder if they will remain the same as they are now from now on?
FADEDWILDROSE says
I ran the Beaver Welcome course mega number of times getting settings for hole-in-one on all 6 holes. There were 4 different layouts for each of the 6 holes and all have possible holes-in-one. I am no where near that many times in Phlinx, but so far I am seeing 4 layouts for each of those 6 holes too (but not very many possible holes-in-one). For courses that do not have in game award badges, I will do those only to get enough medals to open those with badges.
Jean says
Lura, How do you control the shot to get those Percentages? Thanks
Lura says
Click the ball and drag.
Jean says
sorry, did not phrase the question correctly,
……………..How can I “adjust” for those “exact” numbers you show?
dragging & releasing does not give me these #’s Thanks
Lura says
It takes some finesse, or you can turn on the confirmation. See FADEDWILDROSE’s answer 🙂
sirron1957 says
Lura, thank you for those tips on how to aim and how much power to apply but after the first time through each course it’s useless. I played the first 5 courses 3 times to earn badges but after the first time through each the obstacles changed and on some, the location of the holes.
And like Jean, I had trouble getting the numbers you listed. Extremely touchy so for the most part I just did a little calculating in my head and let it rip.
sirron1957
Jean says
I found it ! Thanks
once the levels have the %’s I can go back and play what I cannot get through
(was never good at this game before and it seems harder now)
FADEDWILDROSE says
As Dusty said “use the confirmation(in the settings)”. This allows you to make fine adjustments, especially in the angle. Power % can be adjusted there after you let go of the ball, but does not provide the easy fine adjustment that angle does. After your adjustments you click on the golf club in the center of the confirmation to make the shot.
daffyraffy says
Is there any adjustments to these coordinates to meet the requirements of the weekly badge? I under par?
Thank you.
daxmomma says
Daffy, I have found if you vary the degree and percentage by 1 it will leave you just short of the hole for an easy tap in to get a birdie (1 under par).

the other golf game was so much easier than this one. for some reason there’s way too much wiggle room and it’s hard to aim the ball;. the line spins to fast to be able to aim correctly. in forum it use push controls on golf game. where are they? wish it was more like the other gold game. you could aim and it wouldn’t spin around fast. suggestions please.
Kathy says
be sure to read the ? in the lower left hand corner and will answer some questions and you earn medals to unlock the courses and objectives…and the left side of game are different golf balls you unlock and power ups are the right hand at the top.
i hope someone make a tip sheet for the holes of this game like in Mini Golf Madness . it was helpful for badges
the game looks fun
sturgalve says
Thanks for the hint, Lura. I didn’t play the old version very often, mainly just for challenges. I only played one hole just to give it a try, and it looks pretty good. I’ll wait to play more when the badges come out tomorrow ( I assume so, as we usually get mixies the day after a new game starts up ), since I don’t know yet what the rules are for replaying holes. I want to save the easy holes/courses for when the badges come out 🙂 S
Dan says
The courses are set as groups of 6 holes with 3 objectives for each course.
You can replay the first one whenever you want.
Dino says
I really liked the old game, and I was hoping this one (you know, the new-improved-HTML) version would be as fun. It is similar, but I find my mouse is really float-y and it is difficult to get the aim where I want it to go without my mouse wandering off with its own ideas. Also, all the animations before and after the holes seem to be slower. Ah well, we will all play it for its badges.
And thanks Lura for the tips for each hole.
Good luck everyone!
RyzandShyn says
I remember it took me a bit to get good at Mini Gold Madness. I used the help available on BH to learn how to play the holes. I’m anticipating the same now – it’ll take m a while and I’ll take advantage of posts made here about it.
I’m also nervous about going too far until I hear/read if replaying lower levels is possible or not.
I don’t think I need to worry about that though if my results on the tries I took on Round One is any indication..lol..I might never advance.
Dan says
Yep, you can replay the lower levels as many times as you want.
You open new courses by completing goals on the previous courses.
Example:
I’ve already opened up Beaver Welcome (1st course), Watery Huts (2nd course), Bouncy Forest (3rd course), and Phlinx Land (4th course),
I need to complete 1 more goal in either Bouncy Forest or Phlinx Land to open the 5th course (Marmot’s Hole).
Kygirl1942 says
I have finished all courses. If you replay the Beaver course, you can get the badge quickly. You don’t have to finish the goals for the course, just get birdies; Replay the easy holes and you will get your badge.
sufr. bob says
no way to see how to complete hole four on the sweet tooth course.
Dusty says
For me if I use the confirmation(in the settings) , it is a lot easier to get the mouse to go where you want. Especially ir you use the hith Lura gave us for the Hole in One. 🙂
Pat says
After 1st Course I notice the ? I hit the Question Mark and it opens “How to Play”.
Look at Bottom Left, “Open Play” If it’s Yellow you can go there. Here you will find Power Ups and Golf Course.
Life4Style says
I must be doing something wrong because I can’t get the ball to move. I drag back, and release, but nothing happens. I tried Firefox and Edge.
Kathy says
I have no problem did you try Chrome
Life4Style says
No, I hadn’t tried Chrome. I just tried and the same thing happens. I keep getting 2 different course images. One I get when I just click on “Play” has lots of obstacles. The other I get when I click on Start from the how to play psge. I keep getting Nestor and a smaller inset window with the ball outside of it. But on neither course will the ball move. I can see the percentages and all that, but the ball won’t move when I release the mouse.
But even if it worked on Chrome, it wouldn’t work after Dec. when Chrome support goes away. Thank you for the suggestion, though.
Kathy says
another suggestion , contact customer service and support and talk to them about it
FEM says
you have to use the arrows on bottom to release the ball…its a golf club with a ball u click that to release the ball
Jenan says
I was having the same issue with different browsers for several days… the inset window would pop up and could do nothing to get it to go away. I posted in the forum about it and even though no one answered I decided to give it a try again after a couple days and the inset window went away and I was able to play so give it another try. I used Chrome, haven’t tried other browsers yet but was having this issue with both Chrome and Firefox before. So don’t know where the tweak happened since I did nothing different between not being able to play and being able to play other than trying every day or so to see if it resolved.

Is this game going to be Multiplayer? There is a Badge:
Better With Friends Badge
Win 100 Multiplayer games
Like the game but, One problem I have with this game is that Bucket of Balls. It’s too Big! Always in the way. Takes up too much space. Needs to be smaller.
The Practice Course is nice. You can even use the Power Ups to see how they work.
Kathy says
i emailed Pogo Llama about the multiplayer games
and she said when i said it is multiplayer . i think when the pogo makes the change of game
whenever that will be ..
hopefully they add more courses… people will rank out game fast …or soon

Does anyone else find it strange that this is a NEW game – a HTML5 game – and it can be played on BOTH the classic side and the newer version of pogo – up until now new released HTML5 games could only be played on the NEW pogo
Kygirl1942 says
I am up to Mahjong Garden course – played it many, many times, but still can’t finish it. Have no idea how I got this far, except to keep playing over and over again, adjusting shots each time til I found one that worked.
Beverly says
In Settings, what is “use confirmation option”? I tried turning it on but then the ball won’t play at all.
FADEDWILDROSE says
Beverly: To use the confirmation setting, I first mouse drag the ball to about where I want it, taking the most care with the % power. Then I use the confirmation arrows to adjust the angle exactly. Sometimes I use the “temperature gauge” to adjust the power. When satisfied with my settings, I click the golf club centered between the arrows. Also note there is a big red X in case you want to just start over.

YEA!! Got my first badge in Pogo Mini Golf – Fly The Coop Badge – addictive game!
Kirsten says
Congrats! Pretty amazing since it just came out. 🙂
FADEDWILDROSE says
I finished the badge for Phlinx Land! There were 4 different layouts of each of the 6 holes (after accomplishing the 3rd objective). Of those 24 layouts, there were 4 that I could not hole out in less than 3 strokes and 6 where I routinely got a hole-in-one. My stats show a number for “hole-in-ones” but none for “aces” – what is with that?
nayciebug says
I need help on Watery Huts please. I have to fall in the water less than 4 times and finish under par. Thank you and I really appreciate it.
Jimyd70 says
Are we going to get anymore course tips like the one Laura posted here. It would be greatly appreciated.
FADEDWILDROSE says
I have proved to my satisfaction that there can be a difference in results if your final power setting is made in the “confirmation setting” instead of dragging by mouse even if the number you set is identical with both. Either is good, just be consistent for any one shot.
FADEDWILDROSE says
The goof ups in Mini Golf just keep coming. Two objectives if Payday Castle course say “fall in water less than 0 time” and “fall in bird nest less than 0 time”! How is that possible? I finally got an announcement after a hole that said “ACE” but it was not an ace(hole-in-one). It was in fact 4 under par (2 on a par 6) –the proper name for that shot is Condor. That ace shot announced does not show up in stats. I object in principle to golf’s accepted use of albatross for 3 under par because in normal language albatross is not a good thing but a very negative thing. I prefer the term double eagle. That said, if Pogo chooses to use albatross, they should quit misspelling it when announcing that great shot (I guess spell check doesn’t work for graphics!)
babsiebaby7 says
I finally found out how to either push or aim forward. but the forward keeps spinning around while I’m trying to aim. very frustrating game.
FADEDWILDROSE says
I think that the aim line for the golf ball is easier to control by pulling back. Pushing forward seemed to me to spin too much. When a game is loaded you can go to the lower left gear icon for settings and change whether you push or pull the line. If you are having trouble aiming, you may want to go there and try the other way.
Renee (nayciebug) says
Are there any more tips on the courses? I could really use some. Thank you very much
Renee (nayciebug) says
Bouncy Forest is the course I need help on please!
Carrie Olwin says
Does anyone know how to get up the ledge on level 6 in Jumping Around? I’m stuck..
FADEDWILDROSE says
Jumping Around level 6: First, just aim a weak (maybe 6-8%) shot toward the right so that you set up access to the ramp while still on the starting level. Then use a quite strong shot to jump up the ramp to the hole. You don’t need to go to lower levels at all. Thanks to Hellcatfaust for posting this some time ago.
Danny says
For the badges;
-Successfully complete the Payday Freecell course 75 times.
-Successfully complete the Phlinx course 75 times.
-Successfully complete the Sweet Tooth Town course 75 times.
-Successfully complete the Mahjong Garden course 75 times.
-Successfully complete the Snowbird Solitaire course 75 times,
do you have to just play these courses or do you have to also finish par or under par? Anyone knows?

How do you get an eagle in pogo mini golf
MomsBassetHound says
In Pogo Golf it has to be at least a 4 par hole, and you need to finish the hole 2 under par.
Suz
FADEDWILDROSE says
An eagle is 2 under par, but is not possible on a par 3 because then 2 under is a hole-in-one.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips, cheats, or whatever they are called to help get “Birdie” for the new badge? I am playing one to get 50 Birdie and another I have to get 100 Birdie. I would be forever thankful for any help
