The second Pogi Constellation has now begun, with Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels, each with 15 tiers of rewards to unlock. The Pogi counts have been reset, and everyone has a fresh start to complete this new Niles Sphinx Constellation.
You can earn Pogis for completing new Daily, Weekly, and Premium Challenges. Like with the first Pogi Constellation, you will earn rewards like power-ups and bonus Badges as you reach various milestones.
Your current Pogi count and progress can be seen at the top of Early Access next to your Gem total. You can also track your progress on the Constellation page.
The Niles Sphinx Constellation is available now and will run until 11:59 pm PT on July 9th.
Lyndia says
Clean slate is right. I had finished constellation one and was thousands of pogis ahead hoping it would give a boost to the second constellation. All the extra points were for nil. We start back to zero.
Ryan Lindsay says
I had enuf pogis saved to finish the NEW constellation as well, but alas, all the work I did was for naught..so that means I will no longer play it nor buy any challenges
MomsBassetHound says
That was actually in the FAQ that Pogo posted prior to the 1st constellation being released in March. And unless Pogo changes something it’s how it will always be.

dottiedeedee says
Not only do we start back at 0 Pogis — which we were warned about, though, BUT there is no acknowledgment of our completing the Constellation! The whole Pogi’s system is primarily aimed at completing the Constellation by reaching the final Gold stage. So — where does it show that we have done this? There should be somewhere, in our Profile at least, and even nicer would be for it to be displayed on every page, alongside our badge count, as was our badge count in Classic.
Otherwise the only thing we can accumulate is badges. I’m not sure if this will suffice for me! Why should I spend my time, money and energy on finishing a Constellation without any record of so doing?
I was expecting there to be an addition –maybe a gold 1– on my avatar when I checked in this morning. Not there. I checked my Profile, thinking the Constellations completed might be shown right next to the Badges count — not there. And, of course, clicking on the gold P to open the Pogi count showed 0/200.
I’m not happy with this and hope that someone just forgot to add it, and will shortly do so.
ultimatetreebe says
I totally agree with you…
MomsBassetHound says
I don’t think this is what you want, but you could use the avatar we received for completing gold, or you could display the final gold badge.
I’ve heard people say they would like a place where our lifetime Pogis amount is shown, just like our lifetime tokens. I think that could work, just don’t know what it would take to do that.
Suz
dottiedeedee says
Yes, I HAD an Avatar that consisted of a GOLD circular border around my avatar with three circles at the bottom to represent the completion of the final Gold tier and the Pogisus Constellation.
But this has now reverted to my original, plain, pre-bronze, silver, and gold tiers.
I can find nothing in our permanent, ongoing records, to indicate that anyone has completed the Pogisus Constellation.
I contrast this to the previous depiction of our badge and token scores in our porofile and also on EVERY game page in Pogo and on our Friends page for all to see.
Am I missing something?
Again, I’m hoping that Pogo will find this omission and rectify it!
MomsBassetHound says
You can go in and change your avatar to that gold one that we earned when we finished gold.
Go to your profile on early access, click on your avatar that shows to the left of your name. That will bring up all the avatars available to you, the gold should be at the bottom of the list. Just click on that and hit “save changes” when you are done.
But our Pogis amount from constellation #1 doesn’t show anywhere, at least not that I’ve found.
Suz
tubs62 says
Hi,
I totally agree with what you are saying.
My thoughts were Pogis are stars, so why can’t we have a small bronze, silver, gold star somewhere with the number inside for what you have achieved , a little like the tournaments used to show.
I worked really hard to achieve gold, I was even finishing my last badge just before midnight so I was finished, it has been hard with the problems Pogo has been having and players not being able to play. Reaching gold didn’t cost me any gems at all which I am very pleased about.
Fingers crossed they will hear what we are all saying and hopefully come up with something.
Well done everyone for what ever your achievement was.
WOJO1556 says

Everyone have a good and SAFE Day.
ultimatetreebe says
I was hoping they would have a list for what you achieved in each constellation. but I don’t see one.
wakeful says
I figured that they would not allow us to “bank” constellation points so when I finished my gold Pogisus badge on Friday I was able to take the rest of the weekend off, which was very pleasant.
I am quite annoyed that the main constellation page does not show that I completed Constellation 1. There should be an acknowlegement.
I made my gold Pogi badge my favorite, but yeah. Lot of effort for not much.
bigfun says
I also found out that any overage after completing the 1st constellation would be dropped….
So, I waited to finish this week’s badges, along with a few other badges from the 30 “baking” challenge… the “buy a random challenge for 8 gems” is too arbitrary for me, along with expensive.
I was able to get thru 4 tiers in under an hour, on the Bronze list.
I could have done more if I thought to delay progress on other badges, but I have a strategy for this new constellation.
Blues4eva2003 says
I Finished the Last Constellation with 28 days Left so I Stopped working on MMs that had Pogi’s and started working on older badges that Didn’t reward them because I knew the pogi’s would reset But now I have a bunch of Badges that I can work on to move up this Constellation Ladder
Life4Style says
This Constellation Only has 3 Bronze levels? What happened to Silver and Gold?
MomsBassetHound says
Once you finish the 15 tiers in Bronze you will move up to Silver. You can only view the level you are working on, just like with the last constellation.
Suz
Life4Style says
Oops. I think I forgot the Silver and Gold are on separate pages. LOL Better get more coffee. LOl
momof3boys4 says
I personally like the new Pogi Constellations. I like getting free power ups as I work toward the next tier. I try to limit my spending on gems so this was a welcome activity. I knew I wouldn’t make it to the final level in time on the last constellation but at least I earned one of the gold badges.
jeff says
Didn’t see it mentioned here but Bronze levels 13,14,15 have moved up from 1200 each last constellation to 1500 each this constellation.
FADEDWILDROSE says
And silver levels have also increased. Now bronze totals17,500 instead of 16,200 and silver totals 34,000 instead of 31,800. I have enough badges saved to get to gold but not enough time!
MomsBassetHound says
It shows that Bronze is 16,500 on my constellation, and it was 15,600 on the 1st constellation.
Suz
FADEDWILDROSE says
You are right that the bronze is 16,500. I looked at the wrong column on my spreadsheet where I had copied the rewards lists and pogis. Silver alone is 17,500 which makes the total to the end of silver 34,000
mspatmac says
I just hope this is not an indication that future constellations will have requirements increased. It would be grossly unfair if it required many purchases to complete. To compensate Pogo would need to gift more badges to level the playing field for those that are unable to purchase multiple badges.
Mozartjea says
Pogo players who buy “it” all never get the advantage of badge sales.
MomsBassetHound says
I’m not unhappy that they increased it. I finished gold last time on my 2nd account without buying anything, and don’t think that you should be able to do that. It’s not Pogo’s job to keep giving out free stuff. The more they give, the more people want.
It’s nice enough that they are rewarding people for completing badges, they shouldn’t have to provide the badges too.
Suz
tiggerlicious196 says
We have until July and I’m sure Pogo will throw many freebies our way 😉
RyzandShyn says
I’m not surprised at the increase either.
I’m sure Pogo noticed how many players finished gold and then stopped playing for badges or buying badges. They invented Constellations in the first place as a way to entice players to play and buy more, so I imagine that the drop-off in playing and buying bothered their bottom line financially. It’s just like they had tokens to entice us to play and buy more.
I have a problem with the line of thinking that players are entitled to free stuff so they can finish Constellations or that having to buy badges to finish levels in Constellations is somehow “unfair”.
When we earned tokens for our play, players had differing numbers of token totals depending upon how much they played and purchased. If they wanted high token counts, they played and purchased more. Pogis works the same way, players will have differing numbers depending upon how much they play and purchase. If you want higher numbers of Pogis, then you have to play and purchase more.
No one is “entitled” to anything except what they earned.
Mozartjea says
I agree totally with what you said RyzandShyn. You couldn’t have said it better.
Julia
Mozartjea says
During the first constellation I earned 123,400 total pogis.
48,700 of my total pogis came from free challenges which included all weeklies offered, all free mnm badges pogo handed out , and 88 of the 120 available daily challenges.
74,700 of my total pogis came from purchased mnm badges.
I completed the first constellation on April 07, 2020.
Julia
RyzandShyn says
Thanks, Julia.
I know it’s not a popular viewpoint, but I think it is the correct way to look at it.
I do think they should have built in a system so that people could spend all the Pogis they earn, the same way we had the options of the mini store & expressions store to spend our tokens if we chose to. I think that would have solved the problem of the “excess Pogis”….a problem they obviously overlooked.
jean123coop says
You said it so well RyzandShyn and I completely agree. Wish POGO would actually listen to the players.
MomsBassetHound says
You know I agree with you, but there would be more complaints if they allowed us to spend all the Pogis we earned. Then you would have a lot of people complaining that the only way to get this reward, or that reward, would be if they bought badges, and that Pogo was greedy. No matter what they do they will never be able to please everyone b/c there are some that only look for things to complain about. And that will never stop unfortunately.
Suz
Lizz says
But now how many have I accumulated? That is my problem. I don’t mind playing and paying but I had to pay and play and earn to get them and then a few weeks/months later they are gone. I like to see what I got for all I did, so to speak. Just give us a final total of all we have earned. Yes I can count my badges but maybe I would like to see what I earned in pogis too.
MomsBassetHound says

Suz
dottiedeedee says
The major difference here is that tokens were CUMULATIVE. We got to keep them. They represented our accomplishments. (Pogo even went so far as to include a record of our “Lifetime” tokens so that the total wouldn’t be diminished by spending or gambling losses).
If you buy scads of MnM’s , win millions of Pogis, and complete all the constellations for ten years and I come along and JUST play the 10th one, I’ll have as many Pogis and the same record as you have, showing on our profiles!
This is my complaint. We need a cumulative, visible record of our successes!

Liz C says
You play for more pogis and the are erased after the constellation is over. How is that in comparison to the tokens. I don’t think pogo should be gifting badges all the time. They started it last year in the marathons they created.
Green Tea says
In the last go-around. I went wild doing Pogi badges at first. When I reached the last half of the Gold tier, I stopped and did a chart and figured out what I needed to do to get to the very last point. I calculated how many Pogis it would take doing both dailies and weeklies–since those are free and wasting free is a waste! By yesterday afternoon I was 100 points shy of reaching the goal so I activated a 200-Pogi badge and crossed the finish line, only “wasting” 100 Pogis. Not bad!
I had stopped doing this week’s weeklies, and stopped the Marathon badges about a third of the way in. I continued doing the daily challenges, but I worked on ranking up in Yahtzee Party during that time, using Lura’s really useful tips for ranking up. I also worked on some old Mix-n-Match badges in some of my earlier albums that didn’t award Pogis.
Now I can haul tuches again, and finish this week’s Weekly badges and finish up the Marathon. Being able to activate multiple Marathon badges at the same time is probably the best tip I’ve ever gotten from BadgeHungry folks. I am ever grateful for you all!

Bucco1920 – I had the same problem in Stack ‘Em yesterday. Finally, closed down pogo, deleted all history and it started working right. When it started again, I deleted the history again. It’s a pain but doable. Good luck to you!
FADEDWILDROSE says
I have changed how I multi-activate and am regularly getting 6 at a time. On early access I choose challenge and challenge central at the top of the home page. Then click browse all challenges, M&M, challenge status “not activated”, games (you may have to click “see all” to get the game you want)and check the box for which game. These settings display up to 6 badges on one screen with their activate button showing I then use both hands on a touch screen.
bafflingbarnacles says
Not sure how I feel about the Pogi system. To not have a cumulative number on our profile at least (similar to the Token system) for our wanting to “collect” them I probably won’t bother doing many challenges I probably wouldn’t have done thinking the number would be added to our profile as a cumulative.
With that said I’ll still do the weeklies I like, but probably will skip a lot of the freebies I only did to get the Pogis.
RyzandShyn says
I agree with those of you thinking that there should be some sort of record showing of our progress in the Constellations once they end.
As Bonnie had suggested about a week ago, I started this one with lots of badges completed except for the last step, and finished them all up today to give myself a boost into this constellation. It was fun to do so I’m going to remember that when the beginning of July rolls around (well, I hope I remember).
That free Daily Sudoku badge did deliver 1,000 Pogis today – so despite the wording about it when it was given to us, it was still good for this next Constellation. They really need to work on their written communication, but we knew that already. 🙂
shelnick9293 says
I am glad I saved some of my badges and especially the 1,000 pogis one to play for this constellation. I am now working on the 8th tier. I will miss the 400 one for QA this week because I don’t play that time but hopefully will make it up as I go along.

MomsBassetHound says
Unless you have undone badges to do the only thing available for free right now are the Daily Challenges.
But this is not a marathon, this is an ongoing reward program. You need to decide how you want to participate, nobody else can tell you that.
This constellation will be around thru July 9th, and there will plenty to do. There are 2 daily challenges, there are 2 weekly badges, and there are more marathons than there should be.
Suz

Pogo will give many ways to collect Pogis throughout the 60 days.
Daily Challenges.
Weekly Challenges.
Game of the month.
Marathons.
Some of you undone personals might have Pogis.
Gifted Mix n Matches.
And yes…Bought Mix n Matches as well

what i had to do go thru the games , look for the challenges with pogis on them… there are the daily challenge and weekly challenges which have pogis..pogo sometimes give us free badges…. if you are caught with the challenges then there are buy ones,., others may have other suggestions.. gl

Ok can someone please explain to me how the constellations work. I am on the 2nd one and still don’t know how they work.
For instance on the new constellation the first tier is Snowbird Solitaire I currently have 100/200.
It has a lightning symbol then states Snowbird Solitaire – (2) Wave. What is (2) wave?
Across the page it has another lightning symbol and states Snowbird Solitaire – (2) Playable Cards and what is (2) playable cards?
What the heck does that mean and how in the world did I get 100/200 and how do I get the other 100?
I’m just totally lost lol.
Thanks for your help
MomsBassetHound says
The games that you see on the tiers are the games you are going to be rewarded the power ups in, and has nothing to do with what you have to play to earn the Pogis.
To earn the Pogis you just have to play ANY challenge that awards Pogis, in ANY game. This includes the 2 Daily Challenges that award 100 Pogis for each, the 2 Weekly Badges that award 400 Pogis each, any free marathon/event badges, and any M&M that was released after 1/1/20.
The amount of Pogis you receive from M&M Badges varies…Platinum M&M Badges aware 600 Pogis, other M&M Badges can offer 200, 300, or 400 Pogis. The amount of Pogis on the regular M&M Badges can be figured out easily. If you get 2 weeks to complete, you get 200 Pogis. If it’s 3 weeks, you get 300 Pogis. And you get 400 Pogis if you get 4 weeks to complete the badge.
You only get Pogis the first time you complete a badge, you get nothing if you redo it.

Q. Where can I see my standings for the previous Constellations?
A. We know how important it is to see how you did in the last Constellation after working so hard! This feature is currently in development and we’ll retroactively update it from Constellations passed when the feature is released.
I’m thrilled that they will be showing our lifetime Pogis amount, and I know that this will make others happy as well.

In the first Constellation I finished everything but the last 2 levels.
Now I have lost most of my interest. I have already skipped a Crossword Cove daily and
the QA weekly. All I see is mostly repeats of power ups that I won’t use and a few badges. I am tired of QA so
those power ups will sit for a while.
Today I noticed at 4 pm Pacific/ 7 Eastern that there are only 39,000 playing. In very recent times it was
42,000 to 47,000. And this is prime time – Wednesday afternoon/early evening in the US/Canada with most people home.
By the way I got the numbers on Classic. Does anyone know if it shows on Early Access?

How can someone be at Gold Level 1 already?
tiggerlicious196 says
By having saved badges and this weeks badges
FADEDWILDROSE says
I am at gold level 1 because I kept buying all available badges and did not do them. I stock piled them until the new constellation opened up. With the stockpile I was able to multi-activate in a number of games so that I was sometimes doing as many as 6 badges at once.
MomsBassetHound says
They had a ton of badges with just a few minutes work to finish, and maybe a ton of the seed badges that are quick. That’s the only honest way that it could be accomplished.
I didn’t have anything sitting when the constellation started, so I’m only on bronze, tier 8.
Suz
Lizz says
I am soooo glad they decided to give us the totals. What a good day. Funny how the little things make us happy these days. Now if I can play a few of the QA so I can at least get the badge. MomsBassetHound says
You earn Pogis for completing any Daily Challenge, any weekly badge, and any M&M released after 1/1/20.
The games you see on the tiers are just showing you what power ups you will earn, has nothing to do with the games you need to play.

I’m working through Mix and Match badges that I had bought already that award Pogis to go towards the constellations but how are those of you that are already caught up on badges earning Pogis towards the constellations? The dailies and weeklies wouldn’t add up to enough to get to gold I wouldn’t imagine. I have a long ways to go to get “caught up”, just curious how this is working for everyone else. I missed gold on the last constellation by only 2 levels and I’m doing better this time but as others have said I don’t really feel like there is enough of an acknowledgment once completed at all.
MomsBassetHound says
Every time a badge is released I buy it. That’s how I’m earning my Pogis.
Suz
jeff says
Its my belief that you won’t be able to complete the final tier of Pogis unless you purchase at least some of the mix and match badges they offer up for sale.
With careful planning you can reduce these costs by buying stuff on sale and some of the higher paying badges.
Check out how many Pogis the badge offers before purchasing and weigh you decision based on this.
Some regulars pay 400 while most pay 200.
Also for a few Gems more (20 gems), each month Pogo puts out some Platinum Badges that pay 600 pogis…. of these is basically worth as much as 3 regular mixes.
Todays Sale offers at least 2 that pay 400 at a cost of 12 Gems each.
MomsBassetHound says
But then you are actually paying for the rewards. It’s only a reward if you get it for what you normally would do, how you played before March 12th.
Wouldn’t it be cheaper just to buy the power ups if you wanted them?
Suz
RyzandShyn says
I look at it differently, Jeff. I’m don’t plan to buy or play things based on Pogis.
Pogis is just a reward for playing – so I’m playing like I always do, the games and badges I want to do, that I enjoy doing.
I think people will drive themselves crazy if they base what they buy and play upon earning Pogis, and besides, I cant see where that would be much fun.
I will admit that I do play the daily challenges more often than I did when all I earned was tokens, but that’s only when I see I’m close to earning a power-up in a game I normally play and it’s a helpful power-up.
jeff says
Agreed we all play the way we like first and foremost…the question posed was asking specifically if it was possible to achieve Gold Tier 3 if you were all caught up… and for those of us who are are,…what we were doing to earn the extra Pogis needed.
And if I may to answer mama’s question in the same post… I don’t really care about the power-ups..although the Quinns ones are welcomed!!!…I want the 9 completion badges and the satisfaction of having completing the Constellation.
MomsBassetHound says
Mama says that nobody should be able to complete the gold level for free, and this time probably won’t.
On my 2nd account I will have 13,000 after completing the 4 GOTM Badges, but I was gifted 2 Platinum Badges on that account. If I deduct the 1200 Pogis I received for those 2 Badges that would put me back to 11,800 Pogis, not even enough to complete tier 12 on the bronze level.
Suz
RyzandShyn says
Ah ah – I didn’t see that the thread started up by Jill’s question. Now I understand you were answering her inquiry.
I’m probably starting to get “old eyes” to go with the other aging parts. 🙂
Either which way it’s an interesting point to ponder and hear opinions about.
Lizz says
I also am having a change of heart or pogis. I have decided to play what I want to play and I am not going to worry about pogis. That being said, I have not purchased any badges for 25 gems yet and I am not going to for a long time. That I could change my mind on too but right now, I have enough from the sale without spending a fortune. My problem is I have probably 80 badges that I own that need to be done.
Have a safe week everyone, stay home and away from riots and covid.

MomsBassetHound says
The badges for the bronze level are on tiers 13, 14, & 15. Your friend has earned more Pogis than you have, and is working on their silver level already. You need to earn another 5,400 Pogis to get all 3 of the badges that your friend has.
Good Luck!

Thanks for all the feedback! So it sounds like once I get through the badges that I had already purchased (that award Pogis) I won’t be able to complete the constellations without continuing to buy what Pogo offers. There are so many games I’m tired of at this point so I’m not sure they will ever get me to buy a Quins badge! 🙂 I have had some lunch with multi-activating badges on early access which is awesome but I don’t see anywhere on early access or the old version where I can actually see everything activated when I do it that way. I might have to get old school and write them down! 😉 Thanks again for all the replies, I really appreciate it!
Sonja says
I’m going to start ignoring Pogis and get what I get, I’ll finish up the latest one this weekend but that’s to finish up the silver level so no hope for gold. Had no problem in the first constellation but that had IIRC a few marathons. This one didn’t. Not going to hold off doing Weeklys to add to the Pogi total.
Appreciate earning some free powerups, but really not that much different than tokens.
jeff says
You are correct…there was the Magic Marathon…which was 30 free badges, each paying 300-400 Pogis.
There was up to 4 badges in exchange for the loss of tokens…1200 each.
There was 6 “Covid gift Badges” at 400 each.
There was a 1,000 Pogi Pogo Daily Sudoku Badge for the mess up in the days not counting.
And…there was a free Badge every Monday in Mar or Apr for 5 more free badges.
Next Constellation won’t be much different than this one…there will be a couple of Marathons and a couple of bonus Badges…but Magic Marathons are HUGE compared to most other Marathons and Pogo blasted us with high dividend free Badges in that first constellation.
Sonja says
Thanks Jeff! You’re a good chronicler! I had no problem at all with the first constellation and you refreshed my memory as to why. Yeah, we had a ton of free badges. This constellation — not so much.
MomsBassetHound says
Here are the final Pogis amounts for the 2nd constellation…
If you did ALL the free challenges, and purchased nothing extra, you could have earned 36,700 Pogis. That was enough to get you thru tier 3 on the gold level.
If you did ALL the free challenges, and everything available for purchase, you could have earned 91,900 Pogis. That is with nothing undone before the constellation started, or ended.
Onward to constellation #3.
Good Luck Everyone!!
