I went in to purchase it but the button was green with “activate” wrote on it. So I clicked it to see what would happen and it is available for me to play. The same thing happened to my husband. Now I am going to do it before that changes.

Catherine. Its a good chance you may have gotten it gifted to you on March 30th by Spike and have done it already. You might check. I had forgotten I got it but looked and saw I had gotten it March 30th. Good Luck
Catherine L says
Thank you Dusty. You could be right. Anyway I got it done today.

1. Go to badge central 2. Click on browse all Challenges 3. On left side click on Games to expand it. 4. In search bar type in World Class Solitaire HD. 5. Put check mark in the square besides the name when it shows up. 6. It should then show up 1st badge left, top row. (shows a bird on nest) 7. Click on that it will then flip and it will either say activate or reactivate.

I already have it. As stated above this badge was a reward for the Winter Journey Challenge Quest.

So Pogo wants to SELL us a badge that we could have gotten for free by doing the challenge? I have several reactions to that and none of them are good. It doesn’t seem like a good precedent to set for those of us who might have worked for DAYS to get that badge, only to find out in the end that we could have simply bought it.
MomsBassetHound says
All of the LE Badges that we have won doing the different Quests could have been purchased. That’s nothing new. But why would you want to buy it when you could get it for free by completing a couple of free badges?

I get where you’re coming from. But look at it this way: Some players don’t buy/can’t buy gems, so they are very happy to complete the presented challenges to win the badge – a badge they wouldn’t ordinarily be able to own.
Me? I’m with you sort of. If the challenges presented are not to my liking, I play the ones I want to play and then wait to see what the badge is and if I want it badly enough, I buy it. I’m not working for days on challenges I don’t like just to win a badge I may/may not even want.
It’s just a matter of different strokes for different folks.
