Helpful Info
If you are not getting credit for the challenges and are sure you are playing the correct games, you may need to (re)visit the Treasure Chase page before trying to get credit again.
These badges are considered weekly badges (for at least the time being), so if you attempt these challenges you may notice your 2020 Wednesday Challenge album badge count is different until you complete them.

clues do not really fit, at least Sudoku doesn’t … in sudoku a person does Not ‘add them up’ Thanks for info.
Phoxie46 says
Does anyone know what game is for the clue:
Finish strong with cards to spare and make the birds sing with cheer.
I have tried several games and they aren’t showing any challenge like that?
Thanks for your hlp!
tiggerlicious196 says
The list of games are listed in this post =)
MomsBassetHound says
It’s Snowbird Solitaire. You need to win the level and have at least 5 cards left in the draw pile.
Suz
Susan Anderson says
do you know how hard that is to do?
Lura says
I assure you she does. She, along with many of us, completed the badge after many hours of work. And Moms even did it twice. π
FADEDWILDROSE says
Seven days left – right?? Therefore it is not possible for me to get the daily soduku one as I am all caught up and 7 days = (7*15)=105 stars. I have sent a complaint to Pogo_llama
MomsBassetHound says
You can repeat puzzles. I just tried it b/c I’m caught up also.
Suz
Jujubees29 says
I just replayed a puzzle and I didn’t get credit for it.
MomsBassetHound says
Well, that’s all I’ve been doing and will have the badge completed shortly.
Suz
Dawn says
I got the badge by playing days I had already done
MomsBassetHound says
Thanks, was beginning to think I was seeing things when nobody else was getting credit…lol
Congrats!!
Suz
Wackoot41 says
Usually you have to choose “random” when you’re caught up like that. That’s what I have done in the past and it has worked.
MomsBassetHound says
There is no random in Sudoku.
Suz
FADEDWILDROSE says
Thanks Suz! I just assumed that you couldn’t repeat a level for stars in the monthly count, that the same held true for the badge. So glad repeats work.
MomsBassetHound says
You’re very welcome!
Good Luck with the badge!!
Suz
Cathy says
Or you can go back to old easy puzzles to receive 3 stars I went back to March 17 2019 and found no stars on the easy puzzles, so i am doing those.
helcatfaust says
also take a picture of the puzzle when it’s done and then just repeat the same puzzle from the pic on your phone and you;ll be done in no time.
tiggerlicious196 says
Or one could see the answers here on BH π
Naned1P says
IT IS POSSIBLE – You can redo the daily over & over if need be it does not count to opening new background but, is does towards ranks – I did 20 days yesterday so I feel your pain. Anyway, try it 1 time but you get frustrated I think I Will work. GL
kodi06 says
You can do the same one over and over. It should work
Michae says
the solution is easy…do a daily puzzle, write down the soduku puzzle numbers, and keep doing that same daily puzzle.
gerbear18220 says
Wow! I think they are asking a lot this week…. Gone Mahjong crazy this week ….
bgettig says
I have maxed out on Mahjong levels and don’t get stars anymore. That is rotten. Like add more animals in the arctic already
RyzandShyn says
Well, nope, nope, and nope from me.
misspogo says
Me neither, not going to waste my time even though I don’t really have anything else to do, just not interested enough anymore I guess
mommalove44433 says
AGREE, not gonna even try.
Joyfand2 says
I have played both solitaire blitz and snowbird solitaire and neither game shows a badge or given me credit. I have tried these twice, so what’s up?
MomsBassetHound says
If you look at the article above you will see that Solitaire Blitz is not 1 of the games.
Snowbird is the badge, but unless you win the level with at least 5 cards left in your draw pile it won’t show as an activated badge.
Good Luck!
Suz
kodi06 says
Is there anyway to replay a level? I am at 76 and I don’t know if there are 60 left. I have had to spend oodles of gem to be able to win with 5 cards left. If I could start over it wouldn’t be so bad. But, obviously the higher you go the harder they get and I don’t want to spend that many gems. Think I’ll skip this one
Georgia VanderVeer says
I always go to the beginning of games when it seems almost impossible. I’ll play the same puzzle over and over if I have too. I absolutely refuse to spend gems like that, it’s not necessary to, just spend gems on things you Want to!
SCHARLENE ROBSON says
Is there a way to go back and play levels you have already completed? I’ve looked, but don’t see a way to replay previous levels.
GhostRider5871 says
Yes as long as you have 100 levels completed.Just go back to the resort click on the beach.Clock play Then click play more.It will pop up a level you have already done.If don’t like that level go back to the resort repeat steps till get one you like
crochetinc says
i had been playing Snowbird ( hate the game ) , had gotten 6 or 7 wins, after trying MANY X. then i notice no credit given, WHERE do you activate that badge . im not at all good in that game, but if i do actually win a hand, i want credit . WAY tooo much ‘ stuff ‘ to sift through
tks much
Kathy says
the badge is for Snowbird Solitaire not Solitarire Blitz.. i won a game with more 5 cards remanding…
people confuse these games alot the time lol
Lori says
I guess if I wanted to spend every waking hour on Pogo…I could win in the forest forage. No, forget that. I would not be able to sleep. I never, ever play Sudoku. I don’t have the patience for it. I don’t think it is fair for Pogo to ask for this much time you would need to complete the challenges for week two. All my personal challenges seem to have eliminated any reward, too. So, as far as the Forest Forage….I think I will go forage in my refrigerator. I am so out of this challenge.
PAN says
Why not Sudoku? The answers are provided for us. π
beyechonjr says
i just dont like this game and even having the answers available doesnt make me want to play it..silly i guess ….i just dont want to spend the time
Jane says
I don’t like Sudoku either, but it sure helps that they have the answers on this site!!! And FYI…. I simply log into Daily Sudoku EVERY DAY just to unlock the day for stupid challenges like these!!
RyzandShyn says
LOL! Me too – I go in every day so that I have puzzles to play for a badge when one comes up. And I’m thankful for the answers here on BH.
However, having to copy in answers isn’t a fun way to earn a badge, so I do it only when the amount of time I’d have to spend doing it seems reasonable to me – and this doesn’t…lol.
Mike says
To get Pogo Sudoku, select a date and level (make sure you remember this info), work the puzzle and , just before you enter the last number, press the Print Screen button. Then go to Paint (or other picture program) and paste (Ctrl+v). The print the picture and use it to repeat the same date and level until you complete the puzzle.
kodi06 says
You can get the answers here on Badge Hungry every day. No reason not to do it and you can do the daily over and over again until you get it.
Karen Wilson says
Me too, Iβm still working on week one because my golden balloons in Poppit bingo are not being credited. It stops after two games and I have to log out and back in for them to start counting again!!!
So over this challenge
MomsBassetHound says
I will say one thing in Pogo’s defense.
All over the Pogo forums there are members complaining that Pogo should give out tons of FREE badges b/c people are stuck at home. There was even a couple that said they got comfort from doing badges. So Pogo gave them something to keep them busy.
Unfortunately those of us that didn’t ask are getting stuck with the requirements also.
Suz
KarePackage says
Giving free badges because people are asking is just fine. BUT, they don’t have to make the requirements unrealistic. We do have to sleep to stay healthy. π
LibraryLady75 says
Is it possible to replay old levels in Snowbird? The levels I’m at are difficult enough to win, let alone having 5 cards left over.
MomsBassetHound says
Once you complete the first 100 levels you can play random levels.
Good Luck!
Suz
ruth landers says
How do you get back to the first levels in snowbird . i am at 118?
Tommi says
Hi Suz – I have completed 115 levels so far and I am trying to figure out how to play certain levels again. When I go back to the first part of the Island – I just get a random level – is this what you mean? If there is a way to replay a certain level, I would appreciate anyone’s assistance in how to do that.
Also – I did complete a game with 5 cards left and it didn’t count – I then noticed the requirement noted “more than” 5 cards, so I guess that 6 would have to left. Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks so much,
Tommi
Kathy says
Hi tommi you got back to the 1st part of island you get a message play again there are random levels just as it says random… you dont like the layout get out and get a new layout it will random like Quinns.. … you have 6 or more cards to win a game for this badge …
MomsBassetHound says
Yes, they are random, you don’t get to choose levels.
As long as you went to the event main page before entering the game it should have counted. I only have done it once, and honestly don’t remember if I had 5 or more cards left.
Good Luck!
Suz
Tommi B says
Thanks so much – I had a feeling it was like Quinn’s. I may try again tomorrow, but still doubt 60 games with 6+ cards left..UGH
Tommi
bigfun says
I’m only at level 52, so I don’t know if I’ll try this…some of these levels take too many tries to just complete, let alone leave 5 cards
Theresa D Schroeder says
I am at level 67 in snowbird solitaire. I’d like to just win levels to get to 100 and then play random puzzles. Uggghhh ~ I’ve spent a few gems and guess I will have to do some, but only if they help me get 6 or more cards left.
Mike says
Not until you complete 100 levels, and even then you get a random level.
Mags says
You say we have to complete 100 levels how to you get to the random games, I’m not getting random games it sends me back to the level I’m already at. can you please advise me, thanks
jan says
when you load the game, go back to the beach which is the first batch of levels. you have to manually select it each time
DeeVermont says
For the first time I am NOT doing this challenge because of Snowbird Solitaire. Leave 5 cards? No thanks.
sashca2002 says
i’m trying too figure out how too repeat levels in Mahjong Sanctuary but I can’t do it. i’m so sick of this game. I don’t have enough gems and the money too buy gems too get feathers too help me out. i’m on level 434.
MomsBassetHound says
As long as you have spent your stars fixing up the animal areas you can repeat levels.
Look down the bottom, towards the right hand corner. You should see a circle with an arrow in it. Just click on that and pick the level you would like to replay. Level #4 is the first level with flowers.
Good Luck!
Suz
v says
should be able to replay levels in Sanctuary. Just to the left of the level indicator there is a little box with an arrow that goes around in a circle. use that to replay levels.
Frann says
Click on the button to the left of the Level button and you can choose any level to replay.
helcatfaust says
Sascha, to replay the levels hit the half cirlce button on the lower right it takes you to all the levels. The flowers appear in level 4. Just aim to play until you get all four flowers matchedj then start new game. You don’t have to finish the game to get credit for the flowers. Hope this helps
CheekyVirgoVixen says
Sashca, since youβre further ahead in Mahjong Sanctuary like I am, I recommend playing Level 229. The layout is designed where you will see most of the tiles before playing, and in some cases I made 3 perfect flower matches within 5 moves. If I didn’t like the layout Iβd hit βRetryβ to get a fresh one. Yes, itβs a slog, but it went quickly. Good luck and stay safe and healthy.
Alimia says
Snowbird Solitaire: You cannot have 5 cards left when level is asking to “Clear all the cards” and can’t play random.
MomsBassetHound says
It says have 5 cards left in your stock pile. That’s the deck at the bottom, and it shows how many cards you have left.
They are not talking about the cards that you need to clear.
Good Luck!
Suz
SlperaP says
Clear all cards on the playing board, not in the draw pile.
Regina93063 says
The 5 cards left are in the draw pile, not on the board, so you can clear all the cards and still have the 5 cards left…and you can play random…once you reach level 100. Personally, I don’t like the game. I find it tedious compared to the rest of the solitaires…maybe it’s the old birds…who knows…maybe it’s the beach when I’m stuck in Minnesota…could be.
Good luck…stay well!
AJ says
I can’t play random either, but it’s asking you for 5 dealer cards left NOT the cards on the board, hope this helps you.
Mary says
They mean in your draw pile I think.
Little Wrinkle says
No worries, the badge is asking for at least 5 cards to be left in the stock pile- as in, the little pile on the bottom that you click to get a new card.
Kathy says
if you read Momsbasset hound comments.. above you need to play about 100 levels example the beach
then it says play again .. .there you get randon levels.. like Quinns.. no choice gl
Naned1P says
On Snowbird Sol. is there a way to go back – I’ve been stuck & when I do get through I’m lucky to have 1 card left. Any ideas PLEASE
Mary says
sooo if you haven’t completed 100 levels of snowbird, you can’t go back to easier levels? Guess that leaves the forage badge undone. GL to all of you that can do it
tiggerlicious196 says
Correct, and even with 100 levels done you do not get to pick the level you play, it is random
mags says
I’ve played snowbird solitaire for over 4 hours and won lots of game but when I finish my last game it showed I had only got 2 of my 60 games. If I have to spend 4 hours every day for a week to try and get this badge, it will take more than 2 week, I have a family life as many of you do, this one game will prevent a lot of people not finishing this challenges, I think EA must think these challenges through if not I think a lot of people are not going to do them. These used to be fun to do but now some have become a real hard to complete in time. Also you cannot see your score until you complete a game.
Theresa D Schroeder says
I agree ~ I doubt I will be able to finish this in one week; if I had 4 weeks, it might be doable. It’s too bad they make one badge so difficult to get. They sure didn’t think this through at all. They have people who have never played it or play it on the early levels where you can easily have 5 cards left.
blueangelsr says
i totally agree.
i have bought extra cards and they didnt help.
i guess i will not even try
take care and be safe
BBNatBlonde says
No forage badge for me either. Love the regular Pogo Sudoku, even buy badges in it – and I really don’t buy too many badges. Used to replay a lot of badges, but guess that’s over. Anyway, even with the answers for the Daily Sudoku I don’t like it. Same with that darn Snowbird Solitaire. If we can’t even pick what level we want to redo (like in Mahjong Sanctuary after completing first 25), I’m sure not going to struggle to get 100 levels won so I can struggle to redo a level I didn’t like to begin with. Besides, that would probably take me another month or two to get the 100 levels done. Just like QA, if I can’t win the game (level) within a few tries, I’ll go play some game I like better (which might be Mahjong Sanctuary Level 4).
And BTW, us who have beaches close (live in FL), still can’t visit the beaches as most are closed. Plus first they closed the public parking lots so unless you lived real close and could walk you couldn’t go to the beach. But I can sit out in the sun in my own yard and read to my heart’s content, which I’ve been doing some. Glad I have plenty books of my own to read as the Public Libraries are closed too. Checked a few out a couple days before they closed. Strange feeling when the book isn’t due back until June!
BTW, yesterday was in the 90’s already!
Stay safe and healthy all.
Faith says
For the Sanctuary badge, I am playing on level 4. It is an easy level, and when you get all 4 flower sets, you can exit the game and it will count towards the badge. You don’t have to finish the game to get credit.
Renee Proctor says
well I don’t have a problem with Sudoku cause I can get the answers lol I really don’t have a problem with Mahjong Sanctuary I have 3 mix and match to play with it. BUT I do have a problem with Snowbird Solitaire. I absolutely don’t like this game. I can never ever leave more than 5 cards on a game except the beginning. but unfortunately I am on level 51 or so. This will be the death of me. I have played about 30 games and only got 3 so I am 3/60. Just have it as complete the game not have over 5 cards left. so frustrating so this will be the last game I will play if I get it I get it if I don’t I don’t . I was starting it first to be done with it but it’s just not working out, I may not even play the stupid game.
Sue says
I am with you. POGO really needs to rethink the Snowbird Solitaire challenge! The rest are doable….this one simply is not for most people. I am on level 52 so I cannot do random puzzles. I spent 7 gems (and I really am against that), to clear the board once…I am not losing all my gems to complete this one challenge. I have never given up on a challenge before, but I don’t think I can get through this one!
jan says
i agree. the levels are so difficult that this is basically an impossible challenge
PrairiesDweller says
Well! I started at level 79. Finished it on the second try but with one card left. π
Then spent 20 minutes not winning level 80! π₯Ί
No more for me! I wouldnβt call it βa day at the beachβ.
It is more like βa son of a beachβ badge! π₯Ά
JayArvee says
A day at the beach if you are buried in the sand and high tide is coming in. π
Cindy4764 says
LOL. A week or two ago I would have said I’ll never play this son of a beach game, lol. I didn’t like it much but I was at 60 something levels and for some reason I decided to continue to 100 so I could do random levels in the future. I made it to 100 and am now at 129. Who knew I’d end up enjoying the game after all.
But Wowza this week’s challenges are way harder than last week’s, in all three games. This is my plan for Snowbird, I bought the Kitty Cuddles badge because it is so darned cute and paired it with this one. That one was win 20 games and when I had that finished I had 12 of this harder one done. Now I’ll buy another Snowbird badge to do at the same time as this one. That way it won’t seem as bad to me. π
LRS says
OMG, too funny, LMHO!!! Thank you for the laugh and the humor, I needed that! LOL!
I too, agree that this challenge is too harsh, they could have just set it at – Complete 60 games (without the more than 5 cards left in stock pile), even that, it’s still a lot to work on.
patray says
Ha ha ha ha ha what a great sense of humor. Thanks for the belly laugh sure need it in this time o isolation.
wuzzie70 says
There is no way I’m going to get the Snowbird Solitaire badge done in only a week! Do the Pogo people who expect us to do these badges actually play these badges?? I doubt if they do! I am past 100 levels, and so I can get to the “random” levels, but so far I’ve been getting all the high numbers, like level 89, level 73, etc. They are very hard, and I’ve only had more than 5 cards left 1 time! At this rate it will take us at least a month or more to complete this badge! Come on Pogo, make these challenges easier than this! Having to win 60 games would be a lot on its own, but having to also have more than 5 cards left is VERY unreasonable! Maybe if we all write to Pogo they will reconsider and lower the requirements?
Good luck to all, I highly doubt many people will be getting this!
Sonja says
I’m at level 318 in Snowbird so obviously enjoy the game but gosh the requirement is difficult. Never paid attention to how many cards I had left. Playing random, but it’s hard badge. The game requires a bit of luck.
If you get an easy level, but aren’t going to have more than 5 cards left, blow through the stack and hit replay. Easy layouts can be rare and luck may be on your side on the replay.
Sloggy week, but don’t have much anything better to do!
GL and stay healthy!
FADEDWILDROSE says
Small blessing that I think the Snowbird should be worded 5 or more cards left because I got a couple with exactly 5 cards left.
Scott says
I don’t see any progress status for Snowbird Solitaire. I know I have only finished 2 games with 5 cards remaining, but shouldn’t it show me progress? Help.
Mutznutz109 says
I have no idea of whether I have made progress or not. I dont normally struggle with badges but I think I wont bother with this one as it is almost impossible. BTW I have done every weekly badge since Pogo started them and have no idea how to do this one.
WinnerNoBoss17 says
Snowbirds solitaire is one of the most silliest games Pogo created. They should remove it or simplify the requirements.
jan says
like button!
Anne says
The Snowbird game is sadistic. Worse than Quinn’s. Worse than Cookie. Way worse than Jewel. No two ways about it….sadistic. Oh, and I have 7/60, trying to beat level 62 which I doubt will happen.
shelnick9293 says
These are the worst requirements for all 3 games. It will would be okay if we had about 2 weeks to do them but one week?
Mahjong Sanctuary is 50 games whether or not you have to play the whole game.
Snowbird Solitaire is 60 games & it could be more if you can’t win with 5 or more cards left
Pogo Daily Sudoku is about 46 games.
None of these games are a favorite with me. Boring and repetitious but maybe more doable with less games.. I doubt very much I will complete all 3 but for those who do congratulations.
Hels says
Wow, this week’s badges are a lot more time-consuming vs. last week’s. It’s just plain unfair. They should balance them more evenly, or at least give long challenges in the first week, when you have more time to work on them. I love sudoku, but nearly 50 games in one week is an overkill, that’s basically 7 games a day. Snowbird Solitaire is not easy to win with 5 cards left, it took me a couple hours to get to 12. Mahjong Sanctuary will either take a long time if I play new levels, or will be deathly boring if I do it the easy way. Sure, I don’t have commute now and a bit less work than usual so I can play a lot – but I don’t like playing games to the point where I start hating them, whether I have time to do so or not.
bruce says
wish there was a way to go back and play previous levels in snowbird solitaire like in Mahjong sanctuary.
Christine says
Thank you on the tip to get to 100 in order to do random. After I reached 100 I went back to Original beach and keep backing out back and forth until I get a level under 25. I am half way through.
Not a fan of the game though lol.
catania1966 says
I gotta laugh because Pogo just advertised some power ups for Snowbird Solitaire – when you play between april 5 to april 18 – of course by then the badge will be over and the powerups only good for next silly badge lol
RyzandShyn says
LOL…I read that and said to the screen, “Too little too late”.
Shaking my head and laughing.
playcody06 says
I also agree with many here they give the badge free but where they get you is the power ups, pogo should make the games a little more easier even hubby having trouble doing this one and he loves a chanhellence but he says pogo is nuts for putting this badge out, maybe some of the team should do them ,plus the power ups in the pois are not the ones you need for badges I don’t use them kind as of yet but I will keep trying to get the snowbird ,I can go back to beach level I seen me buy pu and even with them it was hard but no more gems for that game good luck to every one on this one I may be joining the group of not finishing this race such a shame, pogo needs to listen to people and not make these badges too long and too hard
jigsawing says
Life is just simply too short to spend it on these unreasonable challenges. I do not like Snowbird but with a few PUs I probably could succeed during hours of misery. Now, why would I do that to myself?
James Ruffalo says
The snowbird solitaire badge is way over the top difficult. On random I got level 4 and I was happy but after 5 tries I could not win with 6 cards left. You only start with 15 cards. They must correct this very unfair badge.
missymiss1000 says
I email Pogo Llama today about how disappointed I am with Pogo regarding the Snowbird Solitaire badge and requirements. I mentioned that during these stressful Covid-19 times, we need badges that are fun – not ones that cause people to give up and potentially not complete the Forest Forage event. I also asked her to read the BadgeHungry comments regarding this issue.
She thanked me for the information and the heads up. I am hoping that there may be some changes to this badge, but not holding my breath.
weatherdudeVA says
I agree with everyone elseβthis week’s Forest Forage badges are too time-consuming to do in one week. They should’ve been last week’s offerings instead. They’re doable if you buy plenty of power-ups…which is the point, I suppose. That’s disappointing. There’ll always be other events! At least I can focus on my weeklies in my valuable spare time.
blueangelsr says
hi all
any hints on the best way to at least one game on snowbird solitaire.
im at level 60 can i go back to level 1 and how can id o this.
i cant afford to buy the power ups at this time.
i guess this badge is sothat we can all buy power-up
thanks for help in advance
tiggerlicious196 says
You can play random levels after you have played 100 levels
Faith says
I agree with the majority here…..the Snowbird badge is too difficult to win. The person who made the requirement for this badge should tell everyone his secret on how he met this requirement without using a ton of power ups…i.e., using money to win this FREE badge! No badge is worth the frustration of trying to win it.
beyechonjr says
i finally made the decision not to put myself thru playing games i dont like..i will do the dailies if i like the game or can at least tolerate it.. as far as the marathons etc i dont do them if lengthy etc.. and for the first time i didnt complete a yearly album because of a few lengthy challenges.. im not on as much as i used to be and am enjoying pogo more when i do play now ..
RyzandShyn says
Welcome to the Picky Club! It’s fun! π
mspatmac says
I think the Picky Club will be growing by leaps and bounds if Pogo continues with crazy challenges, I get a DNF for the Forest Forage and I’m perfectly fine with it. I think it’s the first event I haven’t finished. I love being in the Picky Club! It’s like a breath of fresh air. π
Cindy4764 says
If I remember correctly, you named it the Picky Players Club, or PPC, it has a nice ring to it. π
I’m still being picky and not doing every daily or weekly, or badge or marathon, just doing the badges I like. I did, however, end up doing the long Snowbird challenge because last week I decided I liked it and worked up to 100 so I could do random. I did this challenge along with 3 MnM badges of Snowbird that I bought and the Kitten Cuddle badge which was just too cute to pass up.
BTW, I did not use one power up when doing these badges. With the choice of doing randoms, as in Quinn’s, it wasn’t necessary. Unlike Quinn’s though Snowbird gives you a number for the level and I made a list of. dozen or so that I found easier to do so if I didn’t like the looks of the puzzle, too much water, too much sand too many pineapple skewers, I just got a new level.
I still like the game now but I’m not sure I’ll be ready for a Snowbird event on the 7th. Good Golly Miss Molly! LOL!
Lizz says
The Picky club is growing. I thought with a lot of time at home, I would enjoy playing more. I don’t. You have convinced me and I thank you. There is more to life than playing games I don’t like. Thank you Friend.
RyzandShyn says
I’m glad it’s growing. I have felt terrible for all the posters who are so upset about all the changes, difficult new games, enticements towards power-ups……everything.
I see being picky as the solution. If they aren’t changing, then I have to change.
It’s as simple as that. I want it to continue to be fun for me to play, and I’ll do my best to make sure it is by playing and buying only that I wish to do. They can keep the other stuff.
Change is hard, but it’s been well worth it.

beyechonjr, ryzandshyn and all others who are not working towards the final “Forest” badge — I chose not to even start the badge. I truly do not like either Solitaire game and the Snowbird one is just a way for Pogo to take our money (just my opinion). I am happy that I decided not to do it!!
Sonja says
I finished up SS and MS.
Sigh, I play one level of Sudoku everyday and wanted to see what the reward was for playing all 5 levels in March. Not impressed. But here I go again when I didn’t intend to. I’ve got enough stars to now to not repeat anymore.
These are not fun challenges.
Gonna post a tip again for SS — if you can get random puzzles and get an easy/easier layout and can see that you’re not going to win with more than 5 cards, blow through the rest of the pile, Forfeit and hit replay That worked for me well. The only downside is if you’ve got one card left and the last card in the pile wins the hand. It has to be played so no replay.
FADEDWILDROSE says
You don’t need to click through the card deck if you decide to abort a level — just click the “back to resort” button lower left. You then get the choice to replay or not.
v says
do not have to play if last card wins, can hit back to the resort, even then.

Finally made it to the end and now I can play random levels what I need to do now is to write down the easier levels.
Pamela McLellan says
Well, I completed SS. I had a fun badge that I paired with it as someone suggested and that helped. But I allowed myself to use gems, and decided I would not buy any badges for awhile. I like SS but not the levels that have several obstacles in one hand. Otherwise it is ok. I am not one for designing gardens or habitats , just like solitaire. Boy it took a BOATLOAD of gems and still quite a bit of time. I don’t have it in me to do the other two. I think I am done,. Buying gems to me is like going to the movies. I buy the ticket but then have to purchase a drink and popcorn if I want that. I don’ t expect that to come with the ticket.
Pamela McLellan says
Just wanted to add to my comment that I was only at level 57 so was unable to play earlier levels. Another reason I chose to use gems was to get to level 100 so I had that available.
Maggie says
Just my opinion, but if they made the badges easier to get, I would be buying MORE badges
which means buying MORE gems which means MORE money for Pogo. π
Not sure what their reasoning is behind making these badges so long or difficult.
noreen finkler says
if y ou reach level 100 in snowbird solitaire is it possible to go back to different levels to play and if so how do you get back to them thank y ou
MomsBassetHound says
You can play random levels, like in Quinn’s Aquarium. But you can’t pick the level you want to play, like you can in most games.
Suz
FADEDWILDROSE says
After you have finished 100 “beach” levels in Snowbird, entering the game will show you an arrow pointing to “jungle”. If you click on the “beach” section you can play random level from the first 100 levels.
skye says
well i do not know what is worse – snowbirds or quinn – i just wish we had another week to work on it – so last week would have been better for everyone. this just may be the first one i miss getting. i really believe the people who make these challenges up do not PLAY these games.
WE ALL ALL IN THIS TOGETHER
MomsBassetHound says
I agree that they should have given us Snowbird last week, and then most of us would have at least given it a shot. As it is now, most of us may not even try…myself included.
And I also agree that NOBODY in Pogo has ever played these challenges. And if they did they were using unlimited FREE power ups, not the few that we have been given, or earned.
But remember, they’re listening π
Suz
typenstamp says
Yeah, they’re listening–in one ear and out the other. They don’t care one bit about how we feel and what WE want (or don’t want).
MomsBassetHound says
I’ll glad someone caught my sarcastic comment…lol
Suz
RyzandShyn says
They’re listening to the cha-ching from all the gems people pay for power-ups.
MomsBassetHound says
Not everyone that does every badge buys power ups. I haven’t bought any since I bought my way thru the tropical tank in Quinn’s, almost 2 years ago. I just read all about the game before I start playing, read the posts from people that give good tips on here and in the forums…FadedWildRose, Eggfarmer, OneHappyJoy. And then I play, may not always get thru a level the first time, but I eventually get thru with just game play.
Most games I still have all the free power ups that come with a new game. Sometimes I’ll use one just to see what it does, but then I don’t bother with them. But then I don’t really get to play most games to higher levels, always working on a badge, and usually a dozen more behind that one to do π
Well, back to work on Snowbird, won’t give up until Tuesday π
Suz
skye says
AMEN
DeeVermont says
I think Quinn’s is much easier because it’s a game of strategy (at least for me) and if I don’t like the layout I can either click restart or go to random puzzles in the Tropical Tank until I find a random puzzle that is easy.
Snowbird is basically luck, either one gets the right cards or they don’t. But I have to play a certain amount of cards before I know if I will get closer to winning.
Cindy4764 says
Oh, there is definitely strategy to Snowbird as well, I think more so than with Quinn’s. Sure, both tiles in Quinn’s and cards in Snowbird are random but in order to win some of the harder levels in Snowbird you have to strategize your moves somewhat to whether the wave cards are going to go up or down and whether the sand cards will open up when you need them. Also, those darned pineapple skewers can make you nutty, lol.
For these reasons I think Snowbird is a little more difficult than Quinn’s and while I like them both I have to be in the right mood to play either of them.
PAN says
SNOWBIRD worse! I can at least do QA, but Snowbird has me overwhelmed!
Debi says
I just finished the Snowbird badge.
It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.
It took me right at 20 hours to complete.
Good luck to all who attempt it.
Tricia says
I have to say, Pogo has finally done it. I will not be completing this quest. Pogo keeps creating these badges that require us to buy power ups to be able to complete them. So for the first time in my Pogo life, I will have challenges that I will not even attempt to do. Good luck to all!
Kirsten says
Finished. Worked on them a little a day which worked out better for me.
Snowbird Solitaire: Kept hitting new game until a hand w/out any obstacles appeared. If the cards flowed good, then did it. Most of the time was able to complete it, Took longer to find a good hand than it did for me to do it but still was a very long badge.
Mahjong Sanctuary: Used level 4 – hit retry until there were easy matches – very time consuming and glad it over, lol
Pogo Daily Sudoku: Added to my daily routine so didn’t take long and enjoyed myself along the way.
GL All!
Wolf Felis says
I am not skilled with any puzzles dealing with numbers but thanks to the answers here I have taught myself how to play the beginner levels without help. Granted its taken months but I did it. Now I am tackling Easy without help (failing miserably) but without this site I would be lost.
I am not going to attempt snowbirds its too hard for me and who thought that “moving” cards would be fun? Stuck on level 27 and likely to stay there. I love solitaire blitz once I got the hang of it wish there was a badge for it, that I don’t have to purchase.
Good luck everyone taking on this challenge π
Alan says
Snowbird solitaire is rubbish. Pogo has really done it this time. you have to get to level 100 to play random games.
I cant even play one game. What a joke…
how are we supposed to complete badges
DeeVermont says
I can’t believe I am saying this but I finished the Snowbird challenge. I started at level 40 and did spend gems on power-ups to get to 100. I had about 30 games won by level 100 (I didn’t keep a log). After that it was a breeze finding earlier levels and I didn’t use any power-ups. I was so sure I was not going to do this challenge but my stubbornness prevailed and I had to try. So it can be done but one needs to get to level 100 first.
For me Quinn’s is easier compared to Snowbird probably because that is how my brain is wired.
Now I can relax and do some chores. Good luck to those who are doing this challenge!
Rivahman1 says
My 2 cents re Snowbird Solitaire. Contrary to some comments here, you ‘only’ need to leave 5 cards remaining not 6. Those who haven’t completed 100 levels yet you have my sympathy. For those that have, go back and replay levels from the first beach. It becomes boring at this point. Keep clicking new game or whatever the game says to change levels. Any level above 20 is a waste of time. Even levels 11 to 20 are too hit and miss for me although I have gotten a few, sometimes with the help of the odd power up. Concentrate on getting levels 1 to 10 for guaranteed results. As I said it becomes boring but I figure I was completing 5 levels every 20 or 25 minutes so it can be done with a little effort and a lot of patience.
Mozartjea says
Your comment is not correct. You need to have 6 or more cards remaining on the draw pile in order to get credit for the Forest Forage Snowbird badge.
And any game from the beach 100 games is a viable candidate for meeting the badge criteria. I even won level 99 with credit towards this Forage badge. It all depends on “luck of draw” for the board layout and the draw pile cards.
Julia
jeff says
Its definately 5 cards left not 6…I completed it on 2 accounts….its 5 i’m 100% positive
MomsBassetHound says
I got credit for 5 cards left 2 games in a row, so I think the badge requirements are written wrong…imagine that π
Suz
Mozartjea says
Well, then pogo has revised the requirements since day one, because I did not get credit on the first day I played for the badge. Imagine pogo revising the requirements and not notifying anyone…that’s par for pogo.
Julia
Rivahman1 says
It’s only 5 cards. I got credit numerous times.
mookermom11 says
I agree that Pogo changed/tweaked the game after Day 1. I noticed by Thursday the game was much easier to play and I was already at the 100th level on both days.

MomsBassetHound says
The Treasure Chase badges are coded as weekly badges. They are included in the count on the weekly album cover, but not shown inside the album.

MomsBassetHound says
You have to go to the main page for the event, then go to 1 of the games, complete a game, and then you should see your progress when clicking on the B on the right.
Good Luck!
Suz
Wanda Jones says
well I apologize but I know how to find my progress, it just is not showing. I play pogo every single day but I’m quite put off by this not being able to see any progress with only now til the 7th left and I am only halfway
MomsBassetHound says
But did you go to the main page of the event before you went into the game? You need to do that for every single game, not just once to see the clues.
If you’ve done that you will have to contact customer service. We are all just members like you, no Pogo employees here.

I finally got the Snowbird Solitaire badge! I didn’t think I’d be able to get it, so it surprised me that I was able to. Either I got better as I played more, or Pogo made the levels easier to win! Anyways, I just wanted to let you all know that it is doable if you stick with it. My husband and daughter are both almost finished with their badges also!
Good luck to all, and may God bless us and our country during this pandemic!
Sue says
Amazingly enough I was able to complete the challenge as well. I didn’t think I had a chance, but I played on not caring about the cards left until I reached that magic 100th win. Once I was able to play on random it became very easy to only play levels that were easier. I dismissed any random level that started with lower card counts or had obstacles. Glad to be done with this and it will be quite awhile before I play SS again!
jeff says
Here’s a little tip that not too many know about.
You can play this on 2 different browsers at the exact same time.
So you open say Firefox and Chrome then select play Snowbird Solitaire.
Both browsers will open room no 1 (or whatever room you happen to be on)
When you win a game on say Chrome you will advance to board 2…Firefox remains on room 1.
You now have 1/60 ( yes I’m assuming you won with more than 5 cards or quit to retry it till you did)
Now go to your Firefox browser and play board 1 again when you win you will advance to board 2.
And now you have 2/60 …you got credit for board 1 twice.
You MUST go up equally or you will jump to the highest board when the games won.
Say you open both room 1…n play Chrome till room 4 n get stuck so you decide to go to Firefox thats waiting for you to play..you win room 1..well since you’re on 4 in Chrome you’ll adv to room 4 ( if 2 ,3 were easy you just lost the potential double up).
*note …if you have a very difficult board and finally beat it (say on Chrome)..then leave the room in Firefox n come back in to be on new room with your Chrome account.
Hope that’s not too confusing it was difficult to explain.

This is sad. I have been a member since Nov, 2nd 2001, have 147,700,853 tokens and 4,229 badges. This will be the 1st time in 19 years that I will not be able to finish an album. This Snowbirds is impossible for me. I am on level 60. I have finish some games, but with one card left. I do not have enough gems to use and I refuse to buy them. I don’t think it fair to make us do that when we pay to be members.

When the Treasure Chase is over, the Treasure Chase Badges will be removed from the Yearly badge album count. Not completing the Snowbirds will not affect completing the 2020 Yearly album. π

I personally think that EA Pogo is having too many challenges at the same time, that take too long to finish, and you feel rushed to finish all of them instead of just enjoy playing
scarlet8715 says
I was on Level 51 when i started the challenge. By the time (and it took a great deal of time) I got to Level 100 I had 24/60. Once i was able to use the random puzzles I finished the challenge relatively quickly. As others have said the key to this is getting to 100.I didn’t think I would get, glad I stuck it out in the end.

I already had a mix and match badge started in this game that is not finish and the other badge won’t come up till I finish this one…I will not get it done in time to start the other badge and get it finish on time. If only I could cancelled this one someway and start the other badge for this week. Does anyone know if I can do that someway? Please help!!
tiggerlicious196 says
The treasure hunt badges are considered weekly challenges right now so no need to cancel anything out
MomsBassetHound says
This badge is coded as a weekly, so no reason it can’t be done. I had a M&M activated when I started and activated another one after finishing the first M&M. There is absolutely no reason they can’t be done at the same time.
Suz
Wanda Jones says
I have always been given an option of canceling any badge by simply clicking to activate another one. It always asks ARE YOU SURE
MomsBassetHound says
But they don’t need to cancel the M&M as the Forest event badges are considered weekly badges, not M&M, so both can be done at the same time.

Some interesting things I am finding out about Pogo Daily Sudoku or maybe it has always been there I didn’t notice. Anyway, I have a tendency when doing one of these for a badge I will go back and do older dates as I just don’t go into this game every day. Anyway, I have been doing that for this badge but just notice today when I do an easy one on a older date you only get 2 stars regardless on how fast you are. The times I did on older ones were faster then when doing the newer dates but I get 3 stars on them. I don’t ever remember it ever doing that before but like I said I might have not noticed. Since I am not doing Snowbird Solitaire I am not going to finish this one either. Well at least I got one out of three done………lol
Steven Allshouse says
just take a picture and then redo the game. any level use your lives, take a photo, keep working until you get a solution. unless of course you really want to play sudoku
shelnick9293 says
Thanks for the tip but no I don’t want to really play Sudoku. Cannot stand this version but I do like Pogo Sudoku. I only wish that was one of the 3 Chase games.
Jenifer J Piccirillo says
actually it doesnt matter how fast you are. see the green colored squares when you begin a puzzle? Getting those filled in before the green goes away is what gives you your stars. you get one for finishing the puzzle, and one for each green you get before it disappears.
shelnick9293 says
Thanks for that tip. Going to go back in again and try one of the older dates.
shelnick9293 says
Well I did what you suggested and it worked but I doubt I will finish it before tomorrow night as too many to do but I will remember the next time . Thanks again.

Snowbird Solitaire even on random – meh
I’ve played for a whole hour and got just two wins with 5 cards left.
Kicking this one into touch.
Barb Volpe says
Has anyone completed all the challenges? I hate Snowbird. Played over a hundred games and only won six. This is an impossible challenge. I completed five of the six challenges but they take forever. You can replay Sudoku over and over again and get credit and the flower challenge you can quit after you get the four flowers. and still get credit.
Cindy4764 says
Yes, these second week’s challenges were all too darned long, in my opinion, but I finished them. Before I knew about this Snowbird challenge I decided to bust my butt to finish the first 100 levels in Beach so I would be able to do the random levels (also in Beach).
That’s probably the only reason I was able to get through this challenge, I did all random puzzles and picked and chose only the ones that looked doable. There are definitely strategies to this game and I’m not one who usually likes games that require this much thinking, lol, but if you look carefully at the wave cards and the sand cards and plan your moves accordingly it is doable.
I don’t know about getting it done now as we only have until midnight PST tomorrow night, they should have definitely given this challenge the first week.
MomsBassetHound says
I agree, they should have been given on week 1, instead they made it so that they had a better chance of selling those precious power ups.
Mine are done also, but not going to say that it was easy. I actually enjoy the game more now than I did before being forced to play for 3 days. I like the strategy part of it, planning which card to take so that you can then take a wave card or a sand card.
Good Luck to anyone still working on it!!

I have finished all badges for the Forest Forage but SS. I tried all week, but I am only at level 44 and just cannot do it anymore. It’s a shame because I so wanted to finish this set. I worked on it all day and just kept losing. At one point I was working on 3 different badges on 3 different devices…haha. I didn’t even finish my weeklies , all for trying this one game. It wouldn’t be that bad if it didn’t have so many obstacles. I gave up finally and I’m not worried about it anymore. I’d rather go clean the bathroom. Good Luck and congrats to all that finish. Stay well.
Also, I was getting credit for 5 cards left, not 6..for everyone saying 6…it’s 5.
