2222 prizes? someone at pogo has lost their mind!
sirron1957 says
zandbmom, that’s only 148 games minimum. Not sure what Pogo is thinking with this one.
sirron1957
Mozartjea says
That is 149 games minimum only if you get 15 prizes in every game without any power-ups.
Power-ups reduce the number of prizes per game from 15 to 14 or 13 depending if you get 1 or 2 power-ups in a game.
So you could end up playing a minimum of way more than 149 games.

I have played 5 games and got 5 strikes the first game and got nothing.

I had to re start my computer for it to work! Good luck

pogo bowl and cookie connect went really quick leaving the rest of the week to deal with poppit. Can you hear my big sigh? Not my favorite game.
Have a great week all
Cher says
This Poppit challenge is totally ridiculous. I was hoping they would change the requirements but no such luck. We’ll all be here for quite some time. GL to all!
Cher 🙁
Kathy says
I got credit for pogo bowl and got the badge… took 3 games … gl
gerbear18220 says
I also got credit for Pogo bowl and was done in 2 games
Poppit is going to be a real pain this week, thinking of skipping it cause sure is going so slow for me
Kathy says
for the cookie connect I used level 2 and got the badge thanks Suz for the tip

I did the same and was HAPPY…thanks for the tip.

I think the Poppit challenge isn’t as tough as getting a specific prize. I have over 1000 so far and the beginning of carpel tunnel!!! GL
Cher 🙁
Bonstance41 says
I agree, both to the challenge and to the carpal tunnel. However, the carpal tunnel has been coming on because of all the other long HD badges we’ve been working on day and night so Poppit just adds to it. Besides, you don’t have to win the game to get credit for the prizes.
Bonnie
Life4Style says
Poppit — At least we don’t have to win the game to get credit.
ultimatetreebe says
2222 divided by 7 days is 314. So I am going to just try to do 314 a day and hopefully that will make it manageable….
Hels says
When I first saw the requirements for the Poppit badge, I balked, but now that I have started on it, it doesn’t feel that bad. It took me about 15 mins to get to 300, so the total badge should take under 2 hours. Too long to do in one sitting unless you really love Poppit or are extraordinarily patient, but not as bad as it seemed. And this game hasn’t been overused in recent badges, so I am actually enjoying playing it, at least for now.
MomsBassetHound says
Congrats, but most people can’t win 20 games in 15 minutes.
Suz
Surgeryrn7 says
I sure can’t win 20 games in 15 min

I still wonder if any one at Pogo plays the games for the badges!!! I adore Pogo Bowl hardly ever get a weekly badge there that one took one game to complete and i;ve been playing Poppit for 3 hours and got to 1000. oh well better than another boring marathon enjoy all.I do love reading all your comments
gerbear18220 says
I agree Poppit is not that bad, no where as bad as I thought it would be…
Once I got a groove going it is ok…. have over 1,200 finished but time for a rest now.. break it into sessions and it might surprise you like it did me
WCurry5990 says
Hi “gerbear18220”;
I did finally complete the Poppit Weekly after almost “6” hours. I also “multi-activated” a couple of M-n-M’s, but both M-n-M’s got done way before the Weekly. One M-n-M was to win “35” games and the other was to make “150” super pops. Because I would play with one power-up while working on the M-n-M’s, it did cause me to take a little longer earning the Weekly. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
MomsBassetHound says
I’ve only completed the Cookie Connect on my 2 accounts so far, but had a 2fer on both. I was lucky and only got 1 CC Marathon Badge on my 2nd account, so activated that with the weekly.
I also have a 2fer on Pogo Bowl on my account, the M&M for 88 spares. And I have a 2fer on Poppit too, a M&M to pop an outrageous number of balloons, think it’s 18,000.
Some weeks I don’t have anything to go with the weekly badges, this week I lucked out with 2fers 🙂
Suz
WCurry5990 says
Hi “Suz”;
Again thank you for stating you were going to multi-activate your Pogo Bowl Weekly and M-n-M challenges. In addition to earning my Weekly, I also earned my Bowl 50 Spares M-n-M. Most importantly, I finally learned how to set up a spare. Also, again “Lura” thank you for this great site.
MomsBassetHound says
I had 1 of those great games, and ended up getting the weekly in 1 game, and only 2/88 spares 🙁
Suz
WCurry5990 says
Please be advised that when I said I “multi-activated” 2 M-n-M’s with my Poppit Weekly, I did not mean I was able to activate both M-n-M’s at the same time. I first “multi-activated” the Win 35 Games M-n-M and once completed, I then was able to multi-activated the Make 150 superpops M-n-M. Sorry if I gave the impression I was able to “multi-activate” both M-n-M badges at the same time because I was not.
Lizz says
When you think it is 170 (if you win them all) games, it is not any worse than some of the others we have just played and replayed and replayed. I would rather do this. Change of scenery is good too.
Tom says
My secret to winning this poopit badge is this:
It doesn’t matter if you win, if you pop all the balloons, how many balloons you have left, if you use the power ups or don’t—- NOTHING matters, because after the game is over, it’s over. There are no stats in HD to be proud of (Or embarrassed about). 😀 Just pop the balloons from the bottom up mostly, do the best you can, but don’t waste time on redoing and use the p/u to get the last prize released if needed. Lastly, I’m popping only until I’m tired of popping… then go play something enjoyable.
GL EV1, Tom
Tom says
I also forgot to add there’s no tokens to get. 😛
Hels says
Well, for rank progress you still have to win the game, I think, but for this badge winning is not required. I find it more efficient to click through quickly, and if I have a prize or two left – it would take precious seconds to undo moves and try to figure out better ones with no guarantee of success. It’s better to go straight through. I am taking it in 15-20 minute increments so I don’t get tired of the game.
I timed myself out of curiosity – 10 games netted me 139 prizes and took 6.5 minutes. At this rate, the total time requirement for the badge for me would be ~105 minutes.
Amy says
Well I only play the games without stars showing because you get less prizes if you get power ups whether you use them or not.
Sonja says
After reading the comments, decided to activate Poppit since I have all week to do it and hate to have an incomplete album. Anyway, it’s not as bad as I thought, yet still a ridiculous slog. I’d love know what the reason was behind the requirement, but that’s a secret.
I’ve quit the latest marathon after 8 badges, so don’t have that pressure. But sure will have a bunch of incomplete M&M albums!
CanadianKat says
I absolutely HATE Poppit ! I am in hell.
shelnick9293 says
The Pogo Bowl one and Cookie Connect were easy to finish & I thought that Poppit HD would take forever but actually it is not too bad. I am limiting how much I will play at one time but even doing that I am at 1111 so should have no problem finishing it.
Erika Meyer says
Is anyone else stuck in Poppit? My score stays on 600 and at the end of the game it doesn’t even show the challenge. It started yesterday afternoon and I hoped that it is fixed this morning, but it’s still the same. It’s the same on every browser and in “Early access “,

I was just in a room where one player bowled 4 perfect games in a row. Looking at their profile, I saw they had 12 perfect games in their stats. How is that even possible?
MomsBassetHound says
When I was doing ranks I played in the evening in a room that had a league in it. They were the nicest group of people that I’ve ever met. I bowl better (online) if I’m bowling with good players. I bowled every night for about 18 months with these people, and there was 1 person that would get a perfect game about every 3 or 4 months. When you play that much, and you are good to begin with, it happens.
Now, I’ve never know anyone to bowl 4 in a row, but also wasn’t aware that there was a cheat program that would bowl perfect games. But it’s quite possible it exists, or it’s possible that they are that good.
But 12 perfect games overall is very possible, depending on how often they play, and how many games they’ve played over the years. It’s not a black/white area, it’s once of those gray areas. I would just congratulate them and keep bowling 🙂
Suz
Hels says
There definitely is a cheat program for Pogo Bowl, because a couple times I ended up in rooms where several players had literally hundreds of perfect games in their profiles and only did perfect games. They were all completely silent, too.
MomsBassetHound says
Well, the original cheat programs didn’t bowl perfect games. There was no reason to since there’s no badge, and they didn’t want to bring attention to themselves.
I know someone who has used a program since the beginning of Club Pogo, and unless they have updated their program, they don’t have a perfect game in their stats.
Suz
Sarah says
Yes there is because I knew someone who purchased it. Last night I was in a room with a group of people who I know had to be using the cheat. It was like every one of them bowled in sync perfect games one after another. Their scores came up at the same second and all ended with the same perfect score each time. I simply laughed and kept bowling in my typical unpredictable manner. Guess who was in last place every game? ROFL
MomsBassetHound says
I should go bowl with them. I bowl better with better bowlers…lol
My goal was a 275, my high score was a 266.
Suz
Life4Style says
I don’t worry too much about someone having 12 perfect games. That’s doable if they play a lot.
I get more concerned about players using a cheat program when I see that they have aomewhere in the vicinity of 1,000. I always look at the number of games they have played. But you do make a good point that some players who have a large number of perfect games usually have Private Profiles (where you can’t check their statistics).
Having said that, there is a variety of reasons why people are silent playing any game, not just Bowling. I’ve played with people who are silent because they are autistic, and they mute the chat. Some people just like to play and not chat, because chatting and playing creates too much distraction, especially if they are recovering from a stroke or something like that.
I’ve come close to a perfect game only once, and I ranked out a long time ago. I;ve watched the videos on You Tube and try to duplicate their suggestions — all to no avail. LOL
But I do know Pogo uses about 4 pin set-ups. It takes a lot of practice and timing to get several strikes in a row. Timing seems to be the key, because of the different set-ups.
Of course I always jokingly poke fun and say Pogo uses Super Glue on the pins. LOL
Kathy says
I finished the poppitt badge today and took 2 days.. I did about 1000 yesterday and finished it up today gl
Sonja says
Congrats! I got 700 to go and saving that in case the new marathon has it included. I sure hope not!
Pogo has recently had a habit of taking a slog into another challenge in one way or another.
You must be really sick of balloons!
Kirsten says
Finished. CC took less than an hour, PB took two games and doubled up with the Turkey Bowl badge and Poppit took 2 days did about 400 first day and then the rest the next.
Like that Pogo is giving us different games but the requirements for the challenges are getting so long and repetitious and more like our marathons. Glad they are done in time for the next marathon.
dottiedeedee says
POPPIT! HD PRIZE COUNT
The number of prizes is not reduced by the USE of power-ups — it is reduced simply by HAVING them on the board.
If there are no power-ups on the board there will be 15 available prizes. With one there will be 14, and with two there will be 13. Sooo– we should go ahead and use them to our best advantage.
Good luck all who are doing this badge.
MomsBassetHound says
Yes, if you get a game with power ups they replace the prizes, whether you use them or not.
I personally am not taking the time to back up moves or use power ups. I’m just playing fast and taking what I get.
Suz
Life4Style says
I still have about 800 more ballons to go for Poppit! I never thought I’d say this, but I think this Badge is worse than the one we had for the ducks. Pogo must have heard more complaints that players were finishing the Badges too quickly. LOL I hope this isn’t the beginning of a pattern because this one is a bit over the top.
Jon C says
Finished all 3 challenges
Bowling is the fastest and Poppit is the slowest
