Some veryveryveryvery cute badges, one of the nicest books I’ve seen in awhile. Love the WW ice skater and the Tumble Bees Grizzly Carolers. Also the Lottso Express Berry Bad girl feeding the birds and animals. The only one that gives me pause is LE, reach the 5th goal 10 times, yuck! But who am I kidding, I will definitely be getting this album though I am waiting until all the Christmas sales are over. I know this won’t go on sale but as a PBA it’ll stick around longer than some of the other Christmas badges.
Good job, Pogo, this one is a winner.

Patience and restraint are not my best qualities but this time I am going to wait two days to see if this album is included in the 50% off albums Thursday. Since we could use the free m&m for the Christmas Ornament badges I’m hoping this album will be included in the 50% off. Fingers crossed. 🙂

I made it to round 5 7 times last night and got credited for only 1 ..

When you see it go from 4 of 5 to 5 of 5 that does NOT mean you have reached the 5th goal. It means you are starting the 5th goal and you reach it when you get to 11,000 points.
There is nothing wrong with the scoring on the game.

Suz, if they made Lottso easier to win, you could have fooled me. I was able to complete the fifth goal in the Flash version regularly and know all the tricks. I’ve been trying for many hours over the last few days to complete the fifth goal and haven’t been able to.
What bothers me is the badge says: “Reach the fifth goal”. It doesn’t say to complete it. I’ve reached the fifth goal. I know that means it says 5 of 5 to reach it. I’ve gotten within 2 points of completing it. That really annoyed me! 🙂 If they wanted us to complete that goal, that’s what the directions should say.
I may well not be able to complete this PBA and that would a first for me since I joined in 2007.

It was much worse when it was first released. Until the fix I was only able to win 1 game. After the fix I won 2 of the 3 games I played.
They have always used this wording, even in the Java version. The goal of level 5 is 11,000 points, and you need to reach the 5th goal. They should just state the number that is necessary. That would fix the problem once and for all.

The only time I’ve been thankful for the HD games was it meant (I thought) that I would never have to play LE again! I guess they surprised me. I can’t imagine anyone asking for this game.
But anyway, I started with LE in the album because I hate it so much. I’ve played seven games and got to the fifth goal once. I’ve stopped playing now. I may just let this game go and let it sit without filling it up until sometime after Christmas. I don’t have time to play a game I hate right now. But I’ll probably have lots of time after the Holidays.

Great games in this one, picked it up right away =D The only one I’m having reservations on is the Lottso Express even though I love the game I picked up a mix and match a while back for getting to the 5th goal or whichever and it was sooo not easy, this won’t be either but I will get through it…Just have to *really* strategize

Nice album and nice mix of badges but like others I am wary of LE. I do want the album although it can wait until I have the gems, it may hang on for a sale.

That is what it says, and to reach the goal you must score 11,000 points.

The confusion is in the meter.
When it says Goal 1 of 5 you are at 0 working on Goal 1.
So when it says Goal 5 of 5, you are on Goal 4 working on Goal 5.

After finishing the weekly badges on all my accounts I had 2 choices.
I could complete the Mahjong Dimensions M&M, a game I despise. Or I could work on this PBA, mostly filled with games I like.
My decision was easy and I’m now working on badge #7 🙂

Lottso Express HD – I just figured out why so many are saying that they scored 11,000 points and didn’t get credit for the badge.
You need to score 11,000 points while you are still playing, and have cards showing.
It is not 11,000 points on the score recap b/c that is after the game multiplier is applied.
I just scored over 12,000 while playing which meant I completed the 5th goal and reached the 2.5 multiplier. When I got the score recap it had my 12,000+ score, some other numbers from the game, and then it multiplied the total by 2.5 giving me a final score of over 38,000 points.
But it’s not the 38,000 that counts, it was the 12,000 I scored during the game that gave me credit for the badge.
And if the multiplier on the score recap is not 2.5 you did not win the game, that’s the only time it goes that high.

I swore off doing this badge and then a couple of days later the game came up for an ornament and I did well so I figured “what the heck?” I now have 9 of 10, but am so disgusted at Pogos’ ” How To Play” tags. Utterly useless.

You are so right, absolutely useless. After I figured this out I went and looked to see if Pogo mentioned it in the “how to play”, and they didn’t.
And when so many complained they weren’t getting credit why didn’t Pogo explain the difference between 11,000 points while playing and 11,000 points on the recap?
The least they could have said was that the multiplier would be 2.50 once you reached (completed) the 5th goal.
It shouldn’t be up to other players to figure out why so many think they are being cheated out of progress on their badge.
I emailed one of the Mods today after I figured it out so she could post it in the forums. A comment from the Mods carries more weight than one from another player.
I dislike the game so much that I’m only doing 1 a day, just can’t force myself to play longer than that…lol
