Tumble Bees HD is now available for all of Pogo to play! In this update of the original Tumble Bees game, you’ll be helping the bees make honey by spelling as many words as you can before the board fills with letters.
Tumble Bees HD has 80 ranks and 8 rank badges to earn at ranks 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80. Each green Royal Jelly tile you clear is worth one rank point.
According to Pogo:
- The game will have the same URL, but you’ll need to re-save the upgraded game to your Favorites List.
- All unfinished, activated Badges from the Java version of Tumble Bees will be auto-awarded to your account on a date yet to be determined.
- All Badges purchased (both activated and not activated) for the Java Tumble Bees will be auto-awarded to your account on another date yet to be determined.

This has always been one of my favorites. It’s playing ok but there is no bonus round. I’m not sure if I like it.

There is a bonus round even on easy but you have to spell 3 words of 5 letters in the round, then you go to bonus and spell another 3 words of 5 letters.

I played the game and same old Tumble Bees . It is smoother and you can just drag your mouse over the letters to make words…. i already hit rank 1 . You have play normal or hard to get to the bonus round…

Will only play for badges- The colors in the original weren’t as eye popping as this version and it doesn’t sit well with my eyes, too bright…Also the way Boogey moves is weird and is always catching my eye distracting me from concentrating much on the game itself though game play seems smooth, oh and the clicking of the letters is just a tad weird/off to me which I had to click a couple of times just to get the letter to light up

The bear is not as good as the one in the original game. This one looks too old. lol No bonus round on easy level. You have to play on normal or above. The game plays smoothly. That’s Poppit and Tumble Bees that play well. All the other HD/H5 games lag a lot and play slowly. They need to adjust the other games to make them run smoothly. Without tokens it is not really worth playing on a regular basis.

I enjoy this one. I never was a big fan of Tumble Bees to begin with but liking the look of this version!
I will agree with others that they need to work on making the other HD games run as smoothly as Poppit and Tumble Bees.

I really like the new version of Tumble Bees. Glad to see another classic (especially a Java game) revamped. I’m at rank 4 already and still playing.
I’m not sure why, but I’m not getting the bonus round after every game. Maybe one third of the time – I’m playing on Hard skill level.

I miss the dancing bear. This one is too heavy and looks like he can’t walk let alone dance. He needs to go on a diet. I’m also not eager to earn badges with only numbers. They could at least have transferred the pictures from the original games for the Badge levels. This has been one of my favorite games, but will probably only play mostly for weekly Badges now.

I like the game much better than the old one. I started on Normal and was able to win the bonus game. The old game was in no way a favorite of mine. I will probably play this one much more that I will my old favorite Word Whomp, which Pogo ruined for me.

This game was not really of my favorites and I liked the cute graphics including Boogey more than the game play.
They have completely ruined the game for me.
The bear is horrible and the weird way it moves! oh boy!
The poor bee looks tired or annoyed or bored or high, don’t know.
But ok, it’s all design, something I can get used to or rather something that you learn to ignore and say “I don’t see/notice it anymore”
But the game, at least for me, is too slow. It’sl like moving in slowwwwww motion.
You make a word, submit and the time the letters “poof” and have the letters move down takes fooorrr eeeevverrrr.
I only tried Easy and thought they simply got rid of the bonus round because i there are no more tokens and all you could win before was tokens…… What you get now for playing the bonus round?
I will only play this game for badges that’s for sure!

Old game all you won for playing the bonusround was tokens, my question was What you get now for playing the bonus round (in normal or above) if the games has no tokens anymore?
What browser should I use to have this game play fast? I use Chrome and game was slow slow slow.

I’m just happy they are just starting to convert some of the Java games. They have always been the most fun games to me.

I guess “Hard” is the operative word here. 🙂 I like a lot of word games but neither Tumble Bees nor the new A Way with Words are very interesting to me. I will play Tumble Bees for free badges and maybe occasionally buy one if it’s extra cute. I will play on Normal.

Oh My! No boogie dance for winning the bonus round? That was my favorite part!
I wish they hadn’t changed the way Boogie and Kiki looked…..I don’t understand why they think they had to.
Sorry, nessa, I forgot to look to see what I got for the bonus round because I was so disappointed about no getting the dance…lol.

I hate the games without Tokens. May as well play the Big Fish games on my own computer (which I’ve been doing a lot of lately. Even my old favorite, Claire Hart isn’t fun without those 4500 tokens at the end. No point in going for the fast clicks for bonus points…which mean nothing to me.
I will only play Pogo for badges now. Sad. 🙁

Hope we don’t get badges for the bonus round… that’ll be tedious lol

After looking at the How To Play, here’s Bonus Round information 🙂 (Difficulty doesn’t matter!):
Spell three words that are five letters or longer in a game to trigger a BONUS ROUND. In the Bonus Round, you’ll earn points when you spell an additional three words that are five letters or longer.

I just played a few games on easy and I got the Bonus Round. But to get the Bonus Round, I had to fill the Honey Pot a couple of times, so it looks like the Bonus Round is available, but we have to win a couple of rounds before we earn it.

i really hate this game now Pogo done messed me up from changeing the game i almost had rank 30 form in the old java game i am so upset i was up all night for this game never gotn,t any sleep they just had to remove the old Java from this game i be so so glad to leave pogo not worth playing anymore

I really like it, had been ranged out of the old one for a lot of years. The old one was once replaced by Jumble Bees and I loved that one as well.

I like that they changed how ranking works. I’ve been playing on easy and trying to buzz word. Then I go for short words with the green tiles.

Basically, I like the new game. It seems easier than the old version as I haven’t gotten near to the top, so I’ve won every hand, even the bonus rounds. What I don’t like is that the buzz words are much harder to come by, and most of the time they come near the end of the round so I can’t play many of the jelly letters. Second, a few times I’ve gotten two buzz words in one round and not gotten credit for the second one. Wondered if anyone else has had these problems with the game.
