Of course they release new levels *now* since I finished the marathon early this morning =-/
beyechonjr says
wouldnt you know .. after most of us finished the marathon.. played a couple and seems harder to me to get three stars.. managed to get two on a couple.. so probably will get 3 of the 6 badges pretty easy but will have to really work to get the 3 where you need 3 stars..but tired of the game after the marathon
Beverly says
These are not new badges, They are exact duplicates of coach badges previously issued for the game (no variation whatsoever).
PAN says
So they added BUT deleted San Francisco. What a twist. right?
MomsBassetHound says
San Fran is still there, hit the blue circle on the left, and then the arrow on the left.
San Fran is safe and sound, just used it to finish the Marathon on my 3rd account.
Suz
jjcestitches says
Thank You!!!! Now maybe I can finish the marathon.
Mary Zimmerman says
How do you reach extend stay SF? I finished with three stars and do not see new attractions. Completed the marathon π
tiggerlicious196 says
You start with extended stay Denver and will finish in extended stay SF
MomsBassetHound says
The extended stay was not an addition to the city San Fran, it’s a totally different location and was added at the end of the available cities.
Suz
Beverly (BBrown0316) says
San Francisco is not deleted.
Clicking the first dot takes you to Denver. Now click the white on blue arrow and it takes you back to San Francisco.
PAN says
omg thank you!
jennypoo says
ok so they added but what’s up with deleting San Francisco. I like a challenge but not in mid stream!
PAN says
I like a challenge too but deleting San Francisco and adding harder destinations was a little cruel.
jennypoo says
okay, so they added new ones but deleted San Francisco. A heads up would have been nice.
JayArvee says
Great! Now I can REDO the album Pogo gave us yesterday. βΉ
Fortunately I did not do it on my second account yet.
rodfrank54 says
I’ve reached bali 2 airport. I don’t know what to do. after I get rid of all the face up cards there’s only the face down cards left and nothing to open it. they all stay face down. How do I ever get out of there?
aslls11 says
They seem to have added a glitch with these new levels. I noticed this problem on Sydney State Library. I am simply exiting to the map and getting a new deal. After a while I noticed which card was in the wrong place so I could see at a glance which layouts weren’t going to work.
Caren says
Sydney State Library seems to have 3 layouts, one with extra face down card on top, one with the card with the ticket that unlocks the cards on top, and one with it buried. I just kept doing new game 3 times to get back to the easiest layout with the ticket card on top.
Madeforlovingguy says
Brilliant timing on Pogos part again lol. Why they didn’t release this at the same time as the marathon is beyond me. Thankfully I have yet to even start the marathon so have something new to work on but feel sorry for those who finished it.
sugarbarre1 says
i have not finished the marathon
as it wont give me credit
then forgot about it
need to try again
san francisco here i come
Catherine L says
I used San Francisco to complete all the marathon badges. I am so glad I got them done before the new levels came out because San Francisco is no longer there. I only redo the easier levels for badges.
Blysse says
Well, I still have the marathon badge left for removing 1,000 cards, so this’ll be nice to do at the same time.
nessa says
They didn’t remove San Francisco, is still there.
Use the left-right arrows to move through cities
If you click on the dots at the bottom, click the one to the very left which should be Denver, once there use the arrow on the left to get to SF
I don’t think they would remove cities just like that, each city has 2 badges associated and I guess those players that have never play the game before or new members have the same right to earn all the city badges, same as us “old” players.
it would be like removing China; Japan, India, etc in MEscape
But then again is Pogo we are talking about so anything can happen π
tiggerlicious196 says
For those stating they deleted San Fransisco, no they did not- You have to click the left arrow when you click the first dot, it seems that the dot could be covered by the shopping cart, brilliant designing(that’s sarcasm by the way, lol) by Pogo
Seska42 says
San Francisco is still there. Click the first circle to get to Denver and then click the left arrow beside the game board to get to San Francisco.
Faith says
At first I, too, thought it was crazy to add 3 new ranks after the marathon started. But after trying to do the first new city, I am glad I did the marathon on all 3 accts. yesterday in San Francisco. The first new city is extremely hard, and I refuse to buy power-ups for Jet. I will continue to try to finish the new cities, but Pogo is making it hard. I find they have a lot of same numbers showing and not many cards to match. And with the cards that countdown from 5 to 1, many times I never get any cards to match before it explodes. gl all
Joyce says
I agree with you on how hard the new levels are and I also refuse to buy more cards when always the 1st card will let you beat the level. On the 2nd level it took me around 25 tries to beat it and the 3rd level was so hard I just gave up since I always needed just one card and wasn’t about to use or buy gems.
Caren says
San Francisco is still there. Pick the first dot and then use the left arrow.
Amy says
Did anyone lose some stars when they added the new locations? I lost 1 star in Kyoto Extended Stay and 7 stars in Bali Extended Stay.
booboo says
Yes I lost stars on both New Delhi and Bali Extended. I was 3 Stars on both now 26/27 and 21/27
Amy says
I hope they fix it because I have already received the 3 star badge for Kyoto Extended Stay and Bali Extended Stay.
ChristinaF says
Yes. Looking over all of the cities that we had prior to this most recent release of new cities, I am missing 50 stars across 167 locations in 23 cities! I had completed all 23 cities and had achieved 3 stars in each location. Now, having counted stars in those 167 locations, it shows me having achieved a total of 471 stars out of a total of 521 stars possible. Why am I missing 50 stars? How disheartening! I hope that this will be fixed when they push a fix for San Francisco not showing up on the navigation bar of dots at the bottom of the map. Is anyone else missing this many stars?
ChristinaF says
I am also missing 12 game badges for completing the corresponding 12 cities with 3 stars for each location within those cities. How frustrating! I had earned and been awarded those game badges prior to this new release. How can they take away those badges?
Cindy4764 says
Agree with those who say the new cities are much harder, at least Extended Denver is. I had only one badge left from the album to do, 150,000 points, and I got there with still 3 puzzles left to do.
When the last Extended cities were released I got through them pretty quickly but these new ones have taken a book from SG, same cards over and over. All 8s and 9s for instance, and when you uncover them you get more 8s and 9s. And in some there may be 7 or 8 kings right on the opening page – some of them have seat belts…what’s under the seat belts? More kings. I’ve never seen so many kings in one place, lol. There were a couple that I did in 1 or 2 tries but the other 4 were awful. And the ones with “turbulence”? If I could see right off I wouldn’t be getting the turbulent card I just restarted it, no way am I allowing adding more cards to these puzzles that are ridiculously hard to begin with.
Needless to say, I won’t be hurrying back to finish those last 3 puzzles in Extended Denver. Some day, not today.
Cindy4764 says
I meant to say they’ve taken a page from SG, not a book, but it actually seems more like a book because they’ve plagiarized not only having so many duplicate cards, they’ve also used SG’s infamous “turn over 20+ cards without one useful one” method. I’ve done that in SG with up to 45 cards in the past but I don’t think these puzzles have that many cards.
RyzandShyn says
Yes, having the same difficulties here!
At first I was very happy that I still had some marathon left to go, figuring I could finish it while playing the new levels. Nope.
Cards under cards, duplicate cards galore, belts on every other card, impossible turbulence sequences, and tons of cards left on the board at the end of the game.
They tweaked this game something awful! Shame on them.
Roni says
Well you got one farther than I did. I completed the 150000 points badge with Denver 2 Wild Horse and still cannot pass it. It’s a pity, I was looking forward to more levels and now I’ll only return for a weekly or such.
nessa says
I can not even go pass the very first puzzle, Rocky Mountain 2!! lmbo
I have played it some 15 times, I know, not that many for some but for me is a lot more than the replays I’m willing to do before I give up and stop playing a game ( is usually 10 and no more). Sure enough not going to buy one single power up.
I simply can’t believe how they tweak the games to make them impossible to win, maybe they are selling more power ups but they sure are also running more and more players away, not only from the games but from the site.
LindaC says
I’ve looked all over — someone on here said there was a level she played because it had enough cards to get a large streak going…..does anyone know or remember seeing that. Thank you!
Lura says
There are a few mentions of it on the Marathon post. Here’s one:

LindaC says
Thank you very much!
afriend says
All I know doing the 1st new one seems so long. I couldn’t even
run through them all with redoing them lots. Not looking forward
to these.
Sonja says
I had no idea what “extended stay” levels are. Lol, Pogo could release those anytime and I wouldn’t care! Denver is crazy hard and got through 3 levels after many tries. I give up, game isn’t interesting in the first place and now my curiosity is satisfied. Please Pogo, don’t make extended stay level a weekly challenge!
Faith says
I agree. I give up. Tried all day to get through at least the first new city, but can’t manage the last stop in Denver extended. Unless Pogo changes the new city, that is where I stop. π gl all
typenstamp says
I already have 3 stars on all of San Francisco. Extended stay badge was not automatically awarded. How do you get it?
Sonja says
I was confused too. It’s a totally separate level and haven’t unlocked it, Probably never will. Another power ups grab. Sigh.
Caren says
It isn’t after San Francisco, it is at the end after you finish all the other levels.
typenstamp says
Thanks for the info. I guess I’ll never see it because I’ve been stuck on Denver forever. Don’t like the frustration so will only play the lower levels in the future. Same goes for cookie connection.
afriend says
For me Denver got way worse. Those multiple belts. The exploding
cards. Finding nothing to get rid of anything hardly. I’m stuck on the
state capital. I was stuck on wild horse forever then suddenly got the
cards I needed same with next level but this nada is coming and not
buying pu’s with most of the cards left what would be the use anyway!!!
If it’s a badge again there are always cities I’ve won already. To me
they ruined this game and yes seems like another for pu’s but no thanks!
HOCK9952 says
Well, I’d been stuck in Quinn’s Aquarium & Jewel Academy so I guess it’s only fitting that now I get stuck in Denver in Jet Set Solitaire. LOL
I’ve read that some players have to do a round 60 or 64 or 70 times in order to advance so I don’t feel so badly now. I have stopped for a brief hiatus at 35 attempts though. LOL
Cindy4764 says
I’m on the State Capital as well, like afriend above, and I’m showing 71 attempts, like some of the folks HOCK knows. Granted probably more than half of those are immediate restarts as soon as I could see I wouldn’t get the turbulence card because No Way am I going to attempt it with added cards.
I’ll pick away at these periodically because at least they’re short and it doesn’t take long to lose, lol. It’s not like getting through ME timed puzzles or the Challenge puzzles at Quinn’s where they are so huge and you get to the last few tiles and find out you can’t finish. However, it is quite annoying that they tweaked Jet Set so badly. It makes you wonder if any of the people who make these layouts ever tries to win one.

for those who having problems past Bali 2 airport

Kirsten says
Boy o boy the Denver 2 is something else. Have been working for days finally inching my way to the airport. If I ever make it, better find somewhere nice n cheap to fly off to for I’ll need the rest, lol GL All! π
