  1. In re Crossword Cove “HD”, can the puzzles shown prior to “05-22-’18” be played to earn the “3” M-n-M badges? If so, would those puzzles provide “rank” points towards the new “HD” game? Thanks in advance!

    • Yes, they can be played for the badges. And yes, they will count towards rank since the entire game and 90 puzzles are new.

  2. So, Pogo has pulled off another brilliant move!

    The enter key no longer advances to the next entry; have to use mouse to click to enter next answer.

    The chat has a major lag as it takes several seconds to show what I have typed, resulting in excessive typos.

    Brilliant, Pogo! This game is unplayable since I cannot use enter key to advance to next entry!

      Pogo said on Facebook that they got a lot of requests to have the enter key option back, so they are working on it. Hooray!

      I miss the enter key option a lot. I hope Pogo gets it fixed fast.

        The team has definitely heard the Pogo community of Crossword Covers express their request for the Enter button to return. I have awesome news for y’all about that: The team started working on that feature yesterday and we’ll get that updated into the game with its next update. As to when that is, I will keep you posted here on the blog as I do not have an estimated timeline quite yet. Thanks for all of your feedback on this. The team is listening and we are all striving to make this the greatest version of Crossword Cove!

  3. So I just played the new version and noticed no tokens awarded for completing the puzzle. So does that mean no tokens ever?

    • You will not get tokens just for playing the game, but you will get tokens for completing a weekly or premium badge.

        • None of the new or converted games award tokens. This was announced months ago. And it doesn’t just affect you, it affects all of us.

          • So, I’m confused. Phlinx II is a new game and it awards tokens without completing a badge or is my overactive imagination running away from me?

          • There are 7 HTML games that award tokens. That was before they made the brilliant idea of doing away with them. They just didn’t contemplate how we would feel about it, not that I think they give a crap anymore.

    • Pogo changed it to HTML b/c in less than 2 years nobody will be able to play any games that are programmed using Java or Flash. So it’s HTML or nothing.

  7. I Love the new crossword cove game ,but I love tokens more I play for token it’s bad that pogo took some of our jack pot spins away now no tokens ,then want us to by gems.Getting to costly to have fun playing games anymore .Don’t take our tokens away! Nancy

  8. I agree Nancy….Pogo is getting more greedy every year…I love games but I love tokens more…something to strain for….it’s a shame they have to resort to making us pay and pay…I am not a happy camper

  9. how does your score add up the crossword cove HD, after you complete last word of puzzle, screen popsup and says next but no points are added to your total

      • I think John is asking about rank points when he is asking about score and no points after he completes a game. At least that is way I read the question

        • We were never told how many rank points we received on a puzzle.

  10. They fixed the functionality of the game so now the enter key works like it did before, so now I like it as much as I did the old version.

    As far as the badges, am I the only one who finds teeth on a crab disturbing? I am OK with it being anthropomorphic enough to smile, but teeth are something else! It also gives you a toothy smile when you complete a puzzle…

  11. I’ve had it with Pogo. This will be my last year with them. They are just getting so much greedier!

      • I agree with what you said. I to am not renewing my subscription. These HD games are a waste. We get no tokens but yet they want you to buy power ups. I didn’t mind so much when we were receiving tokens. I will not buy anymore without getting tokens.

  12. I am not getting tokens here (which I knew) but do you get rank badges and badges for advance if we do the puzzles from May 1? That is when it looks like it starts

    • Any of the available 90 puzzles will give you rank progress.

      I’m doing 2 a day, the oldest and the newest.

      • That would be an interesting question. How are we catching up? I’m doing 3 of the oldest each day until I catch up.

        • Once “Suz” advised us that we would earn rank points if we completed the prior “90” puzzles, I immediately started doing them and today I reached rank #10. Even though it took me only “3 to 4” minutes to complete those prior puzzles, I am very happy I no longer have any to-do. Good Luck “Yall” in re earning your rank #10 badges soon. 🙂

  13. When working on the 3 MnM’s I was disappointed to see the Enter key no longer goes to the next word. Then I saw on Badge Hungry Insider they have fixed that issue. At work right now so can’t wait to get home to try it and if it is indeed fixed will start doing all I can to rank up. 🙂
