The Valentine’s Day Badge Marathon has started, with Pogo_Spike gifting every Club Pogo member ten free Mix-n-Match badges.

To get your badges and get started, open your gifts and then activate them. You can activate right from the gift page, or from your latest Mix-n-Match album.

If you complete all 10 badges before 11:59pm PDT on February 14, 2018, you’ll earn a bonus animated Badge Marathon Badge. The bonus animated Badge will be awarded shortly after the Badge Marathon period ends, and it will appear in your Special Edition Badges Album.

If you don’t complete all ten before 11:59pm PDT on February 14, 2018, it’s okay — the ten free badges are yours to keep and work on at your own pace.

    • I tried to do the Clare Hart badge. No credit for ones I’ve already completed. Had one new free one and got credit for that one. Do I have to buy gems in order to buy the episodes to complete this badge?

  4. I love these marathons. While we all gripe a bit at Pogo creating new games that make purchasing power-ups almost a necessity, it’s nice to see them giving back with these free badges (and a wee challenge to boot).

    Personally, it’s a real treat, as I decided to stop buying badges – at least for awhile. I have so many unfinished albums, it’s ridiculous, and I want to complete them before loading up again. (Ask me how difficult it is to walk away when there’s a good sale – yikes)

  9. What is the Final Attraction in Jet Set? Would that be the airplanes?

    Most of them seem either easy or not too bad but Dang, 3 HOGs and the one I really dislike, Clue, has 12 levels without hints. I really really dislike the Find the Difference scene. Oh Well, I’ll just do Episode 1, that’s the one I always do.

    I’ll do the easy ones and games I like first, work my way towards the end but not sure if I’ll get them all done by Valentine’s Day. It’s OK though, I’m happy to have the ten free badges to do.

    • I used the Search box and yes, Final Attraction is the plane so this was easy peasy, 5 San Francisco planes.

      What would be do without BH? Again I looked at Pogo’s game instructions and of course Final Attractions is not mentioned anywhere.

      • The first badge they had for this they used the term “boss” level, they changed the wording when nobody could figure it out, except for 1 person on BH.

        • Sounds about right, lol How about calling it the Airplane level? I think everyone would understand that. Or even Final Flight? Final Attraction sounds like a movie, you got your Main Attraction and then the Final Attraction. 🙂

  11. Jewel Adademy, anyone knows of a level with tons of red jewels?
    Looks like this badge can take for ever if not.

    • There is no 1 level b/c the jewels change every time you play the level. It didn’t take long at all.

  13. i kept wondering also about the red jewels…tried to find where any stated about it but started playing i guess my red jewels look pink..but at least im getting credit for red somehow lol

    • The easiest way is using a costume with the color eraser, but with all the different power ups that come with the costumes it really isn’t difficult.

    the poppit bingo
    for the most gold balloons

    i have finished a lot of the marathon
    and that one is a drag

    anyone know a good level for them?

    • It has nothing to do with rooms or levels. The golden balloons are a power up that you need to use. You purchase them with your cactus cash that you earn from playing. And always use the Cactus Cannon at the end. It took me 2 games.

  19. I was hoping to spread out the marathon, but ended up finishing all 10 badges today.

    I really prefer this sort of marathon over the site-wide ones. And sure like 10 new badges gifted! A nice mix of games that Pogo must have put some thought into. A little something for everyone.

    Thoroughly enjoyed! Just wish I didn’t hurry it to complete all the badges. 🙂

  22. Is there a way to just choose the badges you want without opening all of the gifts? I really dislike Clue and hate having to do it without hints is horrible for me.

  24. for what is worth, for the marathon #3 pop all the red balloons , i found if you play easy setting. when you enter the game with the costumes., in the upper left hand corner there are three circles . the third circle is where you adjust the setting on the game.. i found it easier to pop the red balloons on this easy setting.

    • What does 1 thing have to do with the other?

      I finished it on my main account yesterday, and will be finished it on my 2nd account in less than an hour. And should have it done on my 3rd account by dinner.

      There are 7 days to complete the Marathon, and that can be done with less than an hour of play a day.

    • Pogo should have named this the Winter Olympics Decathlon Challenge:
      Finish 10 get a Gold badge, 9 Silver badge, 8 Bronze badge. ⛷

  29. Well, I have one left to do, the Word Whomp one, I saved the best for last, that’s one of my most favorite games. I love these Marathons! I hope Pogo keeps Marathons and Site-Wide challenges coming…bring ”em on!! 🙂

  30. Hi… Is the golden balloon a power-up if so do you use them in beginning or the end an how do they work please someone help me

    • You use the golden balloon power up from the beginning to the end of the game, as often as you get it. If another power up appears just throw it in the trash can, right below Spike. You are not charged for the power ups that you trash.

      And always use the cactus cannon at the end.

        • On this topic my mind is sharp as a tack, but on other things 🙂

          Here’s my basic Poppit Bingo strategy…

          Always play in the highest room available to you. The tickets cost more, but the rewards are much better too.
          Always play 4 cards.
          Always use power ups. I prefer to just use the golden balloon power up & the power up with the question mark on it. That gives you more prize balloons.
          Never call a bingo during the game UNLESS it’s 1 of the first 3.
          Always use the cactus cannon.

          I’ve made it to rank 85 using that strategy and have 3.5 million in cactus cash and over 100,000 tickets. I’ll never run out of either. And I still love the game as much as I did the first time I played it.

  31. Happy to report have finished the marathon. For the games don’t much care for, I split them up as to not get frustrated or bored with them. Most went smoothly in that the play went as expected. Others were not so nice and took much longer but still enjoyed all. 🙂

  32. Yesterday I was happy that I got 2 bonus badges on my account while doing the Marathon Badge in Jewel Academy. Just imagine my delight this morning when I got 9 bonus badges on Holly’s account while doing the same badge. Now I can’t wait until I get to that badge on my 3rd account to see how many bonus badges I pick up 🙂

    • You click on the + sign to the right of the lightning icon, the icon used for the power ups. You use your cactus cash that you earn from playing the game. The amount of cactus cash that you have is the number on the left.

      Do NOT click on the + sign next to your cactus cash or you will be spending gems.

  35. Almost done! That was fun! I spread them out so that it would be fun, not too repetitive or boring, and I really enjoyed it.
    I still have some Mahjong Garden to finish. I can’t want to play that more than 3 times a day as I don’t like it, but it should be done by Sunday evening.
    I tried many times to progress in Cookie Connect while playing for that badge, but it seems that game is bent on making us have to buy power-ups, so I eventually gave up each time and went to the early easier levels.

  36. Can someone “show” me where this golden balloon power appears and how I can activate it? I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Thanks in advance!

    • When you are in the game you will see Spike on the bottom right. When your power up meter is full his large balloon will fill up and show you a power up. You will also see a number next to it and that will tell you how many power ups you own. If there is no number that means you need to purchase the power ups with your cactus cash, and you earn the cactus cash just by playing.

      If the power up is not the golden balloon that you want you can just hit the trash can under Spike to get rid of it, and after you pop 2 more numbers you will get another power up. You don’t get charged for the power ups you put in the trash can. If it is the golden balloon power up you click Spike’s balloon and you will then see golden balloons on each of your card.

      You can see a picture of the golden balloon power up just click on the How to Play tab on the game page and scroll down towards the bottom.

  37. I finished all of badges on my main account with no problem. I decided to work on Cookie Connect but am now experiencing a problem…the cookies won’t move. I have tried the Edge Browser, IE 11, and Chrome. I also read the forum and noticed that others are experiencing the same problem. Only 3 badges left to go. Sure hope that Pogo fixes the glitch.

  40. I have played several Mahjong Gardens without using a hint and have not received credit. I did use undo, but that shouldn’t matter should it? Am I supposed to use a certain tile set?

    Any tips would be appreciated. 🙂

    • No, it’s just says to win a game using 3 hints or less. No specific tile set or puzzle set was required.

      I’m sure that I used the undo while working on 1 of my accounts, so that’s not the reason.

      Have you checked your badges on your profile to see if you have already earned it? That is the only place that is 100% accurate.

      • Thanks Suz. I waited awhile, then played without using undo. I don’t know if that had anything to do with why I wasn’t getting credit, but by not using it I got the badge! Marathon complete! 🙂

  41. Is anyone not getting credit for popping all the red balloons in Poppit! Party? I finished one game using the first costume “Spike” because he has 2 pins to pop balloons with. I popped all the red balloons; got them all, but it didn’t count. I didn’t win the game nor did I pop all the prizes, but I did get rid of all the red balloons. I must be doing some requirement wrong.

  42. I completed all 10 badges on time to receive the special award badge but have not received it.

    • Pogo Llama said it could take until the end of the month before the completion badge is awarded.

    • I just got mine too….sometime in the last two hours it was awarded to me.
      It really is an adorable badge.

    • I got mine as well but not the Monopoly participation background and i did the Wednesday badge. Must not have been enough to qualify for that one however.

  46. I wasn’t able to play during this marathon but I just noticed I never received these badges in my gifts. Can anyone tell me how to get these badges or who to contact in Pogo?
    Thanks for the help!

    • If they weren’t opened before the Marathon ended they were removed, and you can’t get them back.
