The Solitaire Gardens Badge Marathon has started, with Pogo_Spike gifting every Club Pogo member five free Solitaire Gardens Mix-n-Match badges.

To get your badges and get started, open your gifts and then activate them. You can activate right from the gift page, or from your latest Mix-n-Match album.

If you complete all five badges before 11:59pm PDT on August 23, 2017, you’ll earn a bonus animated Badge Marathon Badge. The bonus animated Badge will be awarded shortly after the Badge Marathon period ends, and it will appear in your Special Edition Badges Album.

  1. Would be a great help to all of us who do not play this game except for challenges, if someone could post each badge and what garden and level is the easiest to complete said challenge. ie–badge #1–garden “?” level “?”. Please. Good luck to all.

  2. Oh please tell me the game rooms I need to use to make this as easy as possible to try for this? I dislike this game so much and if it proves to be too much, then I just won’t try for animated badge. But I would like to try for it.

    Thanking all of you for any tips. I’d like to play them from hardest to easiest. I wish you all well with this marathon. You folks are so kind.

  3. What is the criteria to know if a level contains multiplier cards or not before you start?

  8. Well, doesn’t look too bad to get through. I’m thinking maybe 70 – 75 games total. (?)
    Got the Flower Power in 1 game using English1Level 55!

  9. English garden 1 level 55 is very easy for maxing out the flower power. Got that badge in one game.

  10. Its a shame that you can’t activate them all at same time like the other ones we had. This way you will have to play 4xs as many games to get them all done. I tried to activate them all & it said I had to deactivate the other one each time…:(

  12. I do not play this game except for badges. If it will help anyone, this is what I used for each trophy:

    Daily and Trophy #2- Garden 40
    Trophy #3-Garden 6
    Trophy #5-Garden 6
    Trophy #1-Garden 55
    Trophy #4-Garden 55

    I really was surprised that it went so well. Good luck all!

    • Thanks for your tips Karen! I was really concerned about the Flower Power badge as I knew I could probably muddle through the rest of them. I don’t really like this game & only play for challenges. Your tip about Garden #55 was great!! One game & done for that one!!!

      I’m at 3/5 so far & I feel like I’ll actually accomplish these now.

      So glad I came here & read the tips before total frustration set in! LOL

    • Agree with you on these except Trophy #2 I found game 2 was easier and took less time, 40 has too many cards.

      • Everyone will have levels that work best for them. I did all 5 marathon badges on all 3 of my accounts using first English Garden 5, 6, & 10. What works best for you may not set up well for someone else.

    • Can’t even get on Pogo at the moment and, yes, I’ve tried multiple browsers, etc. Other websites are loading normally.

      Crank ‘er up Pogo and put more grease on those wheels! lol Good for all that can play normally. Will try again later. Have fun.

  17. I completed 4 of them but I’m having the hardest time getting 2 stars. I can’t find a level to make it a little easier. I’m getting very sick of this game between the new garden that just came out and now the marathon!! GRR

    • This is going from bad to worse!! I managed to get 6 of the 12 2 star badge. Now it is saying 0 of 12. This is ridiculous!!

      • Same with me except I had 12 of 20 and now I’m at zero. I will try later. Looks like they are having issues. I have sewing to do anyway.

    • I used English garden part 1 level 55. Lots of cards but good for long streaks. Won and got 2 stars every game. Good luck.

      • Yes, I liked Level 55 for Badge #1 (Flower Power) and for Badge #2 (2 stars). There are more cards, but it goes quickly and you always get at least 2 stars, and good runs. I’m pretty sure I’ll also use it for Badge #4 (token collecting), unless someone posts another level and I find success there.

          • You aren’t guaranteed 2 stars on any puzzle. It’s all in how the cards lay.

  18. Am I the only one whose game won’t load? It keeps telling me to come back later. I appreciate the free badges but it would be nicer if I could actually load the game.

    • seems to be a lot of us having problems and lura posted that pogo is having problems..had read in the forums of others too so we just have to be patient which is not one of my virtues

      • yikes just looked and the completed ones have disappeared from my badges on home page and also not showing as completed in my mnm album…hopefully everything will return once pogo has found out the problem..

        • Badge that were completed will return, they always do.

          I’m glad that I hadn’t started, and won’t until I know everything is working like it should.

          • those badges came back and i finished the 5..also did another 4 badges in diff games and my total hasnt gone up at all..me and mg shouldnt delay badges being updated..guess i should hold off doing anymore..i usually dont notice if my count goes up but since the problems today with the badges disappearing noticed that the ones i have finished since i was done with solitaire garden nothing changed

          • Most badges do not update immediately, but they always catch up. I keep track of how many I do daily and my total is always correct in the morning. Badges in some games will update your total immediately…FCS, RDS, Poppit, the older games. You could do 50 badges and by tomorrow morning, if not sooner, you will have credit for every single one.

  19. I don’t play the game except for badges and therefore, I’m not at the levels you guys/gals suggested for the challenges, but today I just can’t get the game to load and stay working. Its taking forever and just spinning around so I think its pogo and this game only. I was able to do my other badges ok, so I don’t think I’m gonna bother worrying about this marathon…Would like to get the DAILY done though and thats not going well either. Will try later. Thanks for tips all.

  20. I was doing levels (badge #3) and was up to 10 when the game froze. Now it says I have 0…..I sure hope I get those levels back!!! I looked, and I have the 2 badges for levels 5 and 10.

    • I kept my progress of 18/20 levels (though I completed 23 levels, some didn’t count). But now it shows all the badges in that game as not completed, and I completed all but a couple dozen of them! Freaky. I hope they fix all the issues soon.

      • I spoke too soon. Now my progress is erased as well as the badges. Though at least I can still see the badges I have earned in my profile and in Badge Central. So I have a hope that it will all be properly returned to normal when they finish fixing the game.

  21. I’ve got all 5 done, took about 3 hrs, but went back to check my badges and their all gone, even checked a friends that she had done, hers disappeared as well, my badge total is correct, but the badges aren’t in my collection, maybe they will pop up soon,, HAGD ev1 GL Gaming

  23. i was doing a badge left to eat come back mine was set back to zero. i having a hard time as is dont need to go back to start not going to touch till its fixed

  24. Yes, definitely something bad happening over there in Pogo. It took a long time for the Pogo site to even load, SG will not load at all, and when I first looked at my earned badges the four ME and two SG I earned yesterday weren’t showing. Now they have popped up but I can’t get SG to load either on my Mac desktop or on my iPad. It’ll be a little difficult to do the challenges if I can’t even get the game to load. 🙁

    I guess I won’t bother trying until they get this fixed. I can only imagine how the game will be acting even if I do get it loaded.

  28. Was doing great on the badges till Pogo went down and now that it is loading I’m not getting credit and LOST 3 stars on 2 levels! Typical Pogo grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  29. I’ve completed all 5 on my account and probably didn’t take 3 hours. I only used the first English Garden b/c that’s the only puzzles I have done on my other 2 accounts. Since I know my other accounts only have about the first 15 or 20 puzzles done I only used the first 10 doing the 5 badges. That way I knew I could do it on my other accounts with no problem.

    I only used puzzle #5, #6, & #10 in the first English Gardens and have completed all 5 badges. And no power ups were used. I restarted a lot of puzzles, but expected that.

  31. Done with all 5 badges. It took between 3-4 hours. Really never noted the time; was busy with dinner, laundry, and dishes in between the badges. I took in all the advice offered on BH.

  33. I am not getting credit for one of my badges!!! It shows that it needs to be activated and I am bummed. I will shut my computer down for awhile and see if it comes back. It was the one with the winning 2000 tokens and took me awhile to get. Hope it shows tomorrow.

    • Oops. I just had to wait………..it is there now. Me of little patience… I have been playing and there is no one in the rooms and I never see my progress, so figured I might not get it.
      I am one happy camper. I will finish my last one tomorrow when not so many people are working on it….

  34. Mine are all back too and challenge done.

    Off the record, does anyone know if they have run out of the M&M badges for finishing an album. I am missing one and if they would give it to me, I would have exactly 7,000 badges. I now stand at 6,999 without it, Hopefully that too will get fixed.

    • No, there’s 106 that I’m aware of. Try doing both of the daily challenges, or redo a badge in that album. Recently the completion badges have been getting stuck.

      • |Thanks Suz, tried to shake it down from the trees by doing a repeat in that album but that didn’t work either. Still don’t have it but I have contacted Pogo and they are taking their own sweet time. I don’t think it takes a rocket scientist to see they have not given me the badge. If the last badge I did in that album is Clue and there is no completion badge at any point after that badge shows up in my list of badges, then it is missing. But try to tell them that, LOL.

  35. Thank you all for the great tips to achieve this marathon. It took me at least 5 hours to complete on just 1 account. This is definitely not my game of choice, but I would not even have tried for it without all your wonderful help.

  36. One of the things that makes it easier to find the garden number is that they are numbered. I wish Mahjong Escape was that way. 🙂 Thanks to all the people who helped me out and gave me your gardens of choice, they were a BIG help for me. I’m awful at this game!

    I finished last night which was 6 days sooner than I thought it would be!!! 🙂

  38. Having so many tips posted here on BH made this marathon easier than first thought. Finding my groove with the game was slow at first but once I found a good garden ( English 1 level 6), I stuck with it except for the max flower meter ( English 1 level 55 ).

    Found it interesting I only got 3 games with 3 stars in all of the games played. Some where 3 stars were already received only could get 1 or two.

    Thanks to All the BHers for posting their very helpful tips for I would not have completed this without pulling my hair out!

    With the help of this marathon, was able to get into the 1000 badge group with completing 1003 badges to date 🙂

  41. Just wracked up 18 badges doing the Solitaire Gardens marathon! Will get #19 when the bonus badge is awarded. Thanks BH commenters for all of the tips, and Pogo for the extra incentive to finish the newest garden.

    • Debbie, I also wracked up 18 badges, one was the last one on Greek Garden 1 and then all 12 on Greek Garden 2, plus the 5 marathon badges. Now I am all caught up and will soon be waiting for the 15th of next month for a new garden!

  42. Okay that was painful but not as painful as it could’ve been without all the helpful input. Thanks very much fellow BH’ers! SG will never be on my favorites list but maybe I can knock out some of the badges I’ve left undone for so long simply because I’ve a better understanding of the game.

  43. I finished my Badge Marathon last night, thank you all for the tips. I worked on level 55 part 1 to max out my flower power and got my badge in one game, the rest of the badges I played on level 6 part 1, again thank you all for the tips. 🙂

Well I’ve gotten these done on 3/6 accounts(family members and my 2) and I’ve never really cared for the game, but I actually am getting into it =) None of the accounts have level 55 in English Garden part 1 unlocked, so I’m doing that and the 20 levels badge first, then the 2 stars, then going from there…It’s been quite tedious, but I’m lovin’ it(and my mom says I’m a glutton for punishment- She’s right, haha!)- These badges aren’t as bad as I thought they’d be and I find I’m having a blast working through them =)

  46. Whoo-Hoo! I went from dreading this to finishing it. I’m not saying a word about loving it, because that’s another story 🙂 I did use my seed winnings to get two happiness badges, so that was a pleasant bonus.

  47. i completed the August Marathon . I used English garden no 1 part 6 for Master Trowel 2,3,5,1,4 . and use 55 for no 4… very easy to complete. it was not as bad as everyone said it was going.i love the shorter marathons.

  50. Slow and steady I guess. I’ve got 2 badges left. Trowel 2 and 3.
    At least if anything, I’m getting a few of the collection badges as I go.

    • Pogo Llama stated that it would take a few days after the marathon ended to verify all the information. Hopefully we will have it by Monday, if not sooner.
