Pogo has posted an article covering the news that Adobe has announced that browsers will stop supporting Flash by 2020. This will happen in phases, and Pogo has outlined the timeline in their article.
In the meantime, Pogo is working hard to convert some of their Java and Flash games to HTML5, and they’ve announced they’ll be converting Aces Up and Sudoku from Java to HTML5 in the near future. Pogo says these games will be “still be the same fun game you’ve known and loved” after the conversion. In addition they’re also working on converting Flash games to HTML5, specifically Trizzle and World Class Solitaire. And, it also looks like they’re converting Mahjong Safari and Sweet Tooth as well. And, on top of all of that, Pogo is still continuing to create new games that they’re sure we’ll love.
What do you think of the games Pogo has chosen to convert to HTML5? Share your thoughts in a comment below.
Thanks to everyone who wrote in with the news from both Adobe and Pogo!
