no strategies for these 2 games its all luck of dice or cards. i found a badge for each i can pair up with them from 2014. i just completed the 2013 album. i have 5 weekly albums completed. hope to have 2014 done as well im halfway there on that one. lets hope i dont fall behind on badges from 2017. good luck everybody and stay safe.

I like Yahtzee in a small dose. I’ll just room jump and forego filling in 4 of a kind in sixes or fives and concentrate on getting as much as I can on chance. Let the game run out and hop to another room counting down time and repeat. More time consuming than hard.
Not much strategy to Texas Hold ‘Em but to play bots and hope most fold and then hope for the best.
At least no arcardish games this week.

If you don’t care about rank or stats, keep a constant eye on “Chance” and hit it when it’s worth 24 which happens almost every game. . I’d forego even “4 sixes” for it. Good luck.

I went to play some No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em to refresh my memory. When playing the robots you can bet big and cause a bot or two to fold, which eliminates some of the competition, but since you still have to get a straight or better and win the hand (the criteria for the badge) I’m not sure how much that will help,
I’m going to try it though – get rid of a bot or two and hope I get what I need for the badge.
Good Luck all!

For the Poker Badge I will play 2 of my accounts against each other in a low rollers room. You can make a private table for 2 live people. You can’t open a table for 2 if you are playing against a bot.
For Yahtzee I’ll play the game normally on my account for rank, but will take the easy route for my other 2 accounts.

Thanks “Suz” for the tip. It took me a little less than an hour and a half to earn the badge. Good luck all!

I’m not sure if anyone is aware of the fact with No Limit Poker there are two distinctly different ways to play, which is done by selecting the Game Mode at the top of where you select a room, to the left of the Just for Fun, Low Rollers, etc.
No Limit rooms are the hardest and worst way to play, in my opinion, long game when you have to wait til all players run out of stakes.
If you choose the Limit Rooms, this is by far the quickest way, which plays similar to High Stake and Texas Poker. I’ve always played against a friend or used a guest account in Low Rollers to create a 2-player room. I don’t believe this game offers the option of Wild Cards, but either way, players can raise and raise until one player has the straight, then fold. You are not forced to sit in a 4 player game until the stakes run out.
This option is also the quickest way to rank in the game, again with a friend, as you can just raise and raise, then fold.

Could you explain how to set a 2 player room? I can’t seem to figure it out. Thanks!

Once you click on no-limit game, it brings you to an opening page. On the top left side, it asks no-limit or limit games. Click on the limit games, then click on the room type. And that’s it 🙂 Good luck to everyone

Sorry had a duh! moment there.
Forgot to say, in order for this to work, you need either a friend or a second account. Do not choose the “For Fun” rooms, choose instead either the low limit or other tabs, once there get a table for both of you (either your friend or 2nd account), start the game and make sure to keep increasing your bet. This helps a lot in ranking.
Good luck it’s a lot of work but well worth it

Got it! Thank you very much!!

I cannot see how to choose a 2 player table either. I chose Limit games under game mode, Just For Fun or Low Rollers, chose a table. I only have options of setting a timer and making the game private. Please help. I really am not stupid but can’t seem to find what your are suggesting. Thank you so much!

hopefully next week will have games that I can play

Two great badges this week. I will play along with my husband for the No limit Texas Hold’em badge. The two of us can work at the badge together. We always do multi player games that way. Days he is working I will double browse. So much easier. I never play multi player games against the bots.
For Yahtzee I will play normally for ranks.
One tip I have for Yahtzee. Play in wild mode. It will increase your chances of putting in a high score into the chance. A wild tile can increase score if you have a high dice value like the fives for sixes.
Good luck to all Wednesday with the badges.

I agree on the Yahtzee Party.. play in Wild Mode.
Click on the “Chat Rooms” tab and you have two choices at the top “Game Mode” and “Room Type”
I play in Wild Mode in Fast Rooms and then I pick a room with a lot of people because when you’re reaching that group goal of filling that Yahtzee meter quickly, time flies because I’m having fun.
kathy says
for no limit texas holdem poker, i play in the Just for Fun rooms for the badge
mbchiquet says
I will play both of these games normally as I enjoy them both and will play for ranks. Also have a few badges I can pair with each.

Question –
Since No Limit is not a Club Pogo exclusive game, can we just make up/start up a free account to play against?
No guest pass needed unless you need to play a Club Pogo game, right?
Thanks in advance 🙂
MomsBassetHound says
That’s correct.

Thanks. I had an account that had been Club Pogo on a guest pass, so I brought that up in another browser and practiced playing just the two of us…well, two of me…and with the ads it’s a pain, but the badge will probably go faster this way than just me against 3 bots. Of course the dummy account got the better deals.
Thanks for reminding us about setting up a room for two.
MomsBassetHound says
The losing account always gets the best hands…lol
Good Luck!
