After playing quite a few hands, I think WCS is going to be near impossible because the game deals the cards with the expectation that you are going to use the power-ups.
Sure, we’ve all had “perfect” games now and again, or games where we’ve only had to use one or two power-ups, but I do think the game deals with the use of power-ups in it’s dealing strategy.
Life4Style says
I didn’t find WCS that difficult at all. I just completed the game and it took me about 30 min. I just hit “New Game” when it looked like I couldn’t win the game, and or when I was left with no choice but use a power-up. I only sacrificed when I used a power-up to win the game and earn a couple of stamps.
The only tip I have is that I try to have a King of each color to build on. They’ll very often want me to pick Kings of the same color by hiding needed cards underneath. I also try to move cards from the foundation before picking a card from the draw pile. Most of the cards I’ve needed are in the foundation, not from the draw pile.
If you see a card you need from the draw pile you can reach it by watching how many cards you take from that pile. By taking less than 3 cards from the draw pile, during a hand, the card(s) I need will rotate to the top of the draw.
RyzandShyn says
Ok, I’m retracting my (above) statement. Although I played quite a few hands before my first win, the first win came, and then the other two followed pretty quickly behind.
I guess I was just in one of those defeatist moods…lol.
KathySNJ says
You were just ‘warming up’ ! π
I paired (tripled?) WCS with a win 350 tokens or more each game 3x (M&Ml) and a win 2000 tokens total (personal) . Once I got “warmed up” it went quickly. I only had to play one more game to win the dreaded 350 tokens a hand. My warm up counted towards my 2000 total tokens so that one just happened.
I am halfway through PvZ , my flash keeps crashing. I cleaned it twice, still happened, then I went to World Class. Worked fine. I’ll finish these later ( also have a Personal and M&M going)
RyzandShyn says
Oh Snap!! I forgot I had that 350 token M&M to do still!!! I was so worried about the 3 games for the weekly that I forgot to activate it π
Oh well, more WCS fun for me, and I can feel free to use the power-ups now π

I got 2 games toward badge, but froze after 2nd one & only gave credit for 1.
Brenda says
Sorry, that was in WCS.

2017 suns in a week? Guess this would be the time to activate the M-n-M badge that requires 2000 suns in 3 (THREE) weeks.
Madeforlovingguy says
If you use TomT’s guide for survival mode the badge is pretty simple and quick to collect the suns as you can build those up. It’s a handy guide for such badges and great for ranks too.

I am having trouble figuring out how to end the game after Round 1 and it give me credit. If I try to leave the game, I lose progress. Any tips?
eggfarmer says
Just let the Zombies eat your brains! Just stop playing – the Zombies will overwhelm you and the round will end

WCS was painless–got it in only 20 minutes!

Wow this was a super easy week. Got the world class in 3 games and the plants in under an hour.
Just lucky on the solitaire, I realize.
Jill says
WCS was easy if you just keep hitting new game until you have a couple of Aces/Kings. Easy badge.
tiggerlicious196 says
World Class will be easy for me, I did a premium badge yesterday and practiced without using power up’s, did very well for the most part π I at least for Plants vs Zombies have a personal badge to collect 1000 suns, that’ll go perfectly with this weekly, and I’ll play in Adventure Mode- I also when possible use the small mushrooms on the back row(if regular suns are the only thing I have I use those), then I use the other things to kill the zombies, though I believe I’ll do 2 rows of suns this time around =-D

Hooray!

I really think these badges are easy to end the 2016 badge year however Plants vs Zombies just will be time consuming. Good luck everyone! Off to finish this yr and I still have from 2003 to 2008 to work on and all 4 starter albums π
MomsBassetHound says
These are not the last badges that will go into the 2016 album. There will be 3 more released next Wednesday that will be part of the 2016 weekly album.

Use lots of Walnuts on the Plants game. It slows them down while you collect more suns. I managed to plant three rows of sunflowers and once I planted the freeze shooter and the walnut I could usually just sit back and relax. Occassionally needed the squash one for the zombies with the spears. You can tell I don’t like this game because I didn’t have a single badge in it. I had five including the rank 10, two more Wednesday challenge badges and a MnM by time I was through.

Tips:
In most solitaire games, including WCS, you can move card a card from the top of a foundation pile (the 4 piles at the top) back to the tableau (the 7 piles of alternating red & black cards) if you need to. This is not using a power up.
Also, it is more important to uncover the cards in the tableau than it is to use the cards you flip over. You’ll probably get access to all the cards in the waste pile at some point as you can go through the deck, 3 at a time, as many times as you want but you can’t play cards you haven’t seen.
(It took 4 games to get the badge today.)

Is anyone able to play World Class with Puffin, I can’t get the cards to move when another card is on top of each other.
walla99362 says
Duh! Light bulb went on – don’t worry about playing zombies….just work on getting suns….when you get the orange small mushrooms, plant lots…they sun up fast….occasionaly zonk a zombie with rock to keep away from mushrroms – get over 100 per level….

I am trying to play WCS using Puffin. I am away from home and only have my iPad. I can only get one card to move as a time. Does anybody know how you move more than one card at a time? If not, is there another browser I can download? Thanks so much for any help!
Lura says
I tried WCS in Puffin on my phone and was unable to move any cards unless they were double-clickable. There are some limitations and this might be one of them.
Ann1 says
Thanks, Lura, for the try. Too bad there isn’t another browser we can use. Thanks, again, for doing that and Merry Christmas!
Caren says
I tried it too. I was able to drag a few times but not reproducibly, so I tried the mouse tracker pad. If you click and hold a blue circle appears, then you can drag and drop. It wasn’t fun, I’d rather play on my computer.
PrairiesDweller says
Thank you Caren for the tip. This is better than my tip posted below. It is not fun but if a person only has an iPad available then this is the best choice. It is like eating soup with a dessert spoon!
How do you use the mouse?
1. Click on the top left Full Screen.
2. Click on the bottom right the 3 white dots in a gray square.
3. On the bottom will be 4 choices – click on Mouse.
4. There will be a Trackpad in the bottom left.
5. If you want to move only 1 card play normally.
6.If you want to move more than 1 card press your finger under the word “Trackpad” and move the black cursor to the top card of the pile you want to move. A blue circle will show up and the cursor will turn white. Press your finger under “Trackpad” and move the pile to its new spot. It is best to press your finger on the opposite side. So if want to move the pile to the LEFT, press your finger under “Touchpad” on the Right side.
PrairiesDweller says
Yes I can move a pile of cards in WCS on my iPad. But it is a struggle. Like eating soup with a knife and fork.
I do it this way:
I turn the iPad sideways. Then use both of my index fingers. For example I want to move a pile from 2-8.
I put my left index finger on the 2 and drag (and I really mean drag it!) in the direction I want it to go. While holding the 2 down, I put my right index finger on the 8 and drag it and 3-7 to to the spot I want to put them.
The 2 will reattach to 3-8. While holding them in their new spot, I use a finger on my left hand to turn over a card form the old pile. This prevents 2-8 from jumping back to their original spot. WARNING: only do this if you are extremely badgehungry! π To calm myself down I think: “This is easy compared to next week’s Poppit app badge.”
Good Luck ( and I mean that sincerely.)

That’s dedication right there. Thanks for sharing the secret. π
