Mahjong Garden – You can play with any set of tiles that you like, just switch over to the Pogo tile set before making your last match.

Thank you so much “Suz” for this tip. Personally, I am not very good at Mahjong Garden. Howver with the recent release of the 9″ Mahjong Garden “Skill Level” challenges, I have gotten comfortable playing the Animal tile set. I now feel much better in my ability to timely complete this challenge and the “End Game 33 Times In Spring Season” M-n-M which I plan on multi-activating with this PBA challenge. You are the best!

Should Pogo test each challenge? Yes, they should.
But considering the THOUSANDS of badges that can be activated on any given day, with thousands of different requirements in hundreds of different games, we need to give them a break once in awhile.

What is frustrating is how many people (hand raised lol) have reported this problem to them with no resolve on their part. I was really surprised to see a badge in Jungle Gin offered with the issues. It’s been going on for over a month at least and I’m sure hoping they fix it since this is one of my all time favorite games 🙂

There is a problem with coding for the game. The Pogo Forum administrator has been informed and the information will be passed on to the appropriate department.
Today being the beginning of a weekend , it is doubtful that the problem will be addressed before some time next week. The rest of the badges do seem to be working correctly.

jungle gin badge is giving no credit for points. i set my table for oklahoma gin and skunk the bot. i did not go gin at all the entire game and got no points towards the badge. hard enough to win 2016 points in gin when your not allow to go gin. but 100 times worse when you don’t even get credit at all for your points!

I purchased the Pogo-Con ablum.. The Mahjong Garden worked ok and gave me my
points and the badge..
I just came from playing the Okla. Gin, which is required in the Gin challenge,, and won
2 games, and did not receive any credit … How long will it take for Pogo to get that
fixed.. as can’t undo the the challenge till it is finished.. and 2016 points is a lot of playing
to reach..

Fact #1: This album came out early Friday morning and Pogo was made aware of the problems with Gin with what I consider sufficient time to address and fix the problem before the “weekend” started, unless these employees work a 4 day work week.
Fact #2: I don’t want to hear more about how much Pogo has to deal with and we should give them a break. BH had information on this album 2-3 months ago. So I will infer that this album was completed 2-3 months ago, giving Pogo a sufficient amount of time to test for any problems or glitches before it was released.
Fact #3: Given the nature of the Pogo site, they have a responsibility to address and post issues and problems for their paying customers. As nice as it is to come to BH for information, I should not have to rely on BH for basic information. Pogo should be posting an acknowledgement of ongoing problems and giving an estimated time for it to be fixed. It’s called basic customer courtesy.
Fact #4: There are more and more games having issues, glitches and problems that don’t appear to be addressed in a timely fashion, or even at all. The forums and BH have massive posts about the problems, but not only doesn’t Pogo make some sort of formal statement for players to look to for answers, they don’t keep us updated on the status of what steps are being taken to fix the problems, therefore all we can determine is that nothing is being done to fix anything.

sewlution – A Forum Moderator is not just anyone. They are in direct contact with the Forum Admin, and the Forum Admin is a Pogo employee. And since the Pogo employees rarely post in the Forums, that’s about as good as it gets.
And a Forum Moderator would not say that they had been in contact with the Forum Admin if they hadn’t.

The section of Pogo News is what should be used to notify players of problems and steps being used to address the problems. Isn’t that the purpose of that section?
I have tried using forums to search for issues, but considering there are multiple ways to access different forums or the time wasted searching and clicking thru responses is annoying, not to mention that many times players are directed to post or search for problems via EA Help area.
Pogo has a responsibility to the players and this is one area they are sorely lacking.

I absolutely agree with you, the forum is a mess!!! I think you have to be a full time Pogo player to actually find anything on there! I’ve given up on trying to post and find answers to my questions. It frustrates me so bad, I don’t even go there any more! 🙁 I just come here to Badge Hungry and usually get the answers I find useful and helpful! 🙂

This particular game (Jungle Gin) has been messed up for quite awhile. A year ago I tried to do badges that required 500 or 700 pt. wins, but the game would freeze or knock me out before I got to those points. It was ridiculous. I was able to get those badges done recently, though – but there seems to be consistent, overall problems with this one game that they don’t want to correct, to make it relaxing and enjoyable.

Most of us have been around long enough to know, unless it is a complete “pogo-down” situation, we can expect no “real” technical support or Pogo game/badge fixes until Monday. From all the posts, we can see it has been reported, only thing we can do is wait. *sorry* pogo just does not do 24/7 support.

Thanks for posting this!! It’s the exact problem I’ve been having for almost one month now and yes I have reported it several times. The game will freeze if I win the round and not redeal……I cannot work on ranking up since points are not awarded. Winning a game is impossible….I can only win hands and have way too many Jungle Gin badges I’d like to do IF lol.

doesn’t fix the problem, but I have found the “freezing re-deal” happens less with 2-people (no-bot) playing. And when it does, can just stand & re-sit without losing “match” points (when doubling up with one of those badges too)

I had no problem winning but I went gin everyhand even though set Oklahoma. Made a free name gave it a pass and double browsed. I do see Badge Hungry Is an option for new players to learn the perks of Pogo I think it said.
But I have never locked up after a win no matter what options.
