The Weekly Pogo Playoffs have begun. Between now and Sunday evening at 7pm PST, play Phlinx and earn over 180 points to be entered. After the playoffs are over, three winners will be selected randomly. One will win 100,000 Pogo tokens, the second winner will win 50,000 tokens, and the third winner will get 25,000 tokens. Winners of this round will be posted to the Pogo News later in the week.

It is helpful to play on the Hard setting.

I’m assuming they mean in one round, since that’s what shows on their high scores list. Anyway, 180 doesn’t seem hard to me; I set the difficulty to expert and got 345 in the first round.
You get 1 point per ball dropped and another point for every ball in your largest drop during a round. To maximize your score you’ll want to make one really large drop, and you might also hold off on releasing the glyph during the nighttime level if you can drop some other stones elsewhere first. Besides the difficulty bonus (you get 50% more points on expert than on beginner), harder levels usually have wider fields of balls and require more balls dropped to advance to nighttime, so if you can win on the tougher levels 180 points shouldn’t be too difficult.
