With this morning’s Pogo maintenance, Pogo removed Spooky Slots from their web site. It will return late next September, for those of you looking to complete its ranks or badges.
Speaking of Spooky Slots badges, if you purchased the Spookville PBA but did not finish it, the album has disappeared (which is not what the Editor said it would do when Spooky was re-vaulted). However, you can still view the non-Spooky Slots badges by visiting the challenges tab on the game’s page or in Badge Central, but players are reporting that trying to activate them is giving an error.
Update 1pm EST: Pogo has posted this to their news page:
Today we removed our seasonal Halloween game, Spooky Slots, which may have impacted your badge collection. You may have noticed that the Spookville Limited Edition Premium Badge Album and Spooky Slots Limited Edition badges appear to be missing. We are aware of the issue and are investigating a solution. Please note that you have not lost any of your badges as they are currently hidden. The badges that you have earned can still be viewed from your profile.
And the Editor has added an update to his response as well:
Update 11/5 – It turns out that I was wrong about this, and we will provide more info about this soon. It was never our intention for this album to disappear.
Stay tuned for any updates as they become available.
