I saw this about an hour ago and was dissapointed. A christmas card? Why not just make one ourselves… Oh well, still can’t wait for Clue & Claire.

This looks like a kid’s craft. I wonder how many pogo enthusiasts are kids.

    Oh well. Merry Christmas!

It was really cute, Maybe Pogo employees can afford color cartridges. I cannot. They could have made it so that we could use crayolas. I am just going over to the Holiday Jigsaw Treasure puzzles that had been locked to me since 2008 because “you ranked out too early” – 20 puzzle I never got to do before makes me very happy.

My printer is low on ink & I don’t have the money to buy cartridges so I will have to pass on this one. It would have been a great project to do with my daughter. I think this will be better printed on card stock instead of regular paper.

I am not doing this cuz the black ink from printer is out so I am going to have to pass this one πŸ™

I made one – I guess it’s ok. I used a pair of small curved fingernail scissors to cut it out but, boy, did it give me old eyes and my arthritis fits. C’mon POGO, is this the best you can do?

I’m really surprised that Pogo bothered to do this after last year, and doesn’t seem to be anymore gratitude this year.

Amy C #15 card stock will be better (dont know if a regular printer will do that) ,,,
use colored pencils or watercolor paint or colored chalks to highlight certain places / brush very lightly with clear glue or modpodge on areas like the roof line or windowsills then shake on some glitter …I used to do rubber-stamping so the glue works fine.
(((brings back memories of my rubber-stamping days SIGH!)))

I just made the card so I can give it to my Mom who loves Pogo but because of arthritis doesn’t do crafts any more. It took a lot of patience and a little over an hour’s time. My advice is to print it out on card stock versus regular paper or photo paper. I have an x-acto knife but I found it easier to use scissors, and instead of glue I used double sided scrapbooking tape. I couldn’t figure out whether the door to the house is supposed to be cut out or not, so I left the door uncut and taped the smaller building to the front of the larger building. It came out pretty nice but for an hour’s work I don’t think I’ll make any more. -Jen (aka PlusJenney)

I have not been able to buy ink for my printer in well over a year, maybe 2 so it is sitting unplugged on a shelf . Pogo needs to give a special gift that EVERYONE can use if they are going to be giving us anything.

  26. MomsBassetHound says

    December 16, 2012 at 8:42 pm

Has anyone ever heard the saying “It’s the thought that counts”?

Last year everyone complained b/c the calendar didn’t include any token gifts. This year they included token gifts and “most” are complaining about that also.

Pogo will never be able to please everyone, but it seems that recently they can’t please anyone.

Prior to last year all Pogo gave us was a holiday background. They do NOT owe us anything. I wouldn’t blame them if this is the last year.

I could not get the christmas card, so I guess it wasn’t worth the time or trouble because I did do the download and nothing happened some of these things really suck and upsets me.
