London Games Amazing Minis Event This Thursday

Amazing MinisPogo is holding another themed Amazing Minis event this Thursday to celebrate the London Games. Dress your Mini on Thursday August 2nd and be judged in Lost Temple Poker. Look under the Topics Tab for the Amazing Minis rooms under Free Games Rooms. Judging starts at 2pm Pacific (3PM Mountain, 4PM Central, 5PM Eastern and 10PM BST).

In past themed events like this, Pogo gave out coupon codes for token Mini items and Expressions, Mini goodies, or nothing at all. There may be a reward for attending this one, there may not; the only way to know is to go.

  1. Not being a mini fanatic, i wont attend this, but aslong as it isn;t a hassle for you, I like these reminders Lura.
    I – and others – don’t read the news, (BadgeHungry is so much easier to navigate, and has all we need) so, if it sint a hassle, please keep reminding people who take part in these 🙂

  5. Oh, Lura, I don’t even LOOK for news of this type on Pogo anymore! Pure and simple, I count on BH for ALL news. It’s always right before us, so we don’t have to search in the newspaper, forum, or promotions, etc. News is “right off the press” here, and furthermore, we have you to comment with added info we would get NO PLACE ELSE! I have gotten so dependent on your exemplary web site…… WE CAN TRUST IT. Please continue to inform us of all things re Amazing Minis, etc. If you knew how “jittery” I am right now as I contemplate “being on my own” for all things vital, you would maybe tell us
    you were just joking???? Nothing you offer is ever anything but needed, wanted, and appreciated.

  9. jigsawing: no worries, I won’t leave you out in the cold. I’ve got no intention of stopping any of this. I just wasn’t sure if this Amazing Minis info was redundant since I think Pogo has done a pretty good job lately advertising their events. Clearly it’s something I should continue posting no matter how much/well Pogo advertises. 🙂

  13. I prefer to get my information here. It can be hard to find on Pogo despite numerous site revisions on their part and I religiously stop by here a few times a day. I don’t consider anything listed here a duplication – BadgeHungry makes Pogo time better.

  16. Please Lura keep posting us the reminders. I have missed out on alot of different things on pogo because of all the confusion they have had lately. I always come to your site first thing in the morning and about a dozen times if not more during the day. It is too confusing the way pogo has their postings set up.   17. I appreciate you posting about these and any other events. Pogo may have gotten better with some things, but not always. Still not reliable. Good example was today’s last minute 30% off Mini Mall gem item sale.

    • rabbitandkitty: Lost Temple Poker. I rewrote that so many times trying to clarify what Pogo had listed, I think I went crosseyed and left that detail out. Haha so much for improving the announcement!

  20. # 12 linda when u go to each game there are tabes saying teens 20’s 30’s social,topic ect all u have to do is click on the tab that says topic scroll down to where ur see the non member rooms and ur see the amazing mini rooms

  21. PLEASE don’t stop these reminders from Badge Hungry. If it weren’t for this page Lura, I would miss out on many things that Pogo is doing. Sometimes Pogo doesn’t make things as noticeable as I would like.
    But the job you are doing here at Badge Hungry is incredible! You post everything that Pogo is, or will be doing…..as you post it so it is seen for days.
    Like today, I didn’t know token expressions are 30% off. I didn’t see it advertised on Pogo, so the expression I sent I didn’t get the 30% off. Coming here, I see now that the rest I will be sending today, I will get at lower token price.
    I usually check out Badge Hungry before I even get on Pogo, but today, of course I didn’t. lol
    Please keep the updates coming on here Lura. We all appreciate all the work you do for us Pogo fans. <3

  23. Gotta throw in my 2 cents – I LOVE it when Lura sends out the mini reminders because I can never tell which ones are possible ones for gifts and which are just extra normalish ones. For that alone, please flood me with reminders!

    (Seriously, BH is great, we all know that, and it is because of the little things that make it great… like letting me forget Pogo has a news page at all because it is so very not relevant to my interests! 🙂 )

  26. Oh Lura thanks so much for your reminders! I’ve become quite dependent on BH and visit here first on the days I play. Often I don’t see notices on the site. For instance I missed the mini discount day because I forgot to check here -;) Your reminders etc have made my overall experience on Pogo better. You’re the best!

  27. I never to go pogo news but BH is one of the sites i check at least once a day if not more. I like the reminders because if they weren’t posted then i would have no clue.

    I always use Badgehungry for my POGO news because 1) Badgehungry sends me an e-mail alerting me of upcoming POGO events and 2) Badgehungry information is so very much easier to find than the information listed in the POGO news.
    As soon as POGO started offering their newsletter, I signed up to receive it and have never received it. I can not sign up again because I’m given the message “you have already subscribed”.

  31. Yes, surprise mini goodie for those that emailed in first 45 minutes…..offer expired about 30 minutes prior to my writing this, so not giving out secrets.

  32. Hi- I’m always grateful to see wonderful info from this site. My issue is with having a disabling chronic disease. Either I’m in hospital, doc appt., or in bed with headaches unbearable to be on computer. I do try to always dress my mini but have never been able to be in event game for these extra goodies. Lately the weekly challenges have been very difficult for me due to my health. So many play who are retired or younger and at work or home but able to participate. This week was very hectic for me with differnt appts. going on and my home in foreclosure and trying to get that worked out. When I saw the new homepage on this site and the *gold medal* hanging down I thought it might’ve been added with other new mini items mentioned. I’ve had to have a close friend to help when a badge is too difficult for me but she has health isssues also so don’t feel right to ask about these others but I really don’t always knowa about them until much later that night or next day if able to get on puter. Anyway…I did want to express how much I do appreciate all info put on this site. It’s usually the first stop when get on puter. Sometimes it next after getting on Pogo site. Please keep up wonderful work you all do. Thanks so much ! Janice

  33. I never seem to get the information until after the fact. I think everyone who plays pogo (members only) should get a gold medal, not just a select few.
