The Android app has been available for over three months now, and the badges still aren’t awarding properly for Android and Kindle Fire users despite continuing form-letter statements from Pogo’s customer service that “the development team is working on the mobile badge issue and should have it resolved soon”.
It appeared this was just another glitch on the part of Pogo’s developers: not only did the app launch with some initial weekly challenge problems, the identical badges won in the iOS app for iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad have always been awarded and counted toward Pogo.com badge totals. Why wouldn’t the Android app award those same exact badges to our accounts too?
“Note: Badges earned on the Android App will not count towards your badges on Pogo.com.”
It’s unclear whether Pogo never intended to have badges count and never will, or if this FAQ addition is only a temporary note while their development team resolves “the mobile badge issue”. Either way, this is frustrating news for all of us Android app users.

Update 8/1: it’s official. No Android badges. Here’s what the Editor said:
Android Badges are only visible through the Android App, while iPhone Badges do appear in your Club Pogo Badge Albums. And, unfortunately, we will not even be manually adding Android Badges to the Club Pogo Badge Albums anymore, so contacting our Live Help will yield no desired results.
