  1. I hope this is not a repeat of last week’s dreaded Stellar Sweeper—-but I just won a mini golf game under par and it is not showing up as a credit on my pogo home page.

  3. Is anyone else having trouble with Pogo this morning? It keeps booting me out of the room. I signed out, came back and none of the 900+ stones I had were recorded. I was back to zero. 🙁

  6. 2 challenges i wont really enjoy
    Phlinx is rather dull
    and Mini golf Madness is so repetitive doing the same courses over and over again
    what happened to Pogo adding new courses to this game,another broken promise

  8. I’m getting the dreaded “server error”. The gist of the message is that the server that runs Phlinx isn’t currently working. I hadn’t even finished a level yet, which is good, because I would have probably lost the progress!

  9. Pogo is having probs again. Won’t let me load daily Frog challenge, and when I get in Phlinx, it lets me play for a minute then the game disappears and I get an error message. I tried to go back to Golf, was on the 4th hole, and got error message “server not available”. The problems Pogo is having on badge day is getting real old.

  10. I am having trouble with phlinx..I play for awhile and then server goes down. I am not getting credit for what I am doing. This is really turning me off. I may not sign up for another year. I renew in March,but,I am finding there is just too many problems and you can’t enjoy POGO any more. Everyone have a nice day Good Luck and God Bless! ~Nancy~

  11. Phlinx has booted me out of 3 different rooms. thought maybe too many people in 1st two rooms but I was also booted from a room with 15. Is it only me?

  12. i am having no problems with phlinx except from the usual, im trudging through even tho its a game i hate. i see little point in shooting coloured balls at more coloured balls, there is no story to aim for and little in the way of bonuses to earn, it has to be without doubt one of the most boring games available.
    spliff is not a happy chappy

  13. Guess ev1 having the same SERVER error
    I’m leaving Phlinx 4 now & cant do Greenback Bayou either & I got a badge to do, guess I have to wait or do something else.

    Mini Golf i got 5/8 & I am bored …………I only do WARM UP…on hole #15 SWING BATTER if you pull back as far as you can without touching one of the power ups & release your shot just as the bat clears, you should get a Hole-In-One .

  15. for personals, i chose Riddle of the Phlinx, and Pyramid Scheme badges. they are both done while i still work on the challenge badge.

    i got the white screen 4 or 5 times, but i seem to be alright now.

  16. I had trouble with Phlinx disappearing on me earlier. Couldn’t get Greenback Bayou to load either. Now I can’t even get into pogo! Tried to play the golf earlier and just cannot get under par. 🙁

  17. Badges look long but not too bad. I love golf. I was really surprised that they didn’t give us an extra personal this week after last weeks mess. It would have made people feel much better towards pogo but Pogo doesn’t see that. GL all on your badges!

  18. having trouble with all the games get thae cannot display webpage i can go around if i type game in search.
    it keeps telling me all rooms are ful reguardles of the room count refresh doesnt improve it. still does it! so fed up with pogo and badge day should be renamed to just BAD day!

  19. Oh No, POGO has issues once again, imagine that!!! Had over 2,000 stones in Phlinx, screen froze, got out of room to reboot to only find that I have not received any credit on my home page. Now I cannot get into a room at all – screen stays white, not even any message! Not a very happy Pogo’ette right now!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  20. I had 1924 in Phlinx and the game locked up. When I came back in I had nothing. Flippin’ pogo is ticking me off. Last week same thing with Stellar.

  21. I started off with the same problem, and then I switched to Firefox, and now I have both badges. Hope it helps,

  22. I’m receiving no credit whatsoever. Been playing for 2 hours and shows 2653 in chat window but only 51 on front page. Now not receiving any credit whatsoever at end of each game.

  24. I was playing, was up to 1943 stones dropped then it stopped working. Now it isn’t crediting me for the stones dropped.

  25. please watch out left phlinx to work on golf, went back and all stones were gone had to start over, also tried to play golfs 9 holes and didnt get a count. I did understand some got their badge by doing the eash 9 holes? oh well made it thru last weeks fiasco, lol. so will make it thru this weeks, lol. guess I’ll work on m/m (wonder how messed up they are,lol)

  26. Do the Pogo technicians ever check these challenges beforehand to make sure that they work properly? I can’t do the Greenback Bayou daily challenge and I can’t do the Phlinx weekly challenge as it keeps saying server error. I hope this is not like Stellar Sweeper last week, when I had to get them to give me the badge.

  28. problems again same as last week, im really not going to be happy if i have to do badge again as i really do not like phlinx at all and got past 2000 also did weekly in it pogo is having so many issues lately think they need to concentrate more on things that need fixing instead of trying to fix things that arent broken, arggghhhh im annoyed lol

  30. To Who It May Concern..I couldn’t get in to Phlinx…It keep saying error so what is going on?? Hope not that is not the plm we had with the Stellar Sweeper last week…Pls do something about it…thanks…

  31. I noticed that if you go into a room with less people in it (around 20 or less), you’re less likely to get a Server Error or to be kicked out of a game. I actually noticed this problem a few days ago, never had the problem before, so don’t know what’s going on.

    A tip for Phlinx – try and drop as many balls as you can in the 2nd round (the night time round). It’s a lot easier to do since there’s only 3 colors and you can drop a lot of balls before you need to drop the little gold icon.

    Just wanted to add, I really like the badge and icon for the Phlinx badge, is one of the best I’ve seen in a while! 🙂

  33. Is anyone else having problems with mini golf. I play a few holes and then I don’t receive a ball to play or the game freezes (not sure what it is doing). Its so annoying to have to keep starting over again and again and not make any progress towards the badge..thanks

  34. well, here it goes again,last wk i lost all my progress on steller sweeper and never did get my badge and now this wk it’s starting all over agai with phinix, this is crazy, every since pogo started making changes ,there’s been problems, wish they leave well enough alone.

  36. Be happy you can actually get on to pogo right now. I have tried repeatedly to get on today and it keeps giving me a pogo error that says:
    Web Page Error
    Explanation:
    The web page couldn’t be shown because of an internal error.

    How to Fix the Problem:
    Unfortunately, since you have encountered this error because of some server problem on our end, there’s really nothing you can do at this time to correct the problem. Your best bet is to try again later.

    I’ve been getting this message for over 2 hours now, so that was enough to tell me something wasn’t right somewhere in the pogo servers this morning. Sigh. I was really looking forward to doing my phlinx badge, I love that game!

  37. It figures, the one game in the weeklys that I can play is messed up and I cant do anything in the other game.

  38. Well, Pogo has managed to ruin a pleasant badge week again. The white screen hit me at least 5x; haven’t lost the stones credited so far, but I’m waiting for that to occur. As for golf, which is difficult for me, even with the help of the hole in one shots (thanks, Lura), Pogo dropped my connection on the 15th hole and I was at 5 under. I’m increasingly ready to tell Pogo to take their games and shove it!

  39. OK I finally got my Phlinx badge. For those having problems make sure you go into a rom with the very low number of players. Every time I went into an almost full room I either couldn’t get in or my game foze and I got kicked out. Onc I went into a room with a very low number of players I had no problems. I even left the game and came back to another room with low numbers. It worked. Good luck.

  40. Pogo has been reporting that they are working on problems with Phlinx. I just completed the badge and it is properly credited in all places. I did do it in one sitting, did not leave the room, as ppl have reported losing credits when doing so. But this could be due to the fact that the home page frequently does not properly credit game play. I personally depend on the chat validation.

  41. stellar sweeper and phlinx are ‘old’ in pogo time games with lots of badges for each. i don’t understand why there we have had this problem 2 weeks in a row with badges.

    i don’t know if this is still good. i am waiting to start phlinx to see if the problem gets fixed. i did see a post from pogo saying to play in a room with as few people as possible. so, i am going to wait until the badge day fever goes down a bit before i try phlinx.

  42. I was 97 away from Phlinx and just ended a round of 114 stones, when the damned thing RESET itself and made have to play two more rounds to get the badge.

    I am on the 13th of the first round of MGM…I hope this works….

  43. I’m having so many problems with golf. I have a MacBook computer and it plays the first couple of holes and then it doesn’t give me the ball. Does anybody else have this problem? I guess it will be impossible to get this badge. ): I would appreciate any advice. Thanks and good luck.

  45. I magnify all shots to help fine tune aim. Only on #4 top shelf of warm up do you need to see the hole to aim.
    Brittany. #18 I usually do in 2 shots. I use Big Gulp because my second shot would often come just short without it. From front tee, softly(tip of line just short of star point of lotto ball) hit ball. The second shot should hit(maybe bank into) the far right hole and come out directly into hole.

  46. Got the MGM one in 8. Played Warm Up every time. Got a -19 three rounds in a row. A personal best. Even made rank 10.

    I have made 18 (Warm Up) under par several times.

    Just be careful on the strength gauge on the first shot. Try to put the ball above the median bar on the right-hand side, so you can drop the second shot at full power right in the ‘warp’ on the far right, and it should hit the hole straight away.

  48. Brittany (53): I find it helps if I have all of the powerups for this hole. Shot 1 I bounce the ball off the wall and try to stop it to the starting side of the divider so I have a clear shot at the right hole.

    Second shot I activate Accu Aim and Big Hole, and if I can see the hole on the right, it will go in. If I miss and it’s a hard shot, I mulligan and shoot at the hole on the left for a net par.

  49. Hi all,

    Last week when I was having trouble with SSweeper re-setting and losing all the work towards the Badge, I finally got smart and started taking SCREENSHOTS of the exact area in Chat where it showed how much I’d already completed ~~ Took my screenshots BEFORE leaving the room!

    If you scroll up or down so you can see it, then shoot it, and save it on your comp in a file where you can find it. This is PROOF that you have been playing and making progress towards the badge, and you DID activate it. This screenshot would be very useful if you need to contact CS.

    Plus, if you win the Badge, Chat confirms you did, (maybe do or don’t get the pop up), and then discover the badge isn’t showing up in your Album ~~ well, IF you took that Screenshot, there is your PROOF right there that you completed it. 🙂

    As I write this, the time is roughly 5:16 PM EST, the problems with Phlinx seem to be fixed…my progess from this morning is still holding.
    But it never hurts to have PROOF!!

  50. posted this in iphone phlinx section in error. got to over 1,800 stones dropped when myself and others in the room lost all our credits. they dont show up on the frontpage either, e-mailed pogo but had no reply yet. help is no good, just takes to to ea site which is no use or interest to me. getting really fed up with these badge day problems – lost credits twice last week on sweeper.

  51. For anyone have trouble with Mini Golf “freezing” using a Mac – turn off the volume. I don’t know why, but it works. 🙂

  52. I will have to fore go the 2012 complete book as I can not make par on the second 9 of the course and I bet I am not the only one.

  54. Nellie #63 Don’t give up on mini golf. By practicing the screen shots here on BH (link shown below badge above) you should be able to often get hole-in-ones on 8 of the back nine holes. You do know the screen shots expand larger when clicked. Also there are good tips here in these comments.

    As for hole 18 of the Warm-up course, I like to save my power-ups for this hole. For the first shot, make sure you have the “Stop!” power-up. Use the bottom starting spot and aim down towards the flat wall on the bottom so that the ball will bounce back up and to the right and go into the water (below the red ball with the gold star). Make the shot with medium speed, but right click to stop the ball right before it goes in the water. This should leave the ball with a straight path to the right entry hole, that comes out directly into the final hole. Use the big-cup power-up here, and a full-power shot into the right entry hole will get you into the final hole in just two shots. If you don’t have the big-cup power-up, use a 2/3 power shot into the right entry hole. A full power into the small final hole will cause a lip-out.

    Remember to save your “Stop” power-up for this hole. It makes it much easier. Hopefully, you’re not in a position where you need a great score on this hole to stay under par for the course with all of the other screen shots available for the easier holes.

  58. if you must play on Wednesday-expect server issues because so many are on so go to a room with no one or few in it. also use Facebook instead- if its there and you get more experience pts i believe. i prefer to wait until Thursday in case of glitches and i always read the news page first. good luck all 🙂

  59. I have to say – I really never had issues with either game yesterday, but who knows today!

    The Mini Golf badge was so easy after seeing the screen-shots on BH. My all time best game was -21 and that’s without power-ups, I kept forgetting to use them…LOL!! A lot of people were complaining about this badge and not being able to make below par. I sent them here (BH) to check the screen-shots. Many were grateful for this knowledge.

    Thank you once again Lura for this awesome site – there should be more people checking it out after yesterday 🙂

    Phlinx – make 5000 matches – each group dropped is 1 match. This is from the 2008 album, and I wasn’t even close to the half way mark when I finished the weekly badge.

  62. Whew, 20 full Jackpot spins and I’m finally done with the weekly. Now only 10 more to go for my personals…

  63. I just discovered an interesting glitch with pogo.
    My second account is using the free passes and it’s first pass expired Wednesday afternoon (which was surprising because I had activated the pass the Tuesday night over a week before then).
    Anyway, since the account was still on club status I concentrated on that acct on Wednesday and got both of this weeks & one personal done before it’s pass expired.
    I just activated the second free pass (from the free token pages here) and it’s showing that I still need to activate this weeks badges (even though they are in my badge collection) but, more importantly, I still have 2 personals which I have activated even though I already did one on Wednesday!

    So, basically, I got a extra personal done because of this glitch and, if I knew about it, I’d have done my 2 personals before this weeks badges since I can still re-do those.

    I just wanted to pass this along in case there are others like me who use the free passes for extra accounts.
