  5. I Bought this badge this morning n did it but its coming up as the 4th of july will it change 2 the summer badge? It says summer on it but it looks like 4th of july –i paid 28 gems 4 this n i did it hope they change it–if they dont do i get my gems back?

  8. Well I was told by CS it is the same badge but with different requirements. She went ahead and gave me back my gems.

I could just imagine want going on in the office of pogo with this mix up it gave me a laugh wondering how many people at pogo looked at this being ok with it, putting it on the site only to find out that it was not right. Guess the person who normally does this may be on holidays and some one was filling in.

  12. Well that just burst my bubble. All I read was the part it had been released and rushed over to buy it only to see the same badge I purchased for the 4th of July being offered with different requirements. Flipped back to the BH tab and read the REST of the post. LOL Guess I’ll wait until it shows up correctly. I have to leave shortly and will be out of town most of the day so crossing my fingers that when I return the right badge will be displayed so I can purchase it with the few gems I have been saving for it!!

  13. I’ll wait until they fix it. Even I’m not buying a badge that I just bought a couple of months ago.

    I was really looking forward to using that icon. It was 103 here yesterday and the forcast for the next week is not much different.

  16. Ugh i bought it before i read about it showing the 4th of July art work. I’m assuming they will change it for the people who bought it once they get to fixing the error.

  17. Whew, thankfully I checked here before I bought it. I love the artwork here and I won’t be buying it until it gets fixed. So, *fingers crossed* I hope that’s soon.

  18. I bought this & didn’t realize the badge was identical to the 2011 July 4th badge. Asked Pogo_Samantha to get a refund b/c I spent $6 dollars on gems to buy this & didn’t want to keep it while it wasn’t correct. She said other players have informed us of this problem but you can still play it & earn the badge in Aces Up. I was told her I know that but it’s NOT FOR THE SUMMER 2011 LIMITED EDITION BADGE!! I literally had to argue w/her to get a 28 gem refund!! *sighs* I hope you never have to deal w/Pogo_Samantha!

  21. I must admit, this was rather sloppy for Pogo. Still no update or news about it. Also, with the forums down and to be replaced, no information from there either.

    Disappointing.

  23. I juat spoke to Kein at Customer Serice and the gave me back my 28 gems, and said that the Summer Edition should be out in a few weeks.

  24. Haha Pogo. For the first time EVER (literally) I cannot buy either the new book or this badge until Thursday. I felt bad this morning but it looks like I would have been waiting to buy this one anyway, so I feel better I guess. Hopefully they fix it very soon. The actual badge is really adorable.

  25. This is why I come to BH before I even have my morning coffee! I would have been rather upset had I spent my gems on the LE badge and then having to deal with live chat…EW. Guess I’ll wait for the fix.

  26. A very good friend gifted the badge to me and I completed it without realizing the badge problem.. I am confident Pogo will fix it ASAP, they would be very foolish not to do so.

    Moms, #13, glad you got a cool front, we are fluctuating between 105 and 112. Right now it’s 106, lots of Pogo because it’s to hot to go out.

  27. I bought it before I noticed it was the same. I had to do 2 live chats, after the first one who was supposed to fix it I got a refund on my gems. Now it doesn’t show up at all. Sure hope it shows up again after/if it is fixed or it’s back to live chat again. 🙂

  28. Nitnatnu8 #27 – They took the badge back b/c they refunded your money. Why would you still expect to have the badge?

  30. Pogo_Ida has posted that they are aware and are in the process of correcting the artwork.

  31. I just spoke with Live Chat requesting a refund & the following the is the answer I got from Pogo Roxanne:

    Pogo Roxanne: I would like to tell you that the graphics are the same for both the badges but it will appear as a different badge when you complete it.

    So I’m going to assume this CSR is giving the correct information & I will complete the badge & see if the badge is different as she indicates.

    I’ll write back when I have it done.

  32. Teach me not to come here first thing in the morning. I also bought it and did the badge quickly. After I noticed the fireworks I came here. I saw how pretty it was supposed to be on this wonderful site. I do hope they fix it soon. I have every limited edition badge out and would like to keep my record that way.
    Wishing us all luck. I learned my lesson will always come here first before Pogo.

  35. I purchased it this morning and was told it would display correctly after I completed the challege. That was incorrect. I complained and was switched to Tier 2 support with a wait of approximately 42 minutes. I sent an email requesting a refund of my gems. It will likely be at least 24 hours before I hear something.

  36. i just clicked on badges on pogo and it looks like its the right badge now!:) Guess I will go get it!

  37. I just got the SE Summer Badge 2011. Yes, it corrected itself when I selected it as a favourite badge BUTTTTTT when u go into a game room, the July 4th horse badge shows up NOT the sun…so there is still a glitch. I did, however, get the 2000k tokens…now Pogo needs to correct the badge to show the sun when we’re in game rooms. I’ll be contacting Live Chat to advise them!

    Further to my comments, I just spoke with Live Chat & am providing the following response from Pogo Christine:

    “We have got contacts from many players who reported the same problems. We wanted to let you know that this problem has been forwarded to our engineers to look in to and provide early resolution. ”

    So I’m sitting tight until Pogo corrects the glitch & I’m not requesting a credit at this time.

  40. I won’t get to finish it until tomorrow so don’t know what will show when I’m in a game room. The rest of the artwork has been corrected, so fingers crossed that I will get that “sun” to shine for the chat icon.

  41. Note….as of 2:15am pacific time on Weds. 8/10 the badge is still not showing correctly!!! On my profile it does but when playing a game in a room it is showing as the guy on a horse and not a sun!!!

  42. the chat icon for the summer limited edition badge is messed up again and is back to displaying the 4th of july badge. Pogo claims to be working on it.

  44. I missed all of this stuff yesterday!!! It seems to be all correct in my album- don’t care as long as it displays as a different badge, which it does.

I was wondering if I was to buy the badge and gift the badge as well if we didnt we do it til a later time but still had it if it would be correct when they fixed it or would it be messed up because I got it for us when it was a messed up badge? Just curious as that is alot of gems to waste when I already have the 4th of july Icon one.
