These badges, all in one album, have a new “Badge Classics” banner across them to signify them as new. They count as new in your albums, whether or not you completed the original badges. This album will be released on March 22nd and will cost 86 Gems.

If they want to get more people to buy this album, they need to add 50 ranks to Hog Heaven Slots before it comes out. I don’t know very many people who aren’t at rank 50 for this game.

Seems like you would be throwing away gems .Since we already won them once can’t pogo be more original. How about bringing back original badges from day 1 that are no longer available.Like special editions badges

Oh goody. Yet another money grab on Pogo’s part. Re-release old badges, put a “best of” banner on and call them new. I’m sorry, but I think that’s low. I take pride in the fact that I have purchased EVERY mix and Match and EVERY Premium album Pogo has offered since they started releasing them. These best of albums are an insult to long standing customers like myself. And to add insult to injury, this is a badge album of re-releases for a game that I (and a good number of long standing members) have ranked out on quite a while ago. Isn’t this one of the games Pogo promised “added ranks and badges” a while ago and just never got around to?
Get your act together, Pogo. Come up with something original. Fix the bugs in the games you currently have. Stop insulting your customers and going for the money grab. Shame on you

Are you serious??? Pogo can’t pay for original work. They are pandering for the members to create a challenge plus art work? They continue to recycle old badges? I find this pathetic. I did not buy the used mahjong or the used poppit, and doubt I will buy this either. The only time I will buy these is at 50% off, as used books are worth. Where is the pogo we used to know? Did they get better jobs on the dark side? I agree, if they added 50 more ranks to HH, I would gladly pay full price. Oh, and I want to name one pig with a great badge..Pablo Pigcaso !!!!

I’m getting kinda disappointed with pogo lately. They need to come up with something new and differant. I think we all know what’s next- the best of monopoly…grrr.

I’m gonna be honest here. I bought the other 2 Best Of books and didn’t enjoy doing them cause I don’t like either game, but this one I’m so EXCITED for because HHS is my favorite Pogo game of all. I feel like Pogo’s awarding me with this book for my hard work and aggravation while doing Poppit for 2 days with NO break!
I understand why people feel these books are a rip-off, but I’m too badge addicted to NOT buy them *sigh*
Oh, and I really like the icon we get for finishing the PBA! 🙂 I’m looking forward to it!

I have no regrets about purchasing the Mahjong album, got my dragon to 500 while completing it.
I’m not so happy that I got the Poppit album, but that is only b/c I don’t really care for the game. But I would not ruin my perfect collection by not buying it. I was lucky enough to be a member when they first released the premium badges and albums, so have them all.

I am also excited about HHS, coming out and i will be buying it, but i do agree with some of the others that pogo should add 50 more ranks, they did say they were going to, but of course they didn’t get around to it. I have been a member of Club Pogo since 2001 and i have all the mix and matches, and premium albums, so i will have to get this one. I did buy the other classics albums as well. I am a Badge Addict.

I am willing to bet that within a year of their release date the “best of” series will be on sale. If not, I may snatch up if a “retiring soon” notice is put up….I am gambling that I will win and get them at garage sale prices. In my mind, that is ALL they are worth.

if it is possible to agree with everyone on this thread, then i do. i am a bit miffed and feel like i’m being taken advantage of because i want to have all the badges. hhs needs more ranks and it is one of my favorite games. i love pat’s suggestion about naming the pig *big laugh* please pogo, some original work. some of us are already working on badge ideas. if you would like to hire some of the badgehungry folk here and pay us, i’m sure we could put collective heads together and put some excitement back into the site and the badges 😛

I agree that this might be a ploy to get more money on pogo’s part…but there may be some reasoning behind it in the fact that not everyone can afford to buy every album that has hhs, mahjong, etc. in it but still want the badges. I think this is a great idea for the less fortunate people who want a bunch of badges for a certain game but can only get one or two albums. It may seem ridiculous to people who have every badge ever bought (I personally am a badge addict and have every mnm and pba since I started in ’09,) but may not to many many others.
I also agree with laura……#8 _3bichons4amanda – you are a very generous person. I would love to have friends that gift me albums no matter which it is.

#19 Laura- No, my Pogo friends have been extremely gracious when they have received a badge album from me.. I was saying that I didn’t realize there was so much resentment against the “BEST OF” albums in general.
I’ll wait and give people the Starry Night book or some M and M badges.. That’s all I meant. 🙂

HHS.. is one of my all time games i used to be a faithful member in there in a certain room till alot of us went our own ways its nice to see a album dedicated to the game but i agree.. more ranks would be pretty good (i have yet to get 5 k’s in there) and to recieve the same badges again is a little pointless i was actaully gifted the poppit album and ill just say i like poppit its an ok game until your gifted that album then you never wan’t to go back let alone purchase the new album coming out for 100 gems where you pop 10,000 prizes ughh pogos lagging on thing’s for us to do it seems and they come up with the same ideas like the 4,000 prizes popped so they up it to 10,000 i wish they would do some badges in blooop i never see weeklys or m&m’s in there..

As I said when Pogo first introduced their rehashed album, if we all followed like lemurs in purchasing it, we would be inundated with more of the same–which is exactly what is now happening. Despite the fact that I have bought ever MnM and Premium album UNTIL they started this.
Being the badge addict that I am, I will most likely ultimately buy them, but only when they are ready to expire and are presented at half price, but am refusing to buy them now in protest, and to discourage Pogo’s newest attempts to empty our pockets with inferior products.

HHS was the 1st game I ranked out in THEN ~ cuz I didn’t know any better I reset my stats & just sat & cried LOL. I just recently got to 50 again so I can’t wait to get this PBA. I did get the other 2 almost done with one. They have so far been in all my fav games. I was just wondering if they were going to do another one. I just enjoy the challenges. I think it’s another one of those to each is his own ~ some like it & some don’t ~ which is what makes the world go round 🙂

As far as ‘gifting’ I have been blessed by gifts of badges, so I am very thankful for the generosity, thanks Trdazal, and also for the pogo expression from Shelgin. So many generous people here on BH.

I didn’t buy the first two and won’t buy this one either. I prefer my albums to contain new badges. I’m totally “badge hungry” but I prefer all my badges to be unique not one’s that have some banner over it. My gems are very precious to me and I will continue to purchase the new albums, special editions and mix n matches.
Hopefully this trend will pass and we will get more original ideas from Pogo, but not holding my breath.

I am with both sides I did get the first two I do love the challenge. but i do think in a sense it should have been a lot cheaper since they are badges from previous albums. on the other side Ia think they should be more creative and not make best of albums, especially one after another. I love playing for badges especiallyh when I have to be in bed a lot lol.

in reguards to some of you not buying the album beacause they are the same badge, they are NOT. the old badges are a set picture. the new ones and animated and have the “classic banner” across the bottom.

These for the most part have been pogo’s hallmark. Now, I associate the words recycled and used with what is becoming their new norm.

I wonder if they still go on with this argument when the HHS “classic” has a badge from the newest album now available.

I actually enjoy the “Best Of” albums because unlike many pogo players, I do not have that many premium albums because I do not enjoy some of the games included in them, but enjoy others like HHS, Mahjong Garden, Poppit. This gives me a chance to still get the badges that were originally in other PA’s.
I think its worth it with that said.

Someone did ask the editor about the “best of” albums and he stated that they were aimed at newer members, those that didn’t have the older albums. That is probably why they are putting them out so fast, and at the same time that they are putting out new albums for the older members…..that and money….the more income the better for them.
And as some have said, there are members that don’t buy certain albums b/c they contain badges for games they either don’t like, or that they have trouble playing. If it wasn’t for my DIL, Chelle, I would never buy an album that contained Payday FreeCell. I have never been able to get my head around that game. And she loves it, gets excited when I tell her I have a badge for her to do in it.
Every album is not for everyone, you just have to pick and choose the ones you like.

I don’t play payday either among many other solitaire games b/c i don’t like them. I am very lucky to have a friend that does those for me. Just finished poppit today and i dont want to see that game for a very long time, LOL! Thank you for your input!

I love the idea of having one album for one game. I don’t buy most of the albums because I don’t like or can’t play all of the games in it. Make more albums for one game, please.
