Pogo has rolled out the changes to their jackpot spinners! The entire Prizes tab has been redesigned, highlighting prize winners and their new jackpot system.
Pogo has done away with the individual game jackpots, instead in each Jackpot Game you can win cash prizes from $5 to $2,000, Gems, and merchandise. Non-Club members can win from $5 to $1,000. Check out the Jackpots page for more information and official rules.
From now until February 12, you can also enter for a chance to win $2,000 daily! See link for official rules.

Looks like they forgot to put part of the spinner there. Looks off kilter. But if it pays me that is ok. New album out today, and a chance to make the diaiy challenge and badge. Lots of new stuff today.

I have been a club pogo member for over 5 years. I play a great deal and have not won a Hat, a T Shirt or a single penny. Yet I play another site and won a small amount within 2 days.
I keep asking Pogo to allow us the ability to purchase, download and print out iron on transfers so we can make our own T Shirt with the nice graphics that they could sell us. Since Pogo no longer sells t shirts. This way WE still get the t shirts and they get the publicity without having to keep an inventory. I have been ignored on this idea for well over a year.
Does Pogo really care about us at all?
Serena says
Okay, something about the spinner does seem to be off – but I can think of what exactly is missing. It’s starting to bug me.
dragon7380 says
has anyone else noticed that the jackpot amounts are now gone. This is a way for Pogo to get out cheap, again. They don’t want to pay off on jackpots so they entice people with very small winnings. If another site opens up with even close to the quality of games on Pogo, I am gone and I bet that over 30% of the people on pogo leave within the first month.

this change on jps dont bother me as im in uk we cant win stuff unless by some miracle they done the change on uk site too.

I’m sorry but I have to disagree. I do not go to Pogo expecting to win ANYTHING, I go there to play games and that is it. If by some unlikely chance I win something, then that is a perk. Heck, I don’t even look at the JP spinner.
I would never leave Pogo unless I just got tired of playing their games and I don’t see that in the near future. JMO

the only way we can get the jackpot back is all of us pogo players quit playing and protest . our odds are going down the drain to win anything !!! wake up pogo players
jummmy2 says
Even if you would happen to hit JP, pogo wont give it to you anyways, happened to me in Jigsaw Detective, I hit JP for 4900.00 and pogo said that I cheated. So, since that I havent paid any attention to JP….just play for fun.

My son got me playing POGO and it saved me. I was a very badly addicted gambler. Lost just about everything. Found out got the same thrill by winning tokens and buying chances to win the monthly drawing for $1,000. Now it isn’t the same winning tokens, nothing to do with them so the thrill isn’t there as much. Already have my minnie the way I want her, plus stuff for holidays.
I still love the games and will play, but it feels like POGO is taking a lot of the chances to win money away. Let’s face it we all would like to win real cash, LOL.

It seems to me that when winners of jackpots were announced on chat, very few were identified as doubled. So I am assuming that the majority of winners were non-club members and therefore their jackpots did not have to be doubled. Perhaps POGO was hoping to entice more players to become paying members by somehow favoring them.
You would think that it should be the other way around…..that by becoming a paying member you would have a better chance at winning a jackpot and by giving many more perks to club members, POGO would be showing their loyalty to their source of income. Consequently, by doing this, it would entice the free guests to become a member.
Just a thought. π

It feels weird not to have the JP amount in the rooms. IDK, it just seems that slowly, the Pogo I fell in love with is disappearing. = But, like HoneyImHome116 #6, I have NEVER been on Pogo to win money, and have never really expected to win anything other than useless wallpapers and screensavers LOL! Although I did win Gems once, and a free week of CP in the spinner and I nearly fainted with excitement both times!
Even I have to admit that this sounds a LITTLE like Pogo’s trying to pay out even less money. I hope that’s not true.
I just choose to believe that all these changes will turn Pogo into a better place for all of us in the long run. π
SooZen1 says
I am with Honey (#6). I don’t come to Pogo to win a jackpot and seriously doubt that would happen any more than I would win the lottery. Just really long odds that would happen.
I come to Pogo for the games, the friends, the fun and really don’t pay much attention to the spinner anyway. I like winning tokens because I like to play with my mini and gift my friends. Collecting the badges is fun too and none of those things takes up room in my house, collects dust, needs washing, etc. What more could I want? π
MomsBassetHound says
This really has no effect on how I feel about Pogo. I’ve always said that my chances of winning was about the same as winning the lottery. There are over 1 million Club members, and no idea how many people play on Pogo for free, probably a couple million. I’ve never played for the JP, although it would have been nice….LOL
So everything I had on Pogo yesterday I have today….games I enjoy, badges that are addicting, and lots of good friends.

I won 10 gems this morning and was quite thrilled. I figure I never won a jackpot before … so who cares if they change it. I never played Pogo games to win anything. I enjoy the games and an opportunity to chat with people from all over the world.

my take on the changing of the jackpot spinner in terms the way it was ( the BIG $$$) those chances were like 1 in zillions of happening for any of us yes there have been winners im sure and some that were winners and tattooed outta it (so sorry jum my heart goes out to ya, but that would be my luck as well) but for all the ones in post #4, #7, #9 i am in hopes that by pogo doing this it will INCREASE ALL our chances of winning something, even if it isnt the BIG JACKPOT, im hoping to see lots of 20.00, 50.00, maybe even 100.00 winners and more people winning gems and week sub of pogo, so i am like post #11 danielle, im in hopes its a good change for pogo to SPREAD the love a lil and to have MORE smaller amount winners π and im kinda like most here so far, i wasnt so much drawn in on the jackpot thingy as i was the love to play games and chat and make friends π and even tho lol all that said, pogo lead me to this site where i have met and made some of the ” best caring loving friends and people in the world” and without BH my pogo love would not be complete and the friendsships i have made make my life more “richer” that winning 5000.00 ever could have…so thanks to “lura and this site” i am content with my venture and my pogo habits, and i am “GRATEFUL” for all the “LOVING FRIENDS” i have made and met π even tho lately i havent expressed it as much or showed as much gratitude as i NEED too, i love and cherish you all..<3 BIG HUGS boop

Winning a JP, or anything else for that matter, was never a factor in my Pogo addiction. The challenges and badges and favorite games are what keep me in Pogo Land. (Wouldn’t mind getting some gems in a spin, tho.LOL)

Good Morning…I’m with Honey (6), SooZen (12) adn Janet (16)…for 11 cents a day Pogo is the cheapest form of entertainment around. We should enjoy the games, the badges and the friendships. The odds of winning the big jackpot were tiny, so if that’s why you’re on Pogo, you were bound to be disappointed anyway. JMHO, from sub-zero Denver, HAGD all!
Stef140 says
Zero change in my opinion on Pogo, if anything I am excited about it. I have never played Pogo and expected to get anything, I play because I enjoy it. One time I won 10 gems and I just about jumped through the roof with excitement lol. If anything this increases someone’s chances to win something. Think about it, 1 person out of hundreds of thousands will win one jackpot. But if they have multiple amounts that pay out about as often as the jackpot did that’s potentially dozens of chances to win a smaller amount. That makes me happy and I might actually pay attention to the spinner now.
twuzzie_2001 says
#18 Stef..I agree wholeheartedly!!
I have never went to a game and expected to win the jackpot. It has never ever piqued my interest. I love the games and the friends I make and have made. I am always very excited whenever I win 1000 tokens and to be honest thats what I play for mostly. Just to see if I can get more tokens. The games are wonderful and I enjoy them totally. As long as Pogo keeps giving tokens and wonderful games to play I am sure I am a lifetime Pogo’er. I work with the North Carolina Lottery daily on my job and I am not interested at all in playing the game to win money. As a matter of fact I have never played more than a handful of times. No I am not rich and probably never will be, but I am happy and content with what I have. I see people everyday use their hard earned money to play when the odds for winning are just terrible. God Bless All and have a great day!!

Serena #3. The spinner has lost it’s top portion, I think it used to say ‘Jackpot Spinner’ in a banner type thing but that’s gone and the words have moved to under the spinner……least that’s what I see on UK site..lol
debbie (grandmaok_) says
I too don’t expect to win when playing pogo I have losts of wallpaper but the main reason I play pogo is for the entertainment value. Being on ssI this is a great distraction I buy m&m and badge books and dress my mini everyday so if I win something I’ll be excited if I don’t well there’s always another day
Kaye says
I think pogo should put back the top banner on the spinner, it looks kinda chopped off and incomplete – the design NEEDS something there.
As far as winning goes, all I really hope for is a pogo mug, or for pogo to put their merchandise (real life) back into the pogo store
synthsnake says
I think Pogo is still working this jackpot thing out. The home page has a $ sign next to games that have jackpots, yet there is no jackpot amount listed in those rooms.
I too never expect to win money.
#9 To lamamaloca7, just want to say thank you for your story and I feel for you. One suggestion, if you haven’t tried it. would be to join a (sorry) league, just for the feature they use, the bux system, you buy into a tournament and win a certain amount back, it is a little like gambling with nothing to lose.
OogaChacka says
dont look like they changed to much to me still 25 tokens on jp spin never expected to win money but come on you bet 100 tokens win 25 on jp lol what a joke oh well it is what it is
kiki says
I love the new changes – I’ve heard more than a few people talking about winning 100 gems and having them credited to their accounts immediately.
The $ in front of certain games just indicates that there is a prize spinner in that game. There is no growing jackpot amount per game anymore.
There’s always WorldWinners and King for people who really prefer that their online gaming have a cash incentive. A chance at a one a trillion jackpot never even entered my cranium, but you can bet the lure of 100 gems might increase my Pogo gaming a little bit.
Lura says
kiki: it’s nice to see you again! π Thanks for the info about the instant credit of 100 gems, that sounds awesome. I had no idea such fat loot was available in the spinners. Makes me wish I actually had time to play again! π
Serena says
Oh, okay, thanks, Shelly. It no longer has the Double Jackpot Spinner banner on top.
Ann says
I like the changes POGO has made to the jackpots. i, of course, am hoping that i have a better chance of winning gems. I think 100 gems would be so great. the spinner does look a little off, but i have been looking at the old spinner for 10 years, yesterday to be exact. π
Mrs. Mike Brown says
The changes are great..will benefit more people. I just wish they would redesign that ugly spinner.

Sharon #30 – If we weren’t considered full members we would not be able to play the Club exclusive games or purchase the premium badges. The only thing we aren’t eligible for is the renewal rewards b/c of the requirements.

I am starting to get more used to the spinner’s appearance. I think it’d be cool, if I could win some gems.
my52chevytruck says
spinner GEMS? What games gives gems please?
Lura says
Every game on Pogo that is now marked as a “Jackpot Game” has a chance of giving out Gems in the spin. On the homepage those are the ones with a $ next to them.
