  4. Did anyone notice that it says 2010 Hog Heaven Slots Limited Edition Badge?? Nowhere does it mention Memorial Day.

    • Very interesting, Suz. I didn’t even look at the live site today, I just assume things will stay the same from development to release and if they don’t, someone always lets me know. <3

      I wonder if that's how they can release it on both US/Canada and UK sites without complaint since Memorial Day is only a US holiday. I wonder if there will also be a change to the upcoming 4th of July badge they list on Badge Central. Anyway, duly noted in the post above. Thanks so much! 🙂

  8. Boy did I read this badge all wrong. I thought we had to get a jackpot spin 100 times to get the badge. Now that I read the posts, looks like I will be getting this badge afterall. Thanks mumson45 for your post, looks like I have some shopping to do – LOL.

    thekano58 #7 – I had the same problem when I tried to purchase from a pop-up window. I just closed the pop-up and went to the main badge page of Pogo and no problem at all placing my purchase.

  12. I just love coming here every day and getting all the info I need before heading off to pogo!! This site ROCKS, thanks Lura! I’m going to enjoy this LE badge cos I love Hog Heaven. From what I’m reading it should be a breeze to do. And thanks so much for the info on the sales, I went and spent 400 gems and got myself plenty of badges to take care of!

  14. Hog Heaven Badge, something simple after time-consuming Thousand Island Challenge. Bought a couple of on-sale M&M badges, Pogo news page sending mixed message, says 50% off. But love Pogo and Badge Hungry. Thanks Lura

  15. I wonder why they left off the “Memorial Day” part? They had intended it to be the “Memorial Day” Badge, right? Is that a politically incorrect holiday now? I don’t know anyone in the military, but that kind of irks me for some reason.

  16. The badge did say “Memorial Day” in the descriptor somewhere at a point. I believe it was on the Pogo home page or the e-mail subscription newsletter. I duly recall this because I watched the animation for the badge and commented to myself how flying pigs in a water park have absolutely *nothing* to do with honoring military personnel.

  17. You can also get credit for the badge if you also clear the pigs at the top of the reel.

Frank #18 – I think you may have the true reason for the change: Someone at Pogo may have noticed the badge as animated has absolutely nothing to do with Memorial Day (except for the part where many people treat it as the unofficial start of the summer season). I think a much better chance that they changed it for that reason, than because of the other countries…….but just a guess on my part as well.

    I was going to get the badge no matter what, but I’m much happier about it after reading what you need to earn it. I was afraid it was jackpot spins (shudder!).

  19. hello laura, please tell me what I nee to win that hh badge. have gotten over eight k in tokens. so have many hundred plus games have gone by,two bonus games and seventeen halos. the game on screen says fifty halos,but another says something else. please help. thank you so much

  20. it good it been altered.when u think about how many of your holidays are reconised and have badges for,yet uk,australia and other countrys dont get their holidays reconised,yes theres st patricks but thats for ireland,we have shrove tuesday,st georges day,bonfire night pogo dont reconise them and do a badge for those.i know pogo.com is the main site but it needs to be fairer to e1.may be instead pogo do badge saying worldwide memorial day the badge could show a globe with a soldier saluting would be very apropiate that would seem fair to e1

  21. For minicam – #21 – You need to win 100 tokens in 1 turn 100 times.

    But this is a special badge that you need to purchase and activate before you can win it.

  22. monicam #21, not only do you have to purchase the limited edition badge, but, you must Activate it. You would not be the first one to forget to do this; I have done it myself. It is not tied to jp spins, but to one click of the spin button resulting in 100 or more points. This can be done by all the various methods mentioned above–getting a bonus special, sending pigs to Pigatory, matching symbols on the screen. You can also load premium badges as well and that may be the other badge you are describing, not sure. Locate the badge in the MY COLLECTION section and make sure it is activated. Once activated, it should appear on your home page, as well as the room selector page. Good luck.

  23. Lura – Technically they could have a 4th of July badge for every country as long as it doesn’t include the term Independence. My grandson always asks me things like “Does Haiti have a 4th of July?” And when I say I don’t know, he tells me that they have a 3rd, 4th and 5th of July.

  24. I did buy badge from mixandmatch. it says fathers day 2009 special edition. when I cam to play it says I need 50 halos. Ihave played over two hrs. have gotten almost nine k in tokens. have fifteen halos. where do I find the other one. thanks for your help.

    • monicam7755: I guess you activated an old badge from last year. At this point if you have troubles with it, you should contact Pogo’s customer support. This thread is for this year’s badge in Hog Heaven slots, which is currently on sale at Badge Central.

  25. Only took a little over an hour to earn the badge. I always ‘bet max’ so maybe if someone wanted it to take longer, they could bet less?

    I always bet max, wasn’t as lucky this time playing, over 2 hrs. I had a full 30 minutes of my payouts being just 50 tokens each spin. The games goes through cycles. Finally achieved badges for both of us.

    Sorry to say I don’t like HHS to much. I think the flying pigs are adorable when they flap their wings.

  27. It was to simple. They should have bade players get like 500-1000, it would make it ‘seem’ harder.
