OOPS: Pogo screwed up again: UBF-0001 Developer Text in Live Item

We’re sure Pogo will fix this flub soon but in the meantime: let’s see how creative you can be with Pogo’s screwup! I’ll give a 3-month pass to Club Pogo (courtesy of RecycleBank) to the most clever mini snapshot posted in this thread. You must use either the #1 Mom Sash or #1 Mom Tee that has the text added.

You must take your own snapshot (instructions here or here) and host it (photobucket or a similar service works just fine) and provide a link (paste the image location) in a comment below. I’ll be the judge — in case of indecision on my part, I’ll ask a neutral party for their choice. This contest will run until Pogo fixes the error or until May 11th, whichever comes first. No technical support will be provided, if you don’t know how to take a snapshot and put its URL in a comment here, it’s time to start googling and learn!

Good luck and I can’t wait to see your creativity at work!

    for a self confessed village idiot such as myself… exactly what are you talking about with this tee & sash, i would love to understand if you will break it down for a knucklehead like me (giggling my butt off)

    • Pam, Jai: the ‘developer code’ is just text that one of the developers stuck on the image for their own use and (oopsies) Pogo released it that way. It’s a mistake, and it does nothing at all. I’m sure the developer had intended to use the image as a placeholder for another badge in some way, but instead of copying the graphic then adding their developer’s code on it at the right location, it was left in place of the original image and transferred to the live servers on release.

      I don’t know how long it’ll be before they fix it — I read in the forums that someone reported it to customer support, so they are aware of it. Honestly it’d take a minute or two to correct the problem, so it could be any minute now or next week or never… So keep those snapshots comin!

  7. Not yet fixed, I did put on the #1 Mom tee shirt. My problem–I don’t know how to get the picture to you. Will keep trying as the yellow matches my flowers in my garden.

  17. ok im begging for help seen this post as soon as it came out who knows how long ago now as i have been BUSY as BEE learning….i dressed mini, i took screen shot i saved it in ms paint, it shows her pic when i click on my pictures, i have photo bucket account, click on up load images and when pic come up her pic isnt there…boo hoo please help i have made it this far lol what am i doing wrong??? any one willing to help??

    • heart: no problem, glad you’re having fun! Really, six kids? I just had my first and I’m having a hard time finding time to shower and eat a solid meal… don’t know how people do it!

  21. You’re all cracking me up with your captions/mini’s~what a creative bunch of Mom’s we have here at BH/Pogo. I won’t say which is my fave until Lura announces the winner. Hope the glitch continues so other creative Mom’s can get in on this. What a great idea Lura~you’re one smart Mom too.

    (just had another bout w/Pogo, dam)
    so okay, finally get to BH, and what a relief – this is so neat.
    Well I’m a guy and no kids so no, not planning on making mini – tho I did one as female before for kicks once. (Still there but the caption I added recent.)

    I have enjoyed looking at all your minis. I heard there’s a holiday this weekend, which one? JK 😀

    I love cats, and the untouchable big cats, so that and a very funny caption had me loving Heart’s minis.

  31. i just wanted to tell all those that sent in a pic i think they all look cute and everyone done a great job! i never could figure out how to enlarge my pic i sent in and there are 2 pics there they are the same identical was just trying to enlarge but if when it loads u click on the image it will be larger than when it 1st loads big enough you can make out the text and see it decently lol (for those that didnt know, lol i surley didnt till few mins ago)
    wish i had of had more time to spent on creativety on mini instead of learning how to do the process of submitting it lol but i started a lil b4 4 this afternoon and its now 9 pm go figure (very computer stupid here) but hey i accomplished it… yayy for me lol
    anyways congrats to all that have sent in a pic and they rest of you get BUSY we wanna see your mini dressed up too!!
