in recent MM releases, it seems as though Pogo is trying to match the new MMs to upcoming weekly challenges – thats pretty nifty.
i like that theres a mix of older and newer games.

I was wondering if anyone knew why they dont release the mm badges the night before the 1st anymore? Am I just imagining that they use to come out earlier and for the last few months they show up sometime in the night (I think LOL they are always there in the morning when I get up)

I dont usually buy the MnMs right when they come out, hoping for a sale down the road some time. But I think I will be getting the Word Search one – that is a sweet little heart badge for Valentines Day! lol And though Im not a huge fan of Fortune Bingo, I think thats a really pretty badge too. Ill have to keep an eye on it….. Enjoy everyone!

I love the mix n match challenges, however, with the money we spend on gems, they should be more challenging. It seems pogo is making them easier and easier all the time.

LoL, silly me, I came here for hints on winning the games. Guess I will need to check back another time..And yes, they were late in issueing -checked at 11:30 PST time, still nothing–checked back at midnite and they had arrived…May be a new routine.

Janice: that’s really nice of you to offer a badge or two to Sheljin, but I don’t think that’s how it works. Someone correct me if I’m wrong: Once you’ve purchased a badge with gems, it’s yours forever and you can’t gift it to anyone else. The good news is that it won’t expire, and you can complete it at any time, and as many times as you like.

Ah, I get it what you’re saying now! Just for your reference, you can click on the checkbox that says “Include badges I’ve purchased” and gift *any* badge to anyone. 🙂 Just because you don’t choose to purchase a badge for yourself, it doesn’t mean it “expires” exactly. Sure, the badges won’t be on sale forever, but it doesn’t really go to waste. I hope that makes sense — I’m having a hard time explaining it right now.

I was surprised to see so many comments about not liking the offerings this month!!! I actually love most of the games/challenges offered this month, so let me pick my chin up off the floor! LOL! The ones I don’t like are probably the popular ones too… I’m not crazy about the Fortune Bingo, Panda Pai Gow Poker or Perfect Pair Solitaire, so I won’t buy those. I usually wait for a sale though, but if there’s no sale I’ll buy M&M’s when they’re expiring and I think I’m all caught up for February, so I shouldn’t have to buy any more until March! 🙂
(But I did buy the Limited Edition one!!! 😀 )

Ban, I agree. I’ve always been picky about choosing only the MnM badges for games that I love, but lately it seems they’re way too easy. I don’t want to spend the gems if I can finish the badge in 10 minutes. Some of the weeklies, on the other hand, lately have been far too time-consuming, in my opinion, lol.

I think what Lura is trying to express is that each MnM badge has options. You can buy for yourself and/or buy as a gift for another each and every MnM badge that has not retired. Such as the Yahtzee badge. You can mark both to purchase and to gift it. Then, you designate to whom you want the gifted one sent. I have 2 accounts and keep the gems in my account. I wait for them to be on sale and then gift them to my family account. I also have a really good friend who I gift the special edition ones to. This is easier for me as my family would spend the gems I had in the 2nd account reserved for badges on really cool items for the mini. There is a learning curve here as the gifting is new to us all and it has taken me a while to get used to the gift-giving and to understand you have to open the gift on the other side. There was a day that I could not find a Mnm badge in the MnM book, then suddenly realized it was on the home page with my profile.

I was gonna get the badges this month but pogo won’t take my credit card cause it expires this month oh well guess I’ll just wait til I get a new card I’ll spend my time working on badges I have bought but haven’t completed yet

My very first post! Thank you Lois (post 24) for the info. I was having a heck of a time trying to gift M&M badges. I buy most of the M&M badges. But I agree with a previous poster that said she would get the Word Search Daily because it has a nice Valentines pic on it. I think the graphics on some of these games are getting lame. Spike is being seen wayyy too often. I wish the Special badges would at least have a pic that is tied to that patricular holiday or event. The New Years’s badge had a pic of an animal (gopher) I think, I couldn’t even tell. lol What was wrong with a dancing girl? I have been at your site reading for quite some time. Thank you for all the valuable tips I have received from you. I hope I have posted correctly. Thanks again.

I noticed a lot of people are being selective when buying badges and only buying ones that have a cool graphic or can be won by playing a game they enjoy. For the record, I wish I could be this way myself, but I NEED TO HAVE THEM ALL!!! Whether I like the game or the graphic or not, I MUST HAVE IT!!!
I was just curious if anyone else is as badge crazy as me, and needs to have the complete Mix and Match collection.

OK OK I have a tip for the word search mm badge Find only the words that start with “L” then hit new game It will give you the credit towards the badge and you can keep replaying that days game until you get the 25 words!!! Hope this helps everyone

Okay, I will throw in a hint for Panda Pai Gow Poker. You need to guess the Bonus Bet correctly to move the panda up the stairs. If you don’t care about winning the main part of the game, you can play to lose. Set your 2 hands with cards that (almost) guarantee to be absolutely losing poker hands. (I say “almost” because this is Pogo and occasionally they have to throw you a curve ball. lol) Then you “bet” that both hands will lose. As I said, it won’t help you advance in the main game, but if you want to get this particular badge fast, this way usually does it.

to Kiki #5…Yes, I have noticed for the past few months that everyone of the upcomming weekly badge games are also included in the m/m badge release.
Do you suppose pogo figures more people will buy them if they can double up while playing the weeklies ?? Could it be a follow the money thing ??
