Today’s Mini Mall release contains a bunch of stuff for Mother’s Day (some of the items are recycled from previous years) and some high-flying Mini items as well. In addition, Pogo has re-released a few Red Hat items as well.
Not counting the four hats, these items will set Club Pogo members back a total of 56,700 tokens. If you decide to use your gems to purchase all of the available items, you’ll be spending exactly 200 gems, even with your Club Pogo discount. (Food for thought: a 170-gem package costs $9.99.) Non-Club Pogo members pay 10% more for token items and pay 2 gems more for each of the gem items they have access to (there are some Club Pogo exclusive mini items that can be purchased with both gems and tokens).
As has been the case lately, it seems like there are a lot of Mini items in this release that require gems for purchase. If you’re not interested in spending gems and thus not seeing the items in the mall that cost gems, this last week’s Letters to the Editor had a letter that dealt with just that:
Hi!
I love playing these Pogo games, and occasionally changing my mini. I just want to know if it would be possible for you to separate the gem items from the token items at the mini mall.
Quite frankly, I am not going to buy any gems, no matter how much I might like something, my budget will not allow it. It can be so frustrating to go through the items trying to find something I like with all the gem items in the way.
Thanks!
Editor: Well, there’s no way to remove the gem items from showing up, but you CAN “sort by price” and you’ll be able to see the free stuff first, and then the token amounts. Unfortunately, you can’t sort by “price” *and* “release”, so you won’t be able to see only the for token New Releases.
We are in the very, very, very initial stages of looking at a Mini Mall improvement project, and one of the things we’ll be putting in there is some enhanced sorting. However, if you didn’t catch it from my repeated use of the word “very”, this is way out in the future. 😉
