How to Play Beaker Creatures

The Basics

Beaker Creatures is a single player Club Pogo puzzle game with a simple and addictive pattern-matching dynamic. Players are rewarded for identifying both similarities as well as differences in the creatures.

Gameplay

With your mouse, select three creatures to create a group. That group is scored based upon the similarities that all three creatures share, AND the differences that all three creatures share.

All three creatures sharing the same trait scores points.

All three creatures differing on the same trait scores points.

Two creatures sharing the same trait and one being different does not score points.

Score points to fill the scoring tube at the left of the screen. Fill two scoring tubes for a jackpot spin, and fill the 3rd tube for extra bonus points!

You only receive a limited number of creatures with which to make sets, so the higher you can score with a single set, the more successful you will be. At the end of the game, you will receive bonus points for any creatures you have left.

PERFECT GROUPS

You score the most points by making a PERFECT group, meaning each feature is either ALL THE SAME, or ALL DIFFERENT. Below are 3 examples of Perfect Groups with a description of each feature.

Other Groups

The following examples show lesser value groups and the points you receive for them. You receive more points for groups with more features that are either all the same or all different.

Levels

There are three skill levels in Beaker Creatures, Easy Medium and Hard. The harder the difficulty, the more points you need to score to fill the scoring tubes.

Ranks

When you reach certain ranks, not only will you earn a new rank, but you’ll also get a nifty new Premium Badge that you can display next to your name. See if you can be the first person on your block to earn these badges! (Please note that turning off your neighbor’s electricity in order to be the first on your block is not condoned by Pogo.)
