Tri-Peaks Solitaire Tips & Hints

Rank progress in Tri-Peaks Solitaire is based on winning hands, which you do by removing every card from the play area.

At the beginning of the hand, it is best to remove as many cards as possible and try to get long streaks. You want to turn up as many face-down cards as quickly as possible.

As you progress, make sure that the bottom row of cards are removed before you get too high on other peaks.

When you get down to the end, it may be better to remove one card than removing two or three others. Say you have a 4,6 and 7 left on the playing field and you turn over a 5 from your deck. It is better to remove the 4 and leave the 6 and 7 for later. That way, you can win the hand if you get a 5,6,7 or 8. If you left the 4 on the table, then you can only win with a 3 or 5.

It is also better to save your wild cards for when you have one card left when the pile is empty (or two connecting cards). Using them to prolong a streak is something you should only do when working on a badge of that type.
