Beaker Creatures Tips & Hints

Rank progress in Beaker Creatures is earned through receiving “Rank Points” for winning a game. You get more Rank Points for playing on the harder levels. Beaker Creatures is one of the quickest games on Pogo to rank out in, but you do have to understand the game to be able to win on the hard level.

To win a game on hard, you need to string together a chain of “Perfect Matches”. For each one you get in a row, you receive additional bonus points. A perfect match is achieved when you select three creatures that have all of their characteristics the same or all different. There are enough perfect matches available in every game on the hard level to easily win. The key is to be able to spot them.

First, start with a particular color and see if the creatures of that color all have the same or different numbers of horns and eyes. If no color works out, see if you can work on one particular shape in three different colors to find a perfect match. It takes some time and skill to be able to spot “Different/Different/Different” matches, so it is usually best to stick with color and shape as starting points.

If you see a creature that has a slight blue glow and is pulsating, that is your power-up creature. If you can use this creature in a perfect match, all of your active creatures will change such that they have one characteristic all the same. For example, they will all be blue or all have three horns. This is a huge advantage and makes the next few selections very easy to get perfect matches. So if you have the glowing creature, make it your top priority to find a perfect match for it.
