The Game Journeys album is going to be retired soon, so Pogo has put it on sale for $3.59 or 51 gems.
This album, released in 2008, contains ten challenges in World Class Solitaire, Ali Baba Slots, Word Whomp, Lottso!, Lost Temple Poker, Stack ‘em, Poppit!, Bingo Luau, KenoPop!, and Tri-Peaks Solitaire. Each of the badges depicts two of Pogo’s favorites mascots Tex and Ally Carter as they journey around the world.

Pogo just put out a news article warning people not to fall for scams that promise free gems and tokens in chat rooms or in emails; they mention that all legitimate free gem offers will come from pogo.com or their partner, Peanut Labs. Today they’ve got an ad on the right side of their News page for one of these Peanut Labs promotions to earn free gems. (See, you can tell this offer is legitimate because it links directly to pogo.com.)
Be aware, with most of these offers you’ll be asked to either sign up for something or purchase something; as a reward you’ll be given free Pogo gems. This works out well for Pogo because they get referral fees for sending you to the advertisers or merchants. Caveat emptor.
Feel free to help out your fellow community members: share your experiences with Pogo’s free gem offers in a comment below. Thanks!
