Update: This particular promo for 3 months of Club Pogo for 50 points has now been removed from the RecycleBank web site.

They have added replacement offers for Club Pogo, but they require more points for redemption. 3 months of Club Pogo can be redeemed for 125 points, 6 months for 200 and a year for 275. We’ll keep you posted if we find bonus ways to earn points beyond their regular recycling program.

Mama2b111401 wrote in to let us know about a program for getting a free Club Pogo subscription! RecycleBank is a web site that rewards households for recycling and right now just for signing up they’ll give you enough rewards points to redeem for a 3-month subscription to Club Pogo. Here’s how to do it:

• Visit RecycleBank.com and register for a new account.

• Sign in and you’ll see a “Registration Bonus” of 100 points has been added to your account.

• Click on Get Rewards and choose the All Rewards tab on the left sidebar. Choose C and scroll down to choose Club Pogo.

• Add a 3-month Club Pogo subscription to your cart. Choose View Cart from the upper right hand side of the page and Checkout. (You cannot add two subscriptions: this program only allows you to redeem points for one 3-month subscription every 6 months.)

• Once you’ve checked out, you’ll be given your reward code on the following page as well as in an email. Full instructions for redemption are included.

Since there is a limit of one subscription per 6 months per household, you’ll want to come back in June to try to redeem your last 50 points (if the promotion is still active.. fingers crossed!) for another 3-month subscription.

MomsBassetHound, our resident MyCokeRewards expert, wrote in to let us all know that the amount of points needed to redeem a free Club Pogo membership has changed with the new year’s extension. Here are the new details:

75 Points – 1 Month of Club Pogo
Reward code must be entered by January 31, 2011

200 Points – 3 Months of Club Pogo
Reward code must be entered by January 31, 2011

570 Points – 1 Year of Club Pogo
Reward code must be entered by January 31, 2011

The 3-month reward was reduced by 50 points and the one year reward was increased by 20 points more. In addition, the Pogo rewards have been extended for another year, through January 2011.

For those of you unfamiliar with the promo, here are some details:

You can earn MyCokeRewards points for entering codes from Coca-Cola brand products at the MyCokeRewards web site. Once you’ve saved up enough rewards points, you can turn them in to get free stuff — like Club Pogo subscriptions. (For what it’s worth, a 12-pack of Coke products will earn you 10 points, and bottles are worth 3.) When you use your points to get a Club Pogo subscription, they’ll send you a Club Pogo pass code via email with instructions to add the time to your account; like all Club Pogo passes, the time is added to the end of your current subscription.

Here’s a quick run-down of the news I’ve received over the past week (at least the stuff that’s still relevant):

The next PBA in development is Spike’s Casino. It’ll probably be released in January, but I’ll keep you posted if I hear otherwise. I will post the badges and their requirements later.

There’s a sweepstakes going on in Pogo Bowl for another few days. Play Pogo Bowl daily between December 15 – December 20 for chance to win $1,000 for you and a $1,000 for your favorite charity or a Portable Media Player and $10 gift card.

Several folks have written in wondering if Pet Society on Facebook is the replacement for Pogo Puppies, or at least the reason it’s retiring. “In the world of Pet Society, you and your pet can play games, decorate your house and even bring gifts to your friends!
