Update: If you’re a privacy nut but your profile is still public, you’ll want to make sure you adjust your Gift Settings (which can be found by going to the “My Gifts” link on your home page, then choosing “Gift Settings” from the left sidebar). If you were to receive a gift and open it, by default the item, the sender’s name, and the message they included with the gift would be displayed on your profile to whoever has rights to see it. Make sure to check the boxes for “Keep sender names private” and “Keep messages private” to stop that from happening.

In addition, we got a release full of holiday items today as well! There’s just over a page full of new backgrounds, goodies, and clothing for our minis!

2010 Program Extension::More Good Times are Coming Your Way

We’ve got some great news for you; My Coke Rewards will keep going in 2010. With millions of more ways to grab points from some new brands and packages, you can keep rewarding yourself all year long. The points you have already picked up will carry over and there will be no interruption in code entry. Check out the new rules after January 1 for complete details and dates.

For those of you unfamiliar with the promo, here are some details:

You can earn MyCokeRewards points for entering codes from Coca-Cola brand products. Once you’ve saved up enough rewards points, you can turn them in to get free stuff — like Club Pogo subscriptions. The deal is pretty sweet: one month of Club Pogo is 75 points, 3 months is 250, and a full year is only 550 points. (For what it’s worth, a 12-pack of Coke products will earn you 10 points, and bottles are worth 3.) When you use your points to get a Club Pogo subscription, they’ll send you a Club Pogo pass code via email with instructions to add the time to your account; like all Club Pogo passes, the time is added to the end of your current subscription.

If you’re not receiving your free tokens, check out this FAQ from Pogo, you may have to play through one whole game to be awarded your tokens no matter what the pop-up window says. (We have yet to hear of anyone who has had to play through a game to receive their tokens, this is probably just another case of Pogo’s customer support being wrong again.)

Even though the offer states “Tokens are awarded once”, you can get them each week. The pop-up windows that show you token awards also gives you a tip on how to play the game. Enjoy!

There are 12 prizes: each winner will receive 1 million tokens and (what we think is the coolest part of the prize) a Spike plush toy.
