Today, Pogo released the Mini Awards for Dice City Roller, Quick Quack, Stellar Sweeper (though it looks like this one is giving an error right now), and Shuffle Bump.

Like previous Mini Award releases, there are a few errors and problems (right now Dice City Roller is showing a Mini goodie from Mahjong Garden as already claimed), so you might want to claim what you can now and re-visit the page in a day or so to claim the rest after they’ve been fixed.

And with this release, as we predicted the Puck Head has been removed from our Mini’s closets so it can now be claimed through the proper channel. However, the scoreboard from Dice Derby remains.

We’re getting closer to having Mini Awards in some more games! The first batch is coming out of the gazillion we showed you earlier, and they’re for the following:

Quick Quack:

Shuffle Bump (this includes the oops freebie Puck Head we mentioned last week, which is sure to be removed from our closets now):

And the upcoming game Puck’s Peak will also have the following mini awards (originally we thought they’d be freebies or for-token purchases at the Mini Mall, but Pogo sure likes to keep us guessing):

It looks like the Stellar Sweeper awards will also be coming with this batch but they haven’t nailed down what levels you’ll be earning them at.

For those of you who are interested in claiming these awards the moment they come out, make sure you are at least rank 7 in Quick Quack, and rank 6 in Shuffle Bump.

I love it when random items appear in our Mini’s closets. Quite often they’re a mistake (anyone remember the Robo-Blender 5000 from Word Riot, which made its appearance in our closets not just incorrectly but really early?), but they’re still fun.

Today we got two “Freebie” items, which we’d last seen in the recent colossal sneak peek at upcoming mini award items. Behold:

I don’t really know how or why these magically appeared in my closet (like many others, I haven’t played either Shuffle Bump or Dice Derby in months), but I’m definitely not going to be a Puck Head and complain!

We know there are many more of these items, so where are they now and how are the rest going to be awarded? Only time (and Pogo) will tell!

The Thanksgiving Mini items have been released this year! There are almost two pages of items to choose from, including an awesome baked potato costume and a Siberian tiger pet.

Whet your appetite for the big upcoming holiday with Thanksgiving themed Mini backgrounds, goodies and more!

Be sure to check out some of the backgrounds that pay tribute to the Native Americans and nature!

Soon, you’ll be able to give more kinds of gifts to your friends via Pogo! Currently the only “gifts” we can give are Premium Badge Albums, but Pogo is going to be implementing a whole My Gifts section where you can give and see what you’ve received. You’ll be able to give Mini items, Premium Badge Albums, and Mix-n-Match badges to your friends. It’ll show you exactly what you’ve received too, and who gave it to you.

In the Mini Mall, for example, you’ll be able to select “Give as a Gift” (in addition to “Try” or “Add” to your cart) and it’ll stick the item in your Gift cart. You then choose your recipient and send away! It appears as if you’ll be able to send items worth tokens and gems, though that may change in the future.

Let’s hope Pogo gets this neat feature up and running before Christmas, I suspect a lot of people’s shopping lists will be shortened considerably if they could easily gift tons of mini items and mix-n-match badges to their Pogo friends!

We weren’t kidding when we said Pogo’s graphic artists have been busy busy busy making items for our minis! Here’s a gigantic sneak peek of some upcoming mini awards we’ll be able to earn in-game.

The graphic artists at Pogo have been busy creating a lot of artwork for our minis. Recently, the following images were created.

Please note: while sometimes game-related mini items may mean a game is going to be deluxe, this is not a deluxe game. In addition, these are not mini awards that will be awarded in game. Right now, they appear to be mini items that will be released either in coordination or shortly after the release of the game. (Pogo did this with Trivial Pursuit last year.)
