Our friend HomelessDog has graciously taken a few screenshots of line-ups that resulted in holes-in-one on some of the holes on some of the courses in Mini Golf Madness. These are just for reference and suggestions on how you may achieve a hole-in-one. You may or may not be able to replicate the line-ups pixel-by-pixel (and in some cases, you might just have to guesstimate) and achieve a hole-in-one. If not, remember: the fun is in trying!

Today, after saying it was “coming soon” since July 17th, Pogo has “soft released” Mini Golf Madness — there may be bugs and problems with the game for a few days or longer.

This miniature golf game has 50 ranks and nineteen badges (yes, NINETEEN) you can earn in the future (only four of the course badges are active as of the time of this post, the rest will be added with new courses monthly).

There are five rank badges (available at ranks 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50), two in-game achievement badges, and twelve “course” badges (you may only be able to win four at this time, we’ll keep you posted when we figure out the details).

Oh, Pogo, you’re such a tease.

Mini Golf Madness can now be added to your favorites. In fact, you can browse the Mini Golf Madness game page all you want, but they’re not going to let us play it yet. At the time of this posting, there are no game rooms added and clicking on the Play Now graphic results in a “All Rooms Occupied” error.

This is going to frustrate some people to no end, especially since we aren’t able to give you a reason why this has happened (first guess is “big oops”, second guess is “it’s coming soon!”) nor a timeline on when we’ll be able to play this long-awaited game.

(Little fact: it was JULY SEVENTEENTH when they first told us on the News page that this game was “coming soon”. Yes, Christmas 2015 is coming soon too.)

We’re going to leave comments closed on this, since we can already hear the resounding thuds of heads on keyboards, the whooshing of fists shaking in the air, and loud cacophony of “WTF”.

Update! We saw the latest Letters to the Editor UK and there’s this:

Sincere apologies for the delay to Mini Golf Madness, which was originally scheduled for release on Tuesday. When I posted last week’s column, I did honestly think that the game would be out by now – you know I’d never knowingly lie to you, right? :)

Having done some “probing”, the delay was due to a minor configuration error with the game. The latest info I have is that Mini Golf Madness will be released in the early part of next week. Pogo News will, as always, have full details when the game does finally launch!

Tuesday, then. We aren’t holding our collective breath, though.

We’ve seen the note in the Pogo News that Mini Golf Madness is “coming soon” (and it has been for a few weeks now), but this time it’s really coming soon! Check out this promo page and get your putters ready! Usually the release of a promo page means there’s 2 weeks or less left before the game will be launched.

Today, we posted the rules for Mini Golf Madness. There are a lot of special features and power-ups to this game — it looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun. Even more fun for the most Badge Hungry among us, we’ll be able to earn 19 total badges in this game.

There are the five rank badges and two in-game achievement badges, but there are also twelve “Course” badges. (Kudos to BadgeAddicts for finding these badges!)

If you look closely, these badges are still a work in progress — the small text on some of them reads “Course Icon Here”. According to the How to Play, you can earn by completing each Standard course in the game at or below Par.

Here’s a first look at the MiniGolf Madness badges. There are 7 badges in total and we’ll update you with the badge requirements for both the rank badges and in-game achievement badges when more information is available.

We had our friend BadgeHunter pop into MiniGolf Madness to grab five more screenshots for everyone to see. (Thanks for getting these awesome images for everyone!) Here they are!

This game will be for Club Pogo members only. You can see Pogo’s characters and elements from other games in these screenshots as well as the last set we posted. According to BadgeHunter, “the game is really easy to play, you earn a jackpot if you are under par for the first 9 holes, and another spin if your under par for the 2nd 9 holes. You can choose to play the first or second half of the course – or the whole thing!”

We’ve got a couple screenshots of a new game Pogo’s working on called MiniGolf Madness. Other than the screenshots, we don’t have a lot more information at this time.

As you can see, this is a true MiniGolf game and several of Pogo’s mascots will be making an appearance throughout the game! We’ll keep you posted as more information comes out about this new game.
