Fairy Godmother Tycoon fans, make sure you’re firmly seated for this one, it’s a disappointment to say the least:
This week’s Letters to the Editor was full of bombshells! Check out this partial letter and the Editor’s response regarding the rumored Fairy Godmother Tycoon 2/Unlocked/Premium:
Thanks for all the work you do at Pogo and keep the great games coming. By the way, when are we getting a new download game? I loved Fairy Godmother Tycoon and I know a TON of Pogo players that loved it as well. Any chance we will see a Fairy Godmother Tycoon 2 maybe with ranks/badges/mini items?
…
…As for Fairy Godmother Tycoon… I, too, thought it was a lot of fun, but alas, there will be no a sequel.
When all references to FGT2 were removed from Pogo’s development servers, we suspected the worst and now months later it has been confirmed: it’s been canceled. We may never know the details of why or how it happened, but we can tell you that some graphics were created and Pogo’s development team had started work on the game, but then someone huffed and puffed and blew the whole game right out of existence.
For a trip down memory lane, and to see the badges that were created (and later shelved) for this never-to-be-seen game, check out our Fairy Godmother Tycoon 2 articles archive.
It appears that Fairy Godmother Tycoon 2 (also known as Fairy Godmother Tycoon Premium or most recently Fairy Godmother Tycoon Unlocked) has either been delayed or canceled: all references to the game have been removed from Pogo’s testing servers. The only thing that remains of this game are the badges that were created, all of which are still on Pogo.com’s public web server and on the testing server.
For all of the information we’d gathered on FGT2, visit our Fairy Godmother Tycoon Unlocked archive, which includes images of the badges and their proposed requirements.
Until we find out more information, we’re going to consider this game “delayed”, but please be aware it could be canceled entirely.
Once again, Fairy Godmother Tycoon Premium (formerly Fairy Godmother Tycoon 2) has gotten a new name: Fairy Godmother Tycoon Unlocked. We’ve also got names and requirements for the six badges and good news: as with all of Pogo’s deluxe-style games, you’ll be able to earn a free badge just for trying the free trial of the game.

Sweet Getaway Badge
Play Fairy Godmother Tycoon Unlocked to earn this badge.

Rank 10 – Beware of the Loan Shark! Badge

Rank 20 – I’ll Huff and I’ll Puff Badge

Rank 30 – Climbing the Beanstalk Badge

Rank 40 – Full of Love Potion Badge

Rank 50 – If the Shoe Fits Badge
We’ll keep you posted as we receive more information on this upcoming deluxe game — keep an eye on the BadgeHungry home page or our Fairy Godmother Tycoon category for the latest.
In the meantime, if you’re interested in what this game will be all about, try the original Fairy Godmother Tycoon game. It’s a time management game, and you get to be the fairy godmother! If that sounds like your cup of tea, you can download a free, 1 hour trial of the original Fairy Godmother Tycoon and try it out.

Great news, Fairy Godmother Tycoon Premium (also/formerly called Fairy Godmother Tycoon 2) is in development. This deluxe, downloadable game will have six badges. (If other deluxe games are any indication, the badges will be awarded at ranks 0/1, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50; but don’t quote us on that.) Check them out!

We just got words of two new games in development: Fairy Godmother Tycoon 2 and Sea Ball.
It looks like FGT2 will be a Pogo deluxe game, probably a follow up to the original Fairy Godmother Tycoon
game. This means we’ll see ranks and badges for the sequel, yay!
Sea Ball is still a mystery (it’ll be a skee-ball type game), but we’ll let you know when we get more details — as usual!
