Have you ever wondered what the new (and old) TV commercials from Pogo look like? Now’s your chance. Pogo is featuring their six television commercials on this page. The first three are brand new, for Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, and Bingo Luau. The next two have been aired in the past on different networks, like Lifetime and GSN. There’s also one that’s never been aired before, for First Class Solitaire.

To say that we’re all disappointed at this news is a grave understatement:

New ranks for Spooky Slots?

Good afternoon, Ed,

I’m so glad to see the return of Spooky Slots, it really makes Halloween feel Halloweeny. I’m just puzzled about one thing - the ranks. Do you know if anymore ranks are going to be added this year, or is it just the game being returned to us? I know we have the Mix & Match due out shortly, but I know myself, and a lot of other players were eagerly awaiting the ranks.

Thanks for writing in, it’s nice to see Spooky Slots being welcomed back so warmly! To answer your question, I’m afraid I’m not aware of any plans to add new ranks to the game this year. I have seen a few requests for more ranks from UK players, which have been duly noted and passed on to the Club Pogo team.

Now, we can’t find anywhere on Pogo that said for certain that they’d add more ranks to the game; but it was a common thought among all of the fan sites (this site included). But still, we’re all pretty disappointed.

(We’re still digging through the recesses of Pogo’s site to find proof…somewhere… that they did say we’d get 10 ranks a year.)

There will, however, be a mix-n-match badge released in October for Spooky Slots. It will be available when the rest of the October M&M’s are released.

Much like the recent SCRABBLE Secrets premium badge album, Pogo is creating a Monopoly Premium Badge Album. So far there are 8 challenges with animated badges and one badge for completion. It also may be released as early as October 7th!

Get ready to indulge at the Mini Mall: the Halloween minis are coming soon. This year there are new costumes for guys and girls, new mini items, and great new backgrounds; and a few favorites from past years are coming back too.

This year you can dress up in Masquerade Costumes, a Cocoon, a Ghost Groom or Bride costume, Scarecrow Costumes, and Sumo Wrestler outfits. There’s also a new broom, Pogo carved pumpkin, and a string of lights for above your mini’s head. The new backgrounds are also fantastic, but we won’t give away all of this year’s spooky surprises!

There will also be, for you die-hard pet lovers, a few mini items for your pets that will help them celebrate the season as well.

Look for the new items as well as returning favorites soon, in October!

It looks like Pogo may be working on a new project, Monopoly Slots. We don’t have a lot of details at this point, but we’ll keep you posted. Imagine playing slots around the world with Mr. Monopoly (Uncle Moneybags, if you prefer) and the new “Here and Now” cities and themes. How fun!

This week, Club Pogo UK turns one year old; and to celebrate, Pogo has released a whole set of UK-related mini clothes, backgrounds, and goodies for you to wear for the party! There are items for Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and the UK. There are also some great backgrounds, costumes and crests for each. In addition, Pogo also snuck in a Ms. Moneybags outfit (to complement the male one from the last release) and a Dog Show animated background for your pets!

Pogo UK has a bunch of mini-games to play to celebrate, and all Club Pogo members have been awarded the “UK 1 Year Anniversary Badge” (seen here). If you play all of the mini games you can earn 10,000 tokens and get a free wallpaper!
