Monopoly Secret Badge Glitch

There’s apparently a problem with one of the Monopoly secret badges, the Jail Bird Badge. The requirement to earn the badge is supposed to be “Get out of jail, only to re-enter jail on the same turn”, however players are reporting that if they are in jail and choose to roll doubles — but do not roll doubles — they are being awarded the badge.

We even tested it out this morning.

Ooops.

Update (9/11/08, 11am): a few readers have written in to report that this may have been fixed overnight, as they were unable to get the badge simply from rolling for doubles and not getting them.

New Profiles and Monopoly!

First up today, new profiles for Pogo members — both Club and non-Club members have profiles. The best part — or maybe worst part — about this is that you can link directly to any Pogo profile.

And all speculation aside, Monopoly has been released and you can play it here. Feel free to let us know if you have any unique game hints or tips for Pogo’s version of Monopoly, and definitely let us know if you get one of those secret badges we told you about yesterday. Thanks!
