One of those relaxation mini items that hasn’t officially been released yet has snuck into the latest release on Pogo. Head to the mini mall — click on My Mini and What’s New, last page — and pick up your free Singing Bowl! (Originally we thought this was a mortar and pestle, and some people thought it was champagne chilling in a bowl of ice…)

We’re not sure if it was supposed to be free (but we suspect it was), but it certainly shouldn’t be out yet, so don’t wait on picking it up, just in case.

Further sleuthing… In the information for this item (clicking on the “i” in the upper left corner of the item), it lists it as having been released on 3/3. Assuming this was a typo, we are guessing that the full set of relaxation items will be released on 4/3.

And even more sleuthing… The Take 5 to Play mini items page says “Look forward to a new and FREE Pogo Mini item release in April.”

Thankfully Pogo didn’t wait until their 5-year anniversary (which is coming up this July) to release Pogo Addiction Solitaire — they released it this morning.

Mahjong Safari has been released. In addition, the redesign to the room selection pages has been launched (although not without its share of quirky cross-browser bugs — we might not yet be seeing it exactly as it was designed).

Today Pogo released the Relax & Play Premium Badge Album. It is $5.99 or 86 gems, and contains 10 stress-free challenges for Mahjong Garden, Poppit!, Jigsaw Detective, First Class Solitaire, Jungle Gin, Rainy Day Spider Solitaire, Dominoes, Word Search Daily, Sweet Tooth 2, and Thousand Island Solitaire.

We are all particularly fond of the background shown on the right, the Pool Party. It’s animated, so you’ll need to purchase it with gems, but it’s just gorgeous! Worth every gem, right?

Tri-Peaks 2: Quest for the Ruby Ring was released this morning. “Complete hands avoiding hazards, collecting artifacts & exploring hidden temple sites. Collect valuable rubies for Pachinko-style bonus games. Earn ranks, badges, custom outfits and backgrounds. Play alone or team up with 19 other players.” We’ve already figured out that the game has 50 ranks and those are listed in our tracker so you can keep track of your progress, but we haven’t added any badge markers yet. You’ll earn your first badge just for trying the game, so get started!
